I had the pleasure of teaching a seminar and rolling with these great people. Seth and Hilary have built something beautiful in such a short time. Great vibe excellent instruction and amazing students. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Every part of my experience at Pirate BJJ and with Coach Seth was positive. I found out I was traveling to the area for work and started looking at gyms to train at. I reached out and got a response right away. When I showed up Seth was super welcoming. I trained for the week and learned some stuff I’d never seen before. Seth is a very knowledgeable instructor, cares about his students, and is a challenging roll. There was a good mix of belts and skill levels, and the entire atmosphere was very positive and a lot of fun. If you’re just visiting or live in the area, I highly recommend giving Pirate BJJ a shot, you won’t be disappointed.

My daughter just started here a couple weeks ago and she absolutely loves it! She was very apprehensive the first class but coach Seth made sure to make her feel welcome and showed her the ropes. I love that they play games with the kids for the last 10min so they can bond and have fun while doing conditioning. If you are on the fence come and try the free one week trial.

Coach Seth is an awesome BJJ instructor! I’ve been training with him for a while now, and he’s really good at what he does.

Coach Seth has top pressure for days. Very knowledgeable and personable in instruction. Tons of class times, and great kids classes.  Best place we have been to in the area.

Both my 8 and 9 year old boys attend Pirate BJJ. I’m no expert on BJJ, but I know a good teacher when I see one. You can tell coach Seth really loves sharing his knowledge. He has a no nonsense teaching approach that the kids really respond to. Really happy taking the boys here.

I love this place! Tons of room, both kid and adult classes. I attend the afternoon No Gi class regularly, and open mat. I love the class times for my work schedule. Seth is a fantastic Jiu Jitsu teacher. He cuts to the core of teaching critical concepts and enforcing them with various "game" play and techniques. Everything he teaches is useful for your entire BJJ journey, no fluff or filler.

My daughters and son LOVE this gym. Great atmosphere & instructor. They are learning a ton about BJJ but also showing more respect. So glad to have found this place.
