Each visit, I find the chef's special of the day to be consistently exceptional. The food is always of high quality and exceeds expectations. Additionally, the atmosphere is impeccably maintained, and the drinks are delicious, further enhancing the overall dining experience. 5 🌟 Star.

Visiting in Sanibel and decided to take a small trip to Pineland. Came across Tarpon Lodge Restaurant. Beautiful old style Florida lodge with a lovely restaurant and amazing food. Our server, Debra, was so helpful and guided us with our selections. I splurged on the Caramel flan for desert and it was by far the best I’ve had yet! Not sure if it was the whole experience and meal that made it such a good top off or if it was truly that amazing! Probably a combo of both! Maybe it was the Sangria, which, by the way was very good! Not crazy sweet! We will definitely be back and maybe snag a room for a night or two!

The Tarpon Lodge is old Florida as it used to be. The property is beautiful and the sunset along with the breeze was amazing!!

Dinner was very good. I had the triple tail and it was delicious 😋. My only preference would have been to eat inside in the dining room. Even though there was air conditioning it was considerably warm in the patio area.

Hidden gem! I've spoken with several people from SWFL, and only a couple had ever heard of this place. Including a couple of people who were born here. The atmosphere is great! The service was spot on. The place had a very old school vibe. My wife had the shrimp and grits, and I had the triple tail fish special. All the food was excellent! Highly recommend this place. It's also got a great view of the water and sunset!

A good place for a nicer meal or for a special occasion and it is a bit pricey. The ambience is so pretty and it has a gorgeous sunset view. Loved that they offer mocktails! The charcuterie board was just so good!

What brings us back to this place over and over again is the views! SWFL charm through and through! The food is always fantastic and very consistent. I ordered the shrimp and grits this time with the blue crab and corn chowder soup as a side. This chowder is FANTASTIC! I could hardly share with my husband it was so good, sweet and so savory. Forget the cup, go with the bowl! It’s he shrimp and grits were so good I forgot to take pictures. Just cheesy enough to not over power the shrimp flavor. High five to the chef. The food is more pricy, however you know it’s going to be good and consistent so it’s worth it. The staff is extremely professional and patient. This is a restaurant for a romantic date or a celebration. I’ve also gone here for a wedding! Yes it’s that beautiful! Totally recommend a sunset timeframe as you can see from the pictures.

Loved it. Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Had the fresh catch, triple tail. Enjoyed the views at sunset. Need to make a reservation, which we had. Earliest dinner seating is at 5pm.

First time having a meal at the Tarpon Lodge Restaurant. The food was clean, fresh and delicious. Service was excellent. The atmosphere was going back in time. Felt like Florida used to be.

One of the best meals we’ve had in swfl. I’ve been craving the bruschetta since we left. Love the history of the building and views also. We will be back often.

One of our few repeat restaurants during our short stay and have recommended to others who loved it as well. Lovely atmosphere, like elevated farmhouse style. The deconstructed bruschetta was great.. Both times I've ordered the gresh fish, triple tail, this time in a slightly sweet green curry - delicious. The shrimp and grits were a favorite. Good for a casual dinner with friends or a couple.

Delicious, fresh fish. Nice atmosphere. Really liked the smoked fish dip app too! Key lime pie was also on point :-)

We just stopped by for a drink, this is a hidden gem. Quaint and quiet! We will definitely go back for dinner next time we down that way.

Everything was excellent down to the last detail. Loved the crab soup and catch of the day. Service was on point and environment was very perfect for date night. We will definitely be back

we had a wonderful evening at the Tarpon Lodge. Everything was excellent. the waitress, the food and the area. no complaints at all. the waitress gave good recommendations concerning the courses to eat and the corresponding wine. the patio was closed as it was too hot outside. we had a table without an ventilation above us. So it was not windy at all. (Europeans are not used to a draft)

Rocky, the bartender, is Awesome !!! All the staff is very friendly!! My filet mignon with pomegranate sauce was Amazing and so was the triple tail special !! And the chocolate martini for dessert was so yummy 😋 We'll definitely be back !!

This was my first time visiting Tarpon Lodge and it was wonderful . We arrived early, so we headed down to the water to view the spectacular sunset (which was absolutely stunning that evening). After that we headed up to the lodge for dinner. Once we were seated we were offered a bread board with delicious whipped butter. I ordered the arugula, beet and goat cheese salad with the crabcake topper and my dinner companions got the beef entrees and Chicken Francais. All were outstanding and at a very reasonable price point; including the ambiance and stellar service. Dessert was equally yummy as we shared caramel cheesecake, creme brulee and keylime pie. All were just the perfect ending to a delicious dinner experience. I highly recommend!

What a cute quaint place, it is a whole experience that I highly recommend. The grounds are so well kept and the employees make the experience so amazing and one of a kind. The history is fascinating and the sunset views are to die. There are villas available that are pet friendly. The restaurant is phenomenal and make sure you save room for dessert! The bar is so intimate, and the drinks are delish...highly recommend putting this on your travel bucket list!

This place is absolutely beautiful! The photos online do not show the entire beauty. We went here for our anniversary and it was so romantic and we sat at the beautiful dock for a sunset.

Best meal I've had in a long time. We enjoyed the triple tail and crab stuffed shrimp. Watched the sunset with an after dinner drink from the dock. Great service.

The Tarpon Lodge Restaurant is a great place to enjoy a meal with an old Florida feeling. Service is consistently timely, friendly and overall great. The food is delicious and the presentation is excellent. The grounds are perfect for a walk with a view after the great meal. I highly recommend trying a meal here.
