Words cannot express what an amazing experience this was! Adam is a master at hair … truly an artist! He transformed my middle age grey hair into gorgeous. They were sweet, talented, professional and literally will never go to anyone else again .

Kelly, is awesome, fun and talented! She updated my color and honored my interest in keeping my length and growing my hair to accommodate longer hair. She took her time, listened attentively, offering advice and affirmation of what I was looking to achieve. Since my appointment, I've received many compliments on my hair color! Often from total strangers. Shelby and Brittany, were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to provide excellent client service. This salon is warm and welcoming and that is reflected in their staff and stylists. I'm very happy with my experience.

This is hands down the best salon I have been to. The color and cut I received from Adam exceeded all of my expectations. He took the time to listen to what I wanted, and he helped me transform my look completely (from long to short hair, as well as a correction from a bad hair color to uniquely beautiful colors). He offered his expert guidance on both the cut and color (per my request), and I was thrilled with the results--my hair looks and feels better than it ever has! Adam is a true artist who provides excellent and attentive service. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants to be pampered while receiving a world-class hairstyle!

First time here. Off the bat, the receptionist was so kind and seemed happy to work where she does. Then, Nicole made me feel so comfortable and welcome! I had a terrible box dye and disaster prior salon hair dye from another place— I had little faith going in as I have NEVER had a good hair dying experience before. My hair always turns brassy and orange regardless of color I choose. I am getting married in less than a week, and I was in crunch mode! She assured me I was in good hands and she did an amazing job, in a reasonable amount of time!, Unlike other stylists, she devoted the entire appointment to me and I never felt rushed. She was easy to talk to (and I never like talking with stylists because I’m very shy)!
It was a great experience and I can’t thank her enough! Although she is very new to the parlor (and so am I) I feel like she represented what this company is all about—customer service above all else. I will definitely be coming in again! Her professionalism and skill is refreshing:)

I had a great haircut from Wendy! My hair is very bone straight and she did a great job layering it so it flows nicely. She also did a super job on my highlights. The salon is very pleasant and the staff is gracious. I would recommend Bolder Colours for your next haircut.

I wanted to find an excellent stylist who I can trust and I found Kelly Ford who came highly recommended. Kelly knew exactly what I wanted and delivered! Kelly’s artistic quality and experience is extraordinary. She really takes her time to listen and is very professional and well spoken. The salon environment is high end and the owner James is very kind and gracious. You earned my loyalty. Ask for Kelly you’ll be amazed .

My child and I have both visited Bolder Colours in the past month and had the same wonderful experience getting our hair cut and colored. Everyone makes you feel welcome from the moment you step in the door. There is a camaraderie among the staff that just creates a friendly atmosphere all around. Our stylist, Adam, took the time to listen and understand what we wanted for our hair and made it happen beautifully! He is truly an artist at what he does. I met with Jennifer to have her cut my hair. She will also be doing my hair for my wedding in December so it was a chance for us to meet. She did an awesome job with my hair. I have naturally curly hair and have had bad experiences in the past with people not knowing how to cut it. I loved my hair when she was done! And I look forward to having her do my hair for my wedding. She's super nice and easy to talk to.

Hailey did an AMAZING job on my hair!! I am a bit of a mess when it comes to hair care and she walked me through products to use, the process of bleaching my hair, and truly took the time to get me exactly where I wanted to be with my platinum hair!!! Adam and Lexi are absolute magicians! For months I had dreamed about having silver streaks in my hair and achieving a salt-and-pepper look. Everywhere I went I was disappointed by the consultation, either the process they would use would've completely fried my hair (I have pitch black hair) or their cost of services would've been huge (I was estimated $800 by one woman). As soon as I walked in I was absorbed into an environment that exudes charisma, professionalism, and high-end talent. Adam & Lexi meticulously worked my hair and achieved the exact look that I wanted. The process left my hair feeling healthy and I am still in awe at the mastery I saw at work! Cannot recommend them enough! If you aren't going to Adam & Lexi, you're making a mistake.

After meeting with Jennifer for a consultation, I felt very confident she could fix a post covid lock down treatment I had at another salon which was not a success to say the least. When I returned home after my appointment with Jennifer, my 24 year son , unsolicited, said my hair color never looked so good and it made me look younger. Jennifer did a fantastic job . I have had my hair colored at some of the best salons in Chicago and hands down, Jennifer has given me the the most beautiful hair.

I recently moved to Boulder, and am thrilled to have found Bolder Colours and Amelia. I am very pleased with my color and cut - it is the best I have had for many years since a move from NYC several years ago. The salon is very pretty and comfortable, and the owner and receptionist are both warm, welcoming and genuine. They have a fabulous list of teas to enjoy while you are in the chair! I highly recommend the salon and Amelia.

I’ve gone to a few stylists in Boulder and the surrounding area, Hailey has them all beat! I’m pretty indecisive, so I had a quick consultation first. Hailey helped me focus in on a cut and flash balayage that complimented a previous color that was growing out. I was so impressed with how healthy my hair looked after the appt, not to mention the style. Glad I no longer have to hunt for a salon or stylist! :D

I had such a great experience at Boulder Colours formally Paul Morrison Colours. It started with such a great phone call with James the owner who is so sweet and kind. He stocks his salon with such great yummy products. He also has the sweetest and kindest staff. As I walked into the salon with the doors open allowing the Boulder fresh mountain breeze inside the salon. Very clean and tidy was the lobby I entered from 15th street. I was greeted by Shaina with such a warm welcome. I just waited a few minutes and Amelia my stylist was ready to see me. We talked a little about what I was not liking about my current style and what I was hoping to accomplish and we got right to work. The shampoos and conditioning creams smelled wonderful and Amelias care was genuinely great! We finished with a great cut and color. I love my hair 😍 it's perfect for spring and it's very low maintenance. As I had requested and Amelia delivered. Thank you Boulder Colours for such a great experience!

My first experience at this salon earlier this week was 100% positive. From the appointment setting, to followup and respect of my time that I haven't experienced in the few salons I have tried in Boulder/Denver.

The stylist, Emily, did a great job of discovering my needs, how much effort I want to put into my hair daily and fixing the previous butcher hair cut I had received earlier this fall from a different salon.

I would recommend Emily and Paul Morrison in a heartbeat. Overall, I am excited to be starting a long relationship with this salon.

Angela Schiller does an amazing job with my highlights - she really listens to what you want and always provides good suggestions. Emily Ryan recently gave me a great haircut. I have only had positive experiences here. Recently, I came in to get a haircut with one stylist and asked about doing some complicated color and she referred me to another stylist there. Both the cut and the color were phenomenal and I think it's awesome for stylists to "share" clients when they know one of their colleagues would be a better match for the job. Both listened to what I wanted and gave me a good idea of what could and could not be done given my hair texture (cut) and color issues and gave me gorgeous healthy-looking hair. Not only that, but all the staff was attentive and friendly. Yes yes yes!

I have worked with several stylists at Bolder Colours - each is expert in their craft! Just had Hailey highlight, color correct and tone my waist length blond hair and she did a fabulous job! The salon has a great vibe!
