The best Poke bowl I ever had in my life!!!!!!

You guys need to go to this place for Poke, the bowl is very generous and extremely tasty! and fair price.
I definitely will go again for more. The lady super nice explained to us how to make the order. The place seems very clean and nice even though it is located inside a gas station/liquor store.
Perfectly to stop by and grab some poke and a beer because also de selection for wine and liquor are amazing!

Awesome “secret” poke bowl spot!! Second best poke bowls on the island!! Definitely hit them up. Ahi Red Sea salt was super fresh. Ahi Shoyu delicious. Wasabi Ahi was a sinus clearer! Spicy Ahi Poke was delicious, not overpowering spice. Definitely go to this place!!

Amazing tuna (Ahi) poke! With lots of fish, I didn’t like the garlic one but it is my personal taste in that case. There is no place to eat at the shop but close by you can go eat close to the sea and enjoy the sunset

In South Kihei. Stopped by for poke, with a counter of varieties located in the far left end of store surrounding by racks and racks of alcoholic beverages. Great wine selections, even though we came here for poke 😋 - maybe the store encourages patrons to pair poke with their alcoholic selections. Some popular poke runs out fast.

Poke in a liquor store? Yep! I couldn’t tell if this place or Times nearby had better value or tasted better, but this place was AMAZING. A local recommended it to me, and I recommend it to everyone!

Best poke on the island. Maui Sunrise is to die for. Get the best deal with a poke bowl, but don't sleep on the other flavors and mix and match. Also, fair liquor prices and a good selection of local snacks and baked goods at half grocery prices, so good place to provision.

A redline rafting captain recommended this place for its poke. They have a lot of varieties and the prices are pretty good! Got the Ahi/Kalua Pig Bowl and Scallop poke to go, which were great!

People laugh when I tell them the best poke I had on the Island was from a liquor store, but it’s true! Thankfully I found out about Tamura’s because for ~$16 you get 2 large scoops of high quality Ahi (can choose up to 2 different flavors) and 2 scoops of rice. It was not only the most affordable, but honestly the best. It’s no nonsense and focuses on good quality tuna instead of giving you less tuna with tons of toppings. You can get Furikake sprinkled on top though.
A lot of poke places only have a few flavors, but what I love about Tamura’s is there is such a wide selection of very different types. I got Ninja, Hot Shoyu, Shoyu, and Spicy garlic and all were amazing. The Ninja was my favorite followed by spicy garlic which was a very different flavor than the typical soy sauce based marinade. The Hot Shoyu wasn’t too spicy if you’re worried about it being too spicy.

Poke in a liquor store? We were extremely skeptical. And upon walking in, still dubious. HOWEVER… the poke is absurdly good. Frankly, I’m not sure if it’s even possible to get better. Who knew!!?? Oh wait! Apparently, everyone.

A Poke Paradise in a Liquor store

Nestled in the heart of a liquor store, this poke spot is a true gem for seafood enthusiasts. The vibrant colors of fresh tuna, kailua, and multiple other seafood varieties greet you at the deli counter, promising a feast for the senses.

Flavor Explosion: Each bite is a symphony of flavors – from the buttery texture of the sashimi-grade fish to the subtle crunch of seaweed salad. The signature Tamura’s Hawaiian poke sauce strikes the perfect balance, adding a hint of sweetness.

Finally, the customer service was the best in Hawaii. The cashier held the door for us as we exited with our feast. Truly a genuine Hawaiian experience!

Amazing poke at a great price! I got the spicy ahi sunrise poke and the salted ahi poke. Also the ocean salad which tasted great. The presentation wasn't great, but what do you expect from poke served at a liquor store. My only complaint is that the rice was a bit overcooked.

Great selection of drinks! I didn’t find what I was looking for (does lava man even come in a can because I can’t find it anywhere) but I found exactly what I needed: a nice local porter to see me through quiet comfortable nights.
