A very interesting and peaceful tour. Steve showed us each part of the farm - especially the perennials. They have fruits and nuts and herbs. The farm isn’t manicured, but is well managed. Then he caps it off with a tasting of the many cordials that Steve makes in his very clean processing facility. Each has some medicinal and taste benefit. We bought several bottles and are enjoying them regularly.

Last summer I missed St Steve’s at the farmers market so I was excited to learn about their farm store. I was even more excited to learn they offer tours of Mud Lake Farm. It was a fascinating and engaging tour to learn about environmentally responsible farming which leads to such amazing products.

I had no idea how much I liked chamomile.
The ginger beer is pretty much my favorite beverage. It is a perfect balance of sweet and spice.
Pineapple sage soda…wow
The sparkling beverages are also great and my pantry is stocked with cordials for cocktails.

This farm and their products are an absolute gem. Couldn’t more highly or enthusiastically recommend.

Update: I just had the sparkling lavender water. Spectacular!

We really enjoyed our tour of the farm with Steve, complete with the opportunity to taste some of the flowers and leaves that go into their product. What a treat to learn about this family farm and the history of the St Steve's business. The cordial tasting was such a treat!

The tour was great! It was so neat to see the plants that the teas and cordiales are made of and learn about the geothermal and carbon-nuetral heating systems. My favorite part was either learning about the way the clean their wastewater using the natural process of wetland plants, or getting to smell and taste the different herbs and flowers. And, trying a bunch of cordiales at the end! Very worth it!

Fell in love with the Elderflower soda and was happily surprised with how local the farm is, so we decided to visit! We had a wonderful time learning about the various plants raised for all the different sodas, cordials, and teas offered. It was beautiful, and at the end we got to taste some of the cordials. We also got our own drink to try, and I'm not much of a root beer fan, but my partner is and we can both agree it's our favorite! ;) I am obsessed with the earthiness and freshness in every sip, and you can taste all the care that goes into each.

The Mud Lake Farm Tour & Tasting - a fabulous experience if you have the slightest entrepreneurial bone in your body. As a consumer of cordials and sodas, their recipes/selections are tweaked to perfection. We bought a lot of goodies to take home for ourselves and for gifts!

Steve and Kris are always seeking to perfect their processes/products and the methods use to deliver them. Their knowledge of how things grow and their backgrounds/experience gives them the ability keep their operation producing a wide variety of in-demand products.

You won't find a more exciting and interesting business to tour. I wish we were able to spend more time or at least live close enough to volunteer time on their farm!

It's great to know that they don't use harmful chemicals to manage their greenhouse and field operations and they are able to ship their products anywhere!

We had a wonderful tour of the place and are very impressed with the way Kris and Steve grow the ingredients they need in such a responsible way.

We loved the sodas, teas, cordials, dressings and lettuces - they were delicious!

Now we are introducing the cordials we brought home to our friends and family.

If you are expecting the sodas to taste like normal store-bought sodas, you will be disappointed. They have their own flavor. But if you are expecting something delicious and different, you may be very happy with your decision.

Tried their root beer months ago at a deli shop in GR and really enjoyed it. Enjoyed it so much I look for it every time I go back and am elated when I see it’s a stocked! It’s nice and light with a complexity of flavors I haven’t yet found in a root beer. I say give it a try, if you love it, keep supporting a local business trying to bring quality ingredients to its consumers. If you don’t, move on to the next one because there’s plenty of root beer to fit everyone’s *personal* tastes.

Made a road trip from east side of the state. Well worth the drive. The sodas are delicious! The owner was kind enough to give us a tour of the farm, love what they’re doing. Grown without herbicides or insecticides. Also, purchased a bag of their lettuces they grow hydroponically, made a fresh salad at home. Enjoyed the salad and it wasn’t bitter. We will make the trip again.

Picked up their Elderflower Soda from a local grocery store. It's light and floral, with the faintest hint of bitterness. As someone who doesn't like things too sweet, it was delicious! I appreciate the use of farm fresh ingredients here. Will definitely be buying more!

We went on the farm tour and it was incredible. We tested a lot of the flavors straight from the trees and bushes and then the final products which were all delicious. Highly recommended!

I walked past their table at our local farmer's market in Holland and was intrigued by the selections of syrups and sodas! The representative working the table was very friendly and the drinks that I purchased were reasonably priced. The St. Steve's Ginger Soda is my new favorite!

We feel so lucky to have these delicious, fresh, local greens and herbs grown so near. The lettuces, micro-greens and herbs are something we order weekly for pickup conveniently at Art of the Table in our neighborhood. And, we enjoy adding the cordials to all sorts of cocktails, too. Thank you Mud Lake Farm!!

After enjoying their sodas I got a tour from a friend who works there. I also had a chance to meet Kris and Steve, who own the farm.
