St. Paul's Episcopal Church

My absolute favorite place on earth is the 12:05 daily Eucharist at St. Paul’s. I have used this service, even though I am not a member of this church, and before I became an Episcopalian, to renew my soul and to renew a right spirit within me, for close to 40 years. It’s the best service, ever. Quiet, dignified, comforting and the absolute best way to spend a lunch there is. My office used to overlook the church and my need for renewal with my Lord, and Maker, my need for my sins to be washed, started me on this journey, and it’s the best journey I have ever been on. I hope I never leave it, and I am so grateful to St. Paul’s for this wonderful service, every week day. I have introduced friends to it, and just recently took a great grand spending fall break with us, to it. He is turning 12 in November and I’m so excited in my heart to know his response was almost the same as mine was in the beginning. I took his mom on several occasions. I have always said prayers with him before I put him and all my other grandchildren to bed, when they were staying with me, and I know the impact this service had on him. I pray St. Paul’s continues this service to all us sinners, that we may stay close with our Maker, His Son, our Redeemer, and Jesus’s Holy Spirit that protects, and guides us daily. What comfort. I have visited twice recently and really soak in a spiritual and meditative mind set. The priest is wise and profound. The church community is very welcoming and friendly. I may just adopt St. Paul's as my official church!!!

Moved Letter here from St. Timothy's, coincidental with move from Signal to downtown. Met nicest folks, who fully understood my inability to hear. I'm rather certain the Sermon was both Spot on and well-received. We Episcopalians are adverse to applauding a Priest's ministrations, otherwise, both would've received a thunderous round of appluse. I've found a new home in St Paul's.

A beautiful and historic church that has three wonderful rectors a great staff to meet all your spiritual needs. It's the first large church I've attended that makes me feel like I'm so at home.

This church is kind enough to host Southside Abby which is a Episcopal church for the homeless. Every Friday St. Paul is gracious enough to host us where we feed the homeless every Friday. We appreciate them for their help!

If you are in to organs they have the biggest in Chattanooga with nearly 90 ranks. If you like the liturgical style of Church then this is a great place to worship. Very beautiful.

I do volunteer work in their basement with a homeless shelter. Nice church,they have a pipe organ,the first time I heard it,it was so beautiful it brought tiers to my eyes.

You will find a very services here,specifically for immigrants, they do ESL program and citizenship program,just contact them,they may provide transportation..
