Café Milano

Decent food, the Chorizo breakfast burrito is what I had. Not a bad choice to make at this establishment. Definitely the perfect breakfast location with your mates after an all night bender at the casinos on 2 hours of sleep.

Cafe Milano, had a beautiful atmosphere, was clean and had several menu items to choose from.
Our waiter, Sergio, was kind, and always smiling dispite how busy they were. He was attentive and hard working.
The thing we noticed was that there were only, two, maybe three servers...who were all busy, but Sergio seemed to be the main one. Along with this there were three to four hostesses/clerks, that seemed not to be wanting to do much other than chat amongst each other...they were just there...no apparent interest in the customers or the busy servers.
When you order an alcoholic beverage, the busy waiters/waitresses' had to leave the restaurant, go to one of the casino bars, get the beverages, and bring them to their customers. My question would be why the hostess, given their not being busy, not be able to do this for the servers, as to better customer service and efficiency of the establishment.
There was one gal, whom I believe was a manager, stop by our table to ask how everything was, but it was a fleeting question, with no real eye contact.
The food was nice, and Sergio rocked.

Peppermint club and Philly cheese sandwiches are fabulous!!! I will drive from SLC to Wendover just for lunch! The service was great as well.!!!! Oops! Now the bad! They were great the 1st time but something changed. I went with my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago and we had an angry server who slammed & spilled the beer all over the table. Then the server did the same with my club sandwich. The wasn't toasted, the sandwich didn't have all of the ingredients. When I told the server, he was extremely rude and denied all of the disaster! We'll, we left everything on the table and walked out! The server found us in the casino, apologized and asked us to come back. We did and the food was good. So, tonight, April 25, 2024 my boyfriend went alone. He ordered french dip and said "that was the worst sandwich that I have ever had! It was like chewing beef jerky on bread!". He told the night manager and she just informed him that he isn't the first person to say that about the French dip sandwich. My boyfriend paid $26 for something he couldn't even eat!! Something went south in the cafe and I truly hope it gets fixed! Maybe they need a new cook, manager and server! It's very sad that the place went to hell!!

Its a great place to enjoy breakfast lunch or diner. I got breakfast, loved!

Wow! I had the meatloaf and a side salad and I must say it's the best meatloaf (aside from my wife's of course) I've ever had! 5 stars for certain.

Our server was Emilia she was great she was treated rudely when we were there let’s just say customers don’t be a KAREN especially when you never been a server before! Amazing service! I’ll be back!

I like the price of their prime rib special $14.95. But, just don't order to go! Have a seat and hope your waiter is Demetrio. He is very good. I don't know many waiters that have been in a coma, having a hardship, and is still able to wait on you with an awesome personality. I would not want any one else to serve me now that I've had him serve me.

I am usually impressed beyond expectations but this last visit, we ( myself, fiancee and her cousin)were taken to the very back, passing I asked the server if we could be seated in a booth that was empty, and she either didn't hear me or ignored my request. Anyhow I saw that same booth seated with ONE man in it...other than that the food was marvelous and the second server was more than helpful. So she saved the experience.

Everyone was extremely good at their job. Greeters, service, and i felt the atmosphere was a little cold. We had dinner and breakfast there.

Nice clean Cafe to eat at. Not very busy and our server was very attentive to our needs. We had all you can eat spaghetti and the Taco Salad. Both were very delicious and flavorful. I think they are a little proud of their food by the prices they charged. We just had water to drink cause they wanted about $ 4.50 for a soda. Just under 40 bucks without the tip.

The first time I came here was the best experience. Wonderful staffing, best breakfast I had ever had (even though I ordered something basic) the 2nd time was not as good of an experience, but this will always be my go to place when we are in wendover!

We got sat immediately on a Sunday morning. Spaced far from the nearest people. Service was fast! Chorizo breakfast burrito and corned beef hash were fantastic. Go here for breakfast!

We look forward to the great breakfast there, whenever we go to Wendover. Lucy is the greatest waitress on the planet

I just wanna say !!! After our miserable stay at the peppermill hotel you guys have BY FAR the best prime rib dinner in wendover !! We will make trips to wendover just to have dinner at your restaurant !!! FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY !!! EXCELLENT !!! THX, the delli' s
