Food was pretty good. Will need to come back again to try more menu items. Wife enjoyed her fish.

Blackend grouper,black beans and rice, been driving by for years on weekends all ways packed, So very glad made it a week day It was so very good,35 miles from home but will be back shortly

Coming here was my birthday surprise and the food did not disappoint. We ordered the platter for 2 which is GIGANTIC!!! We were stuffed to the max. The last picture is what we had left! Took 3 To Go plates home worth. Well worth the drive and money. Spent less than $100 with an appetizer and soft drinks!! Happy Birthday to me!

The first impression was the cleanliness. The artwork they had on the walls I noticed was for sale by Artists. Sitting down our waitress was so informative about what fish they had for the day and what fresh catch wasn't in stock. The menu had lots of great food and wasn't overwhelming. This is a true fish town restaurant with a touch of elegance. Definitely 5 stars, Thank you, Blue Water Bay! You are a gem!

The smoked chicken and sausage gumbo was amazingly good. Portion sizes are humongous.They also have yummy sour orange pie. Service was great, prices are fair. Highly recommend

Great find while traveling. Lori was wonderful. Fried green tomatoes, Escargot app, 7 layer salad, bacon turkey wrap and the fries were cooked perfectly. The dessert case was filled with amazing treats! Delicious!

Food was fresh and good omgggggg very friendly atmosphere

Heard lots of good things about this place so we came over from St. Augustine for dinner on a Tuesday evening. Ordered lobster bisque, chopped sirloin, fried green tomatoes, 7 layer salad, fajitas and nachos. LOTS of food and everything was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent and atmosphere was very pleasant. Band was playing in adjacent bar. Not too loud to hold conversations. Definitely will go back!

Delicious food, giant portions! Could use better seating. Needs to be more kid friendly as well on the dining room side. A little pricey. Menu needs photos.

I had a great first experience at Blue Water Bay! The appetizers we chose were definitely rich and creamy, a very indulgent start to a good meal. I liked the crawfish and artichoke dip the best.
The shrimp were exactly what we were looking for. Simple, fresh, and delicious.
We tried the sour orange pie and the Kahlua mousse bomb and they were both really yummy. The table was split on deciding which one was more delicious! Which is always a good sign.
Overall, I think the decor and atmosphere were charming and inviting. We definitely plan to stop by again!

Food is great! Service was even better. They have a great selection of spirits at the bar. Alot of great bourbons. Very clean and friendly local spot!

The food was AMAZING! If you order the platter, though, just know that it can feed at least 4 hungry people lol. The servers were so friendly and kind. Definitely gonna eat here again if I'm in the area in the future.

Went to the Bay for a few drinks and dinner. I sat at the bar and had great service from bartender, Jessica. Ordered the turkey chunks and a salad. Food was very good also.

Great seafood and atmosphere. I want to to try the gourmet buffet. But Thursday nights with the great life acoustic music is very relaxing in the dining area. And The lobster bisque is unbelievable and the shrimp etoufe is excellent as well.

Loved this place! Drove here from Gold Head Campground, and it was worth driving slightly out of the way. My family will definitely be coming back!

Found out about Blue Water Bay from Best Eats in Jax food group and I was not disappointed. There are two side to this quant restaurant. One side is set for traditional dining and the other has booths, tables and a bar with chairs. The restaurant offers full bar service on both sides. The menu offers many traditional brunch and seafood options. We ordered the platter for two, which had shrimp, fish, crawfish, calamari, hushpuppies and French fries. I also ordered a Yellow Bird (cocktail) which was very good. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. The staff was very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this place if in the area or wanna go for a short road trip from Jacksonville.

At the bar next door Ms Allison (the very pretty blonde lady) made my 21st birthday drinks and dinner very special I felt very welcomed by her and her coworkers on April 22nd 2024 the service was absolutely great and the atmosphere was a 100/10 will be returning in the future absolutely recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing evening! the drinks were very yummy I had a very pleasant time 10/10!!
