Peggy Sue's Maui

Peggy Sues is the best restaurant I've ever been to. Everything was perfect, from the old fashion to the food. The burgers are big and delicious, making them hard to finish in one sitting, but that's great because you can take the leftovers home. The fries are superb and honestly, I can't think of a single flaw. My grandparents renewed their wedding vows, and the restaurant gave us a free sundae to celebrate. If I could give a better rating than 5 stars, I absolutely would.

A hidden gem for delicious diner food and ice cream! Their hot dogs are so good - we especially liked the Seattle dog. And they serve local Hawaiian Roselani ice cream, which is amazing. Wonderful service as well. When visiting Maui, we find Peggy Sue’s to be a nice change of pace from the many fabulous and expensive fresh fish restaurants. Great to add a lunch or dinner here to have some variety.

Stopped by around 7:00 for burgers and a shake with my wife. Great service. Delicious milkshakes and big burgers. I was barely able to finish my burger and the shakes come with the extra bit that gives you a little more when you think you are done. My wife even wanted to use a restroom to wash her hands but in the absence of a restroom the manager provided a warm wet hand towel for her.

The Hawai’i Five-o burger is the most delicious and messy burger I’ve had in my life…. The Chocolate peanut butter milkshake is HEAVEN.

Got the “Good Vibrations” burger with the veggie patty for an extra two dollars. You can substitute a vegetarian patty for any of their burgers which is really nice. The burger was absolutely amazing and really big, and came with fries that were also perfect. You can tell it was made fresh and care was put into the quality. Also, the milkshakes are great and come with 2-3 full glasses worth.

Server was super friendly and helped us with the vegetarian options and just added to the good atmosphere there.

I don’t leave a lot of reviews but this place is perfect in atmosphere, taste, quality, service, and value (for Hawaii).

This is the coolest place to eat! Set up like a 50's diner with music from that era... I had a chili dog and was surprised to see the frank was longer than the bun with a split down the middle (served with fork and knife). I can only imagine what the jumbo hot dog looks like!! Chilis vary by region; this one is with beans and ground beef. The onion rings are crunchy and good... my husband's hamburger was juicy and he didn't share... It is definitely worth every penny you spend and don't forget to save room for premium hand dipped ice cream. The macadamia nut is very good!

Alex is a grill master back there whipping up this very delicious, ‘Great Balls of Fire,’ burger. Already my jewels are on fire just from eating one grilled jalapeño.
Katherine is the sweetest server and very easy on the eyes.😇 She is like a professional sky flying milkshake maker.

Hidden gem in Kihei! Great food! So so ono! Fast, friendly servers. Took my family for dinner. Got there during their happy hour, the prices are unbeatable for the quality and taste! Milkshakes are delicious!

Great food and loved the themed atmosphere. Food was amazing and being able to watch the cook work was fun as well. Waitress was super nice and attentive.

Always one of my favorites when in Kihei. Hamburger Steak just the way I like it. Recommend for everyone and love the old school diner atmosphere.

We. We're at the classic car show on Friday night and saw the very cute 50*s.stulr diner with even counter seating. I was born in 64 so I remember diners...OG style. It was busy but was greeted, gave me u, water. Ordered a hot diggity dog and athe sauerkraut one comes with fries. And a lilikoi (passionfruit) milkshake from meadow gold ice cream with whipped cream .....so ono. Cost 40$ 15 a dog and 10 for the milkshake. I've lived her 40 years and prices are astronomical so I was looking for budget. It was not badly priced comparatively, pretty reasonable, service was very good even tho.busy and the food,.well it got devoured. I'm got to go because.it.was crowded and I tell u what.....it broke da mouth kind onoliscious. The milkshake was gone so fast it was so crazy good. Thank you.

Definitely get the Loco Moco fries and a milkshake. Your arteries might not thank you, but know that it is worth it and you will want to come back to Maui just to have it again.

Hidden gem in Kihei! Fun family dining atmosphere with excellent and affordable options. The service is outstanding snd we’ll be back the next time we’re in town. The Mahi Mahi sandwich with special fries sauce are the best! Thank you Katherine and Luis for an outstanding evening out🌈

Very good food, milkshakes were top notch. Burger so big it almost killed Kalyn.

Myself and my partner Jacqui visited while we stayed in Kehei in May. We both had cheese burger and fries with side salad and it really teasty, my partner said her burger was the best one she has ever tasted. So it is a must if your visiting Kehei that you go to the classic 50's style dinner for a bite to eat. The staff were super friendly aswell and the location is close to lots of little shops and not far from the beach. If i visit Kehei in the future i will defo pop in for a teasty cheese burger and fries. Thankyou to all staff at Peggy Sue's Steve and Jacqui from Fife.

Great burgers and loco moco. Also got the appetizer platter and it had a good selection and a lot. Fast friendly service. This place was recommended to me by a friend and I'm recommending it to you!

The Milkshakes are amazing, the atmosphere is great, and Pablo has to be one coolest guys I've met in Maui. Favorite restaurant by far.
