My husband and I hired Berry's Catering and Floral for both our catering and flowers and we are thrilled that we did! Cal and his team are incredibly talented and listened to everything we wanted and made it happen. I have no clue when it comes to flowers, and I tried my best to explain the look we were going for and Cal immediately figured it out and made everything look stunning!

We had a buffet for about 115 people with dish suggestions from Cal and family recipes, Cal took it and ran with it. The flow of the meal was perfect and the dishes were absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh and full of flavor, and all of our guests had plenty to eat. We had a few people with severe food allergies and Cal was able to accommodate them smoothly and easily.

Leading up to our wedding, we were in constant communication with Cal, we did a walk through of our venue together to plan the layout of the buffet and the layout of the tables. My husband and I were planning our wedding from out of state and Cal and his team made it as stress-free as possible.

The flowers were delivered with plenty of time for pictures before the ceremony and all the decorations in the church were taken down after the ceremony and moved to our reception without any delay.

I have used Cal for my wedding as well as several other occasions over the past several years. His years of experience has resulted in many fabulous occasions. He handled everything including the food, flowers, staff, setup and break down, post event cleaning and all the rentals of table cloths, dishes, glass wear, etc. His food is always delicious and always has a creative flare. Last June I attended a wedding reception of a family friend, and her flowers and food were absolutely phenomenal! When I inquired about her caterer she said that Cal Berry did both her catering and the flowers for her bridal party. I immediately booked him for my July 20, 2019 wedding and I am so thankful that I did. Cal was incredible to work with from start to finish. I stress about everything being just perfect and he was always more than willing to meet with me and answer my questions. He was also very helpful throughout my whole wedding season in that he was very detail oriented. On the day of the wedding he far exceeded my greatest expectations. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and the food was amazing! In fact, I have countless guests ask me who my caterer was and comment that the food at our reception was the best they have ever had at a wedding. Cal did out wedding. Food was unbelievable. His staff was very professional and fun to have celebrate our special day.

Cal has such a big heart and even greater work! He’s our go to for charity events, showers and now my wedding! He’s been so accommodating during all my COVID date changes. He has such a wide range of food and floral options, which have accommodated all budget levels we have had. His team is always professional and hardworking. We could not have been more pleased with Cal and his staff at our daughter's wedding and reception. They were very professional and accommodating with our requests and needs. Cal Berry has catered the Aiken Horse Show in the Woods for 15 years. Our Venue is a difficult location in the middle of the woods with no running water or electricity. Cal always does an exceptional job on food, service and presentation! 5 Stars all around!

I had a poor experience with Cal Berry. I booked him despite the fact that I had heard he was rude. He was distant and made me feel rushed during the few meetings he arranged with me. He was often on his phone and had a poor attitude. You would also expect someone who plays such an integral part of your wedding to be eager to help make your day special, but he showed no enthusiasm and was sometimes combative. He did not exhibit professionalism at the actual wedding either. He presented with the same snobby attitude and disappeared before the event started without so much as a goodbye. Nevertheless, his staff was very nice and the food was good. At the same time, lots of places make good food and will also be nice to you.

I hired Cal Berry to cater my wedding and that was by far the biggest mistake I made! The food that Cal presented on my wedding night was the biggest disappointment of my entire wedding! I was honestly humiliated by the food! He charged me $27.75 per person for food that he ran out and bought from the grocery store days before my event. Our main part of the dinner was mini chicken and waffles....never in a million years did I expect him to buy frozen eggo waffles and old hard chicken tenders and cut them into tiny little pieces with a tooth pick through them! We ordered a marinated vegetable display, and cal apparently thinks “marinated” = “pickled” because the majority of this display consisted of pickles that you put on a hamburger!!! We ordered an assorted meat and breads tray, and this was sliced lunch meat with old, hard rolls that were unappetizing. Cal never was at my wedding - he double booked that night and never felt the need to tell me he wouldn’t be there. His assistant cut gigantic slices of wedding cake, so my $700 cake that was meant to feed 150+ people really only fed about 50!!! I gave Cal a headcount of 150 people, and he did not make enough food for the 130 people that attended! But I sure had to pay a steep price for some frozen waffles, lunch meat and pickles! Ridiculous! I hope this review prevents others from being taken advantage of like I was!
