Country Bay Bistro

I popped into Country Bay Bistro for brunch today and was immediately impressed by the welcoming vibe and charming decor. The service and food truly elevated the experience. I chose the corned beef brisket, which was not only beautifully presented but also exceptionally tender. Additionally, the fact that it's a family-owned and operated business added a special touch. I thoroughly enjoyed my brunch and am eagerly looking forward to returning for their seafood boil.

Seafood & steak galore! We had the New York strip & Shrimp platter, both were excellent. Beer was served in a beautiful glass beer mug. Our waitress shared a story about a mug being stolen & returned by a Sherriffs Deputy. Good service, when we visited for lunch at Noon.

My wife and I were looking for somewhere new to try and were reeled in by the “Now Open” sign. The seafood boil was great. Craig was our server and had several superb recommendations of how to really enhance the meal (I wouldn’t have thought to add broccoli on my own - game changer). Thanks for your expertise Craig! My wife greatly enjoyed her shrimp Po-boy sandwich and their fries are addicting. The food was hot, everything was fresh and well presented. Five stars. -Bryce M.

The atmosphere is great, so the experience is nice from the start. Good music and decor/lighting.
The price for what you get is very low. The shrimp in the country boil are just lovely acne perfectly cooked. The garlic butter is insanely good!
Portion sizes are good.
Service is cheerful and attentive.
There are free peanuts, and shelling them entertained my toddler the entire time we were there. He loved the paper on the table to color on as well.

We came in at 8:00 they closed at 9:00 our service was wonderful! The food was fresh,well prepared,and well presented!

We popped in and got our shrimp po boys to go because we were in a hurry. I can't wait to go back and sit down to enjoy some sea food. The building has a new name on it, though, for anyone who is looking. It says Country Bay Bistro.

We had Shawna as a waitresses for my birthday lunch, table of 11. She was so amazing and the food was fantastic! Crab heaven. Thank you for making my birthday great Shawna! She even made me special garlic bread which is not on the menu, Shawna got creative and came up a plate of the best garlic bread I have ever had. I will be back for sure!

I have been wanting to come for some seafood so today I pulled the plug and came! Walking in they have really jazzed up the place with pretty old country style decor. From the candelabras to the wine bottle lights, the decor from front to back is just pretty! I ordered the treasure seafood boil. It came with snow crab legs, clams and shrimp. It came out piping hot, coated with Cajun sauce all over it!! The potatoes were cooked perfectly, nice and soft! The corn was sweet and when dipped in the sauce it was the perfect combo of sweet and savory. The crab legs were fresh. The shrimp was nice and firm. The clams were tasty. I did find speckles of sand but it was no big deal. Service was great! Shauna was by server and she did a fantastic job. I initially was excited about their all you can eat which is on their menu. Found out it's only Monday and Tuesdays. Overall it was a great meal! A good local seafood joint to support!

We stopped by for dinner on a Wednesday night, not knowing what to expect. I got the sizzling platter with sirloin. The vegetables were sizzling, and seasoned perfectly. The steak was done right and my baked potato was huge! So, good and Craig took great care of us

Country Bay Bistro in Boise, Idaho, is a delightful gem! The warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious menu make every visit a treat. Their fresh ingredients and unique dishes shine, especially the homemade desserts. A must-try for any food lover!

Staying in Boise for work nearby so was easy to walk over and give it a try. I had no idea it was newly open, and under a new name I wasn’t disappointed! Jarom was quick to explain my questions about the All You Can Eat menu, and provided excellent service! I’m traveling back to Boise multiple times this year and will for sure be back!

Have been numerous times and never been disappointed, not upset with the switch over at all ! Food is amazing and same with the service Craig has been our server the past 3 times we went and we always leave with a smile ! 100% recommend :))

GUMBO !!!! It was delicious. I was looking for fish and chips which they also serve Flounder. Three pieces of fish and chips. When I first heard about oh crab I thought it would be very expensive. For what I had this afternoon very inexpensive and very delicious and I will be going back again. They have affordable prices for there seafood boil packages. You have to check it out very clean very nice.
CHECK OUT their Buffet on Wednesdays and Thursdays it may seem like much but it's all you can eat.

I had the cod dinner (fried fish but not greasy) and the hubby had the cod po boy. They were both fantastic! Great presentation. Craig our waiter was very attentive. The people behind us were very happy with their meal especially the oysters! We would come back.

Very nice atmosphere, great staff, and cool decorations. Had the O' Crab Hatch combo boil (which is the most expensive and largest boil) with red potatoes, corn, sausage, muscles, shrimp, snow crab, with the garlic butter sauce . It was amazing. We split among two people but could have had two more people for the amount of food received. I really enjoyed how they placed it in a large pan so that you could dip everything in the sauce versus some other locations that dump it out all over the table.

After the discovery of the change of the name we walked into an invincible phase of business. Cindy was our server and did not disappoint at all. She was on top of it, something a lot of businesses lack this day and age. Polite and enjoyable. My husband and I will no doubt be back as the food was wonderful. I just can not say enough good about this place and Cindy made our experience over the top. Thank you to her for her outstanding service. ❤

O Crab is the same quality of food and experience as Hook and Reel except you get 50%+ more for every dollar spent. All the food pictured here was $78. We enjoyed it!

Apparently the Idaho government hasn’t issued a liquor license despite O Crab applying. Hopefully the government will grant a license so the restaurant can add a fresh Bloody Mary to the menu.

Loved everything about it. It was a clean place. Our waitress was genuine and not that over the top fake friendly. And funny we truly enjoyed her. Thanks Michelle!
The food was amazing. Exactly what we were looking for. Oh and the Dungeness crab was *chefs kiss* 🤌 husband and I shared the 55$ meal and added noodles. And even brought home enough to be a whole other meal for the both of us. Can't wait to go back!
