The food is amazing. the pancake is tasty.

the service is fast and friendly.

I will definitely come back.

Banana mac pancakes 🥞 😋 highly recommended. Staff was super warm and inviting. Coffee and waters were topped off. Acquaint old fashion 1920 diner. I love this place wanted to go back again but was closed today, Monday. I'll be back!

Tasty Crust restaurant has become a regular spot for me to have breakfast. The food is just good local comfort food. I had the small Loco Moco again and it was perfect. A week ago I had the 2 eggs, extra crispy bacon and extra crispy hashbrowns. Both times the food was perfect. This place is always crowded with locals for a reason. Today a family was celebrating Mothers Day by haveing breakfast here.
I have been to the Tasty Crust twice now and it is the go to local spot. I have had the small and large Loco Moco and was very pleased with both. Everything about their Loco Moco is perfect. The eggs were cooked exactly as I requested, the beef patties are great and the portion of rice was great. It's topped with very good gravy. Also, I tried the Banana Macadamia nut Pancakes. So good! The prices are great. Definitely a locals diner.

This place was absolutely delicious. I usually don't care for pancakes but their banana pancakes are amazingly fluffy and so flavorful. The fried rice with an egg was what I ordered and it was absolutely perfect. The service was amazing too. They were so quick and they played good music. Lots of lovely decorations too.

Good thing we found this place for Breakfast. We didn’t really have to wait and got seated when we entered the parking lot. They had a variety to choose from and the prices were not that bad! I decided to try their Traditional Breakfast with Spam and Eggs. It was really good! I also tried their pancakes that everyone liked and I gotta tell you, it’s very good. I was amazed by how the syrup, butter, and the pancake it self tasted good all together. The aunty that served us was really nice with all the other staff. Love this breakfast spot, definitely a go to if you never tried this place before. Delicious and Affordable.

Had breakfast for 4 people and we were seated quickly. The food was excellent along with the service. The pancakes with homemade syrup were the best in Maui. We look forward to eating here again on our next trip. Allot of locals eat here so you know it's the perfect spot.

Little spot but food was delicious. Went a second time for breakfast before we left the island. Both times the food came out super quick. Staff was friendly and very attentive. Must try the Portuguese sausage and banana nut pancakes!

Great find. A place we always look for when we travel -- where the locals eat. Inexpensive and yet big portions and quite tasty. Staff are attentive and friendly. We dined-in for breakfast there today, Mar 1 and went back and got dinner to go. The place was packed both times. Btw, they serve breakfast the whole day. We highly recommend it.💕

No matter what, Tasty Crust never fails to deliver. It's been 3 years since I've been there and it still tastes exactly the same as when I was as kid. Mac but pancakes? Ono. Plate lunches. Delicious. Staff? Incredibly friendly. They are very upfront about being short staffed, but the food came out fairly quickly. Kudos in the kitchen. Highly recommend, although selfishly, I want to keep it locals only. 🤫

Tasty Crust has great food and is a local favorite. This visit we tried the macadamia nut mahi, which was cooked perfectly. The saimin was also really delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors and a nice texture. The sesame katsu was our favorite, with an especially flavorful sauce. Come here if you want a great, no-frills meal.

Friendly vibes like being home with grandma. We’re always searching for good spots to feed our crew and this is now one! Of course had to try the pancakes, and usually restaurant pancakes mean nothing to me, I make my own at home instead. The Banana pancake was great, buttery, plenty of banana, plenty of egg and milk in the batter, fluffy and moist. They are better than any restaurant pancakes I’ve ever tasted. Food was good portions and good taste for the money with fast friendly service. The saimin was just right and got me through my work day.

The coconut syrup was one of the best things I have ever had. Highly recommend you get that if you get pancakes!

Great little diner style breakfast. Was recommended and I’m so glad we made the drive in. Service was great and the food was amazing. I ended up finishing off my son’s fried rice plate after trying a bite ;).

Drove past the packed parking lot twice on the way to another place and decided to pull in. Ordered loco and two pancakes. The process to order take out was a little confusing and it is BUSY in there. Order was supposed to take 10 to 15 minutes and it was ready in 11. Price for the portion size was good. Taste was hot and exactly what I remember loco tasting like. Great rice/gravy ratio. Pancakes are huge and also tased great.

To really get a feel you should sit there and have it inside rather than take out. It is a show just watching everyone moving so fast. Exercise patience as everyone is busy.

When you enter put your name down on the pad and you wait outside for your name to be called.

The place is clean even if it appear dated - it adds to the experience once inside.

Loved the breakfast, We came back to have lunch after hiking on the same day. Food came out quick and was delicious, Met Curtis, the owner, and his staff were very friendly and attentive. Will be back again when we are in Maui!

It's my favorite breakfast spot and locally owned. Usually, just locals dining here. I like to spread the Aloha spirit and pay for someone's check. Always greatly appreciated, and I can't think of a better way to start my day. If you dine at the Tasty Crust, spread Aloha and consider paying it forward :)

Just Amazing!! Cheap Prices Great Food!! Wish I would have found this place before my last day on the island. This place should be on Guys' DDD!!! Loco Moco was Dynamite!! The Korean style ribs were nice n tender!! Its off the beaten path and like an old school diner (nothing flashy) but you'll be glad you ate there!!
