Chiappini Gulf Station

Perfect pit stop on the way to the beach from Gainesville. Beer, wine, drinks, and snacks to go, Handmade local soaps, a free library out front, and some truly photo-worthy taxidermy (look for the possum!). This family owned corner store is worth supporting and is awesome.

This establishment is a Florida historical landmark. An absolute "must stop at" on the way to Gators games. Love this place. They got whatcha need. Chiappinis surely gets the coveted,
"Boosh Wookie Seal of Approval."

There is nothing like the feeling of Chiappini’s. It’s a whole vibe. 20 years ago I remember taking motorcycle rides to have a beer here. A gas station you can drink a beer at like a bar. I don’t even think they sell gas anymore, but the bar is rocking. There are live bands and food trucks here a lot. Great people, that happy Melrose lake life vibe. I love my trips here every single time.

This is the quintessential small town old country store, the owners run it, wonderful family owned store for me than 80 years! You can buy the coolest stuff here from beer to handmade local goods. Very welcoming people, go there.. you won't be disappointed, if little country mom and pop stores is something you enjoy!

Best people on earth stop and grab a beer grab some bait and listen to some fantastic music in the van shell where you can bring your dog in your lap your cooler and all your friends is the best place on earth and it’s only 26 miles from Gainesville and 55 from Jax! I grew up on Lake Santa Fe in Lake Swan is beautiful there

Small but very nice gas station. Was lost and stopped there for directions. Station owner was very nice and gave me great directions. Made it home in no time.

Love this place and always happy. Sit drink a beer,gas up your car and just sit inside or outside. Pet friendly and people are awesome. Owner and employees are always well worth stopping by to meet them! Melrose is happening and happier with music in our history and lives! Thanks!

Local color...if you pass through Melrose you should make this a stop. Shades of the, 'Corner Store' of Yesteryear...sit at the 4 person bar (if there is a vacant stool) have a draft beer and meet some locals who will be happy to tell you a lie or two

This place has been around for years the most friendliest people you can hang out get you a cold brew and just chill family-owned I'm 60 years old I've been going there since I was 5 years old

A Melrose Landmark. Where else can you fill up your tank, get fishing bait then enjoy a cold drink and live music! An awesomely eclectic little jewel.

I hope this place never changes. Great customer service, great environment and great entertainment. I'm so glad my kids get to grow up with this place.

Chiappini's is Florida's only gas station, convenience store, bar combination and, as such, is a unique place. It is a great place to stop, have a beer and socialize or watch the game. They often have live music on weekends and it is a fun place to hang out. Chiappini's has been in Melrose since 1935 and is part of what makes a interesting and unique town.

Been going there since the 60's. They clean your windows and pump your gas! Such a help when I broke my back. They will be missed.

This place is awesome. The live music is great too. You really have to stop here for the experience.
