My fiancee and I rented a 16ft truck & car dolly from here for my fiancee's move to Maryland. I personally found the place to be OK. They did give us a low mileage truck, with only 35K+ miles on it. The truck was clean, and we loved it. The ladies at the front desk didn't seem to know the trucks well - e.g., they couldn't answer the clearance for the truck well. I would still have given the place 4/5, but I wasn't happy with the dolly. The dolly seemed old, and the platform on the dolly (where the front wheels of the car sit) was not positioned perpendicular to the ramps used to load the car. I asked the guy who gave the dolly to us about this, and he said it will be OK once we loaded the car, but it wasn't. We couldn't load the car in the first place, and had to take the dolly back, and get it straightened out. We lost about 45min doing this. The dolly also seemed to get stuck on the hitch, and it was difficult to detach it.

Called ahead for truck wash service . Got the go ahead . By the scheduled time of my arrival . Wash bay attendant called in sick . Had to go to Decatur .

Horrible location, and dishonest in what they have available in stock. No notification that they didn't have what we ordered. Not using masks or protection while transferring the trucks. The head office was able to refund the order, but there's no professionalism at this office.

This has been the worst Penske experience I've ever had. I made my reservation for a 22ft truck and car hauler approximately 2 weeks in advance with a pick up time of 8 AM. I arrived at my pickup time and they had no car hauler. I was waiting for one to be delivered. The "manager" in the back I'm assuming is sitting there with his door wide open talking in a loud condescending manner to employees. So here we sit awkwardly listening to employees being berated while we're 1.5hrs after our scheduled pick up time. I'm assuming we'll be well past 2 hours post pick up time before we actually get our equipment I paid $1,400 to rent.

By far the most unprofessional office I’ve interacted with. Will not be thought of again. I spoke with Robbie and he was dishonest with what they had and very rude to me when trying to explain what I wanted, horrible experience and doesn’t seem like a people person!
This was at the Madison branch!
