Mt Asian

Happy to have this restaurant in Mt Airy where I can get actual Chinese food made by Chinese people! You can tell the authenticity by how homey the place is and the family members of the staff that come and go. This place is much cleaner than the last one. The lady at the desk was very helpful and gave some recommendations to make sure I got something worthwhile. Food came quick and was so delicious. They pack a lot of food in the containers! You can tell by the photos that there really is a lot in each container that gets squished down. It's definitely good quantity and quality for the cost. You can select which sauces you want and how many.
If you want, you can sit in the restaurant or eat on the nice picnic table outside. Supporting local businesses means supporting local families, so I'm happy to go here as opposed to big chain fast food places. Will definitely come again.

The woman was so lovely. When I got there to pick up our order, she was making sure all of the packages were perfectly folded and orderly. The food was amazing, you could tell there was great attention to detail. It’s the only food all of the kids will eat until it is gone! We love this place ❤

Good food. Was a big fan of the sesame chicken. The broccoli to chicken ratio was perfect.

Piece of advice: if you do a pick up order and want duck sauce, ask for it. It will not automatically be put in.

One thing I'd love to see there: sesame tofu.
For those of us who don't want to share our sesame sauce or sesame veggies with vegetarians.

My husband and I have gotten dinner here a handful of times and their tofu has always been nice. Tonight I tried their veggie lo mein, requested it to be spicy, and it was absolutely delicious! Very spicy, nice crunchy veggies and just perfectly delicious. My husband also always goes with their general tsos chicken and loves that it’s dark meat. Anytime we pick up the woman at the front is always pleasant as well. Hope to continue supporting Mt Asian for a long time!

Ordered multiple times and multiple different options with no complaints! Quality of food is much better than the others we have tried in town and the size if servings fir the price can't be beat. Friendly service, orders always ready for pickup on time, orders are always correct, and food is hot and good.

Great food at very affordable prices. Ordered the beef+broccoli+fried rice dinner special. The food was ready quickly. Portions are generous, and the beef was very savory and tender. One of the best Chinese places in the area.

Friendly staff and the restaurant was very clean inside. Family owned as well - support small businesses!

Highly recommend this spot for good quality, authentic food. The staff members were super helpful, kind, and ensured I was pleased with my meal. The attention to detail given that it’s a family-run business makes this restaurant stand apart from others. I’m looking forward to returning soon!

We just ordered two different meals off the
dinner menu, as well as an order of crab meat wontons.

They look like they are going to have a nice online
menu to order from, however we did run into a
glitch, with it saying not available when we
tried to use it.

I am sure they will get those kinks worked out soon.

We can’t eat all of this. HOWEVER, we are extremely impressed. My sesame chicken is amazing. The house fried rice is amazing. Everything is great! I’m going to struggle with not letting my wife get this at least once week!

Delicious food! I particularly love the egg drop soup, and my partner loves the sesame chicken. They can accommodate gluten free needs- specify when you place the order and they will tell you what can be made gf :) Great to see this place opne in Mt. Airy!

Food is great! Our order came out on time and was all correct. There was a bit of a line in there when we walked in though to pick up the food; seems there’s a bit of an issue with their online order system. We called and placed our order over the phone and had no issues. Will definitely be back!

Recomiendo mucho este restaurant :) la comida estuvo súper rica. Los won ton rellenos y el general tso' chicken fueron mis favoritos, I can't wait to try the whole menu. Go and order your food to take out and you can enjoy it with your family or just you at home watching a movie. Go go go!

I’m confused by the two reviews complaining about the taste. Since moving to Mount Airy, my family has tried plenty of Chinese restaurants around and couldn’t find one we liked… until we stumbled upon Mt Asian. We tried it out last week & loved it! Speaking of Mt Asian, after I hit submit on this 5 star review, I’ll be hitting submit on my Mt Asian dinner order!

Tried this place for the first time tonight. Excellent customer service and very tasty food.

Not exactly a dine in choice..terrific food though.
Beef and broccoli, fried rices, general tso.

First time here got szechuan beef and Singapore noodles everything was great just spicy enough, portion were good sized. Will be back.

Great food, simple but delicious! Very clean environment and courteous staff. Will definitely revisit soon!
