Prohibition Rooftop Bar & Grill

This place is great. They have a rooftop bar and we even had live music on a Wednesday night. The food was pretty awesome. I had a burger which was cooked to perfection. My only feedback is the fries aren’t the best. They are a little soft and would probably be 10x better if they fried them longer. Fries need a great crisp. Still doesn’t stop me from recommending this place though. You should give it a try

We checked out the Prohibition for a quick bite for a weekday late lunch. There were plenty of seats available at this time, and we were seated right away.

We ordered the 2 for $10.99 lunch special of a chicken salad sandwich and a ceasar salad, as well as the Grand Slam Burger with fries. We also ordered chips and salsa as an appetizer, which was actually my favorite with the salsa being very delicious! The burger was filling and flavorful and enough for leftovers. The chicken salad sandwich was toasted with a unique flavor, but the fact that it was toasted wasn't listed in the lunch special section so I wasn't aware of that prior to ordering, as well as the Ceasar salad being made with mixed greens, which I wasn't a huge fan of.

The atmosphere is relaxed and private with spacious, comfortable tables. The view is just fantastic from the top floor with a nice breeze that kept us cool. The service was great with attentive servers and pleasant conversations.

I'm sure the atmosphere changes in the evening, but this is a great place for a quick bite with a unique menu and location!

Great food with interesting options, fine service and nice atmosphere. I got a salad and it came as ordered and was fresh and crunchy. The bananas foster cake was obviously made elsewhere and potentially frozen, but was tasty, even though it was not very bananas foster-y. The Mrs. Grundy drink was an excellent highlight. The service was adequate, but had to get the attention of our server multiple times (they chose to clear a table before checking on us) to order dessert and more drinks.

Great experience at Prohibition. My group went for dinner and had a great table outside but it started to rain and Lori was sweet enough to get us a table inside and help us move our plates and glasses. Food was fantastic too and the table lights added ambience.

Had lunch here today for the first time and it was very good! Waiter recommended the Prohibition burger, not your traditional hamburger meat and it was very delicious! It’s a huge burger too. Fries that came with it were very good as well; bigger than regular fries and tastier! Craft beer selection on tap was OK. I did notice a larger selection on the mixed drinks and liquor menu. Really liked the upstairs seating area. Pretty cool environment.

The lady and I stopped by Prohibition for after dinner drinks. We’ve passed by it several times going down the highway and finally made it a point to try it out since we’re in town for a while. She had the Rocket City Margarita, and I had the Bourbon Margarita and Embalmer. The drinks were great! The evening was made even better by a live vocal performance. We got a little hungry as the night went on and ordered the oven baked brisket queso. Super delicious! We’ll definitely be back again!

Prohibition restaurant - we’ve dined inside before but only for snacks with adult beverages. The pub-fare food was better than most. This time, we wanted dinner but did not have time to dine-in so we called for takeout (20 minutes total time from call, prep to pickup). Boys had sandwiches which they said tasted great. We had the Blackened Shrimp Bok Choy Salad and the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad (both pictured). If the takeout is an indication of the food we’d have dining in, then the next time we sit down and dine-in at Prohibition Restaurant in Huntsville, AL, we are expecting a GREAT experience! Food = 5 star; take-out service = 5-star; experience = 5-star.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the brisket bowl and it completely exceeded my expectations! The combination of tender brisket and flavorful queso sauce was simply divine – a true culinary delight that left me craving more.

Moreover, the rooftop seating area provided a breathtaking backdrop for my dining experience. With its stunning views and serene ambiance, it truly elevated the overall atmosphere.

While the food and setting were outstanding, I must mention that the service could have been more attentive. Despite the slow service and the rooftop being empty during my visit, the overall experience was still memorable.

I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to indulge in delicious food amidst a charming rooftop setting.

This is hands down a unique dining experience for the Huntsville/Madison area! They have some fabulous drink Concoctions. ALSO, DONT SLEEP ON THEIR BRUNCH!! IT IS ONE OF A KIND! Must try the cornbread French toast!

Went for Lunch. The bottom floor is the inside area and I could see that area getting full quick. However, we decided to eat on the 2nd floor which is an outdoor rooftop area, that is very nice. The food was ok and they seem to have a lot of interesting menu items. I don't drink so I can't talk about their drink quality. However, it seems to be a decent place to grab some lunch or food before a game.

Go to spot in Town Madison for a variety of drinks and delicious comfort food! Their menu emphasizes BBQ items with Asian inspiration on standard bar food.

Came here to grab brunch on a day off. Sat upstairs and enjoyed the view. Got the cornbread French toast and crispy potatoes and both were great! The portions are deceptively large and I found myself having more trouble than I thought I would finishing my meal.

The food was absolutely delicious! The service was quick, knowledgeable, and friendly. The upstairs dining was perfect with a slight breeze and they had fans going.

My husband has been craving burnt ends and he found this place and wanted to try the burnt ends appetizer. Everything we ate was absolutely amazing! The service was super friendly, and the atmosphere was very cool! We will definitely be back!

Our waitress Destiny was so lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed her service! The food was amazing. Totally coming back!

Cool atmosphere with a great staff. Very friendly and convenient to the trash pandas stadium! The brisket sandwich was delicious. Well prepared, bursting with flavor and melts in your mouth. The real show stopper is the side winder taters though. Not sure what batter is used but they are delicious! This is a must try! They have a full bar and several beers on tap.

Service is fantastic here and the atmosphere can’t be beaten. Bourbon and tequila selections are outstanding!
I had the burnt ends app that was absolutely on point. Had the Pastalaya for an entree and, while it was good, the meats that are the substance of the dish were all at the bottom making the pasta a little lackluster. Finished with a chocolate and cookie dough layer cake that is decadent. Highly recommend and will return on my next business trip.

Nice bar. We stopped by for drinks before the Trash Pandas game and again the next day for a bite to eat.

Love the lettuce wraps, shrimp was cooked perfectly. The Mac & Cheese is a must try very homestyle. Not a fan of the pork belly style, little pieces and cooked too hard for my liking.
