Pancho & Willie's

This beautiful restaurant is located at the Peppermill hotel and casino in West Nevada, (Wendover) Let's say that on weekends or on event days it is very appropriate to make a reservation, but if you forget, don't worry, they will never say no. The hosts are very friendly, but if you like excellent service, I prefer to ask about the RC waiter, you won't regret it! Incredibly affordable prices and a very varied and delicious menu! I recommend the Molcajete with shrimp, enough for 4 people! And I leave you pictures of a dessert! And assistance in Spanish is available!

This restaurant is inside of the Peppermill Casino. The restaurant is very nice & feels more upscale. The decor is amazing... very nice and comfortable. The food was wonderful & the portions were big. We ordered a large side of guacamole to go with our chips and I ordered the chicken fajitas as my meal. I can't wait to visit again!

Awesome food! I was blown away by the quality of their steaks. It is hands down the best place West and East of the Mississippi to enjoy a fine steak. The margaritas are also top notch. I had the Cadillac and it didn’t disappoint. Excellent staff that will treat you like a king. I highly recommend for family birthdays or even just a weekend get away.

My boyfriend and I decided to try this restaurant during our stay at the Peppermill. Our server was super attentive along with the entire floor staff. The food and drinks were amazing but the kindness of their employees is what made our experience so pleasurable. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing and beautiful with the cactus plants and ambient lighting. I highly recommend trying the Mangonada drink if you do visit.

Favorite place to eat while in Wendover! Their service is top notch, food is ALWAYS served steaming hot and smells amazing!! We always share the molcajetè (small or standard size is definitely more than enough to feed 2 people). You have the option of flour or corn tortillas. They bring delicious mild and spicy salsa out right away. Seriously the BEST place we’ve found here.

Excellent Mexican Restaurant located in a Casino. The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the chicken fajitas. Service was excellent too.

Beautifully decorated! Ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp for an appetizer and they were really good. The habanero salsa with chips was great as well. The fried ice cream is a must. The hubs got a cantarito which he recommends. The service was also great! Will definitely stop by again!

This restaurant is a hidden gem located inside the Peppermill Casino. This was my first time trying this place out and I will definitely be coming back. The atmosphere is wonderful and it makes you forget you're even in a casino. They offer authentic Mexican cuisine in an upscale environment with service that goes above and beyond.

Very good food! All our meals were delicious! Very nice place. Great atmosphere and the decor was top notch! The service was great! One of the high priced places we ate at in Wendover but the quality of the food was amazing!

Enjoyed an enchilada combo plate dinner with a refreshing margarita 🍹 before a great show at the Peppermill Concert Hall! Sry no pic of the plate, was too hungry & spaced it! Chips were good too! 😋 lol Don't forget to make a reservation beforehand! And Enjoy!!

Parked in Wendover for the night, and thought “why not?”
Little more upscale place than I was prepared for, continued on though. (I gotta learn to live outside my comfort zone more... said comfort zone is $10-$15 entree’s, this is 2021, those expectations need to be updated, lol).
The “Macho Burrito” looked good, and smothered, sounded even better. Let the games begin....
Flavor was excellent. Texture, presentation, overall the experience was a 10/10. Will come back again, home is only three hours away, wife likes Casino’s...
The Peppermill and Pancho and Willie’s may become our date night spot.

Food was delicious, especially the chile relleno. My friends both had steaks and loved them. Great chips and salsa. They matter. Even in an upscale restaurant.

Excellent steak cooked perfectly. Salad, veg and potatoes however you like them included in the price, which was very reasonable. Fast friendly service. Recommended.

I've read some less than favorable reviews for Pancho & Willie's, and I have to say... they're wrong! Don't miss the food here just because someone who thinks Taco Bell is Mexican nirvana says it's flavorless, or the service is poor, or it's too expensive... actually, it is a bit spendy (for a Mexican joint), which is disconcerting for a casino restaurant, but it is Wendover, and I suppose they have to make money Sun - Thurs, somehow, as the tables and slots are nearly empty...I kinda like it that way! (Side note: you can make up for the cost of casino dining by booking a room last min (like day of). You're almost certain to find a room of your liking at one of the big 3 (Rainbow, Peppermill, or Montego Bay). For example, a mini suite for about 100 bucks.

Back to Pancho & Willie's; I had the charbroiled Alaskan halibut, and while, admittedly just mildly over cooked, it was quite delicious. It was still relatively moist and perfectly seasoned. I (personally) would've pan seared the halibut before introducing it to the grill, but that's just my personal preference. The halibut includes choice of potato and wonderfully prepared broccoli and whole baby carrots... delicious! My wife had the Gordo platter, which included a chili Verde burrito, a cheese enchilada, and a choice of taco. She enjoyed part of it (as it's a huge platter of food), very much. Enough so that she figured out how to rig a cooler bag using the hotel's ice machine, the plastic ice bucket bag, and the laundry bag (so generously provided to guests, by the hotel), and brought the leftovers all the way home with us. Understand; my wife is a Mexican food snob... in fact, perhaps the queen of Mexican food snobs the world over. So if she saw fit to bring that Mexican food home with her, it must've been good!

We enjoyed 2 appetizers, an entree and a delicious dessert! Our server RC was fantastic! We enjoy getting to know our servers and learning a little about them. We will be back on our next trip through!
