Francesca’s Brick Oven Pizzeria

This is the only pizza place downriver I ever really crave. Nice chewy flavorful crust with nice amount of sauce that’s not overly sweet ( which I hate about most downriver pizza) and not too much cheese and toppings.

This place serves amazing pizzas. Thin crusts with a bit of "chew" to them that taste fantastic, g eat Ingredients thoughtfully paired to make delicious pizzas. The sauce is simple crushed tomatoes with all the flavor of summer shine in each bite.

They told us that they are expanding the dining area which will be a major improvement as the only one downside right now is the limited seating. And that's no problem if you grab your pies to go.

Don't overlook the salads which are ample and full of flavor themselves.

Consistently the best pizzeria in the state! My go to is the double halal pepperoni with jalapeños! Today I had that and their limited edition Dubai chocolate 🍫 pistachio pizza and it was out of this WORLD!!!

We thought this was a pizzeria; something dark and very brown. We pulled up and were kinda taken back as it's very bright white and cool grey inside. Well. That was a surprise. Not pleasantly, not unpleasant just a surprise.

We were greeted and sat ourselves. We ordered and the pizza came out pretty fast. That was a pleasant surprise. Our server was also taking orders at the counter. She was super friendly. All the staff was. They came around to check often, offered us a house wine to sample. Always smiling but never in that super fake 'im smiling because we made eye contact way' they are genuinely happy to be serving.

The food, wow. The pizza was so delicious. This is some of the best pizza we've ever had. Hands down. The crust is just crispy with the chewy inside. The toppings are flavorful and fragrant. Even through my stuffy nose the fresh basil was cutting through. We had a Veggie pizza, I forget it's name, and cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Each had its own unique flavor. I've never tasted anything like that. Normally pizza is pizza with the added flavor of its toppings. Each of these was unique. It was a treat to claim my dad-tax as I stole a slice from the kids to taste the different pies.

The tables are small. Not gonna lie about that. The chairs aren't the most comfy either, but they work. That said, we had such an amazing experience with the pizza the chairs didn't matter. We came with a family of 5; myself and my wife and our 3 kids. We managed with the table size.

I've been thinking about this pizza since we had it earlier in the week. It's so good. The sauce, oh, just the right blend. Not a sweet sauce at all, with the sugar added. Nope. It's tangy and savory and compliments everything. The tomatoes are intentionally selected to maintain a flavor profile (we talked to the chef) and compliment the rest of the pie. Each pizza is crafted with love, this was made very clear when we stopped to talk to the chef on our way out. His passion shines through and you can taste it in each bite.

The next day the crust gets a little chewier but the flavors are still there. Perfect. It's such an amazing pizza experience. If you're a pizza snob you'll love Francesca's.

Stopped in late this afternoon for a carry out. I was immediately greeted once inside, and this place is sparkling clean inside. Young lady at counter provided a couple order suggestions, but I went with “make your own” pizza.

It was done in what seemed no time — it couldn’t have even been 15 minutes, likely only 10. This concerned me b/c I asked for the pizza to be a little overdone, on dark side. Once home, I opened it up & it was a little dark just like I had asked. It was perfect really — tasty & delicious. Will be back!

Have had this pizza a few times. Placed an order tonight, got there to pick it up, and it wasn’t even started - the computer never printed it out, but the guy and girl working in the front were nice about it and the guy made it in a quick 5 Min. This pizza is so good. The best is in NYC, next best pizza is here. Those sweet succulent lil’ cuppies.

Really great pizza! Fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection! Everyone is super nice. Francesca herself is so sweet, I got to watch her interact with customers while I waited for my order. Also she was back there helping anywhere she could which was great to see.

As if you didn't need another reason to get some Italian style brick oven pizza 🤤 It reminded me of the exact pizza experience I received in ITALY 🇮🇹 which is SO important to being different in such a market full of American style pizza. This pizza is best eaten HOT fresh out the oven so we ate the whole box before getting home 🤭 You surely wont regret it, fresh ingredients, friendly staff, authentic crust and taste (some american twist of course to suit the crowds), and importantly made with LOVE!

Authentic Italian Pizza! Margherita pizza is a must! I've tried Italian pizza in newyork and Chicago, and this one did not disappoint. So glad to have found about this pizza place in Michigan.

Owner Francesca is super nice and customer service is excellent! We called ahead of time and pizza was ready when we arrived. Location is Clean and organized. Seating is somewhat limited but they'll accommodate you.

Definitely give it a try if you're in the area or if craving for authentic Italian pizza. You won't be disappointed.

Best pizza I've had in a very long time. Good pizza, from dough to char to sauce to toppings, is so hard to come by. INCREDIBLY thankful to the folks at Francesca's for filling the pizza-shaped void in my soul. 🍉🍉🍉

Decided to order a pizza from Francesca’s Brick Oven Pizza in Woodhaven, Mich. This place is not even 15 min away, very convenient for us. Phone answered by a most pleasant and polite young woman and gave her our order and she told us 20 min. Husband arrived there and it was just being taken out of the oven. We had ordered a large Woodhaven Warrior well done and much to our delight we got 10% off the price because of a special they were having. You can dine in if you prefer and the parking lot is plenty big. Our pizza was still hot when husband walked in the door and perfectly cooked well done. It had ample toppings and cheese and was just delicious. Sorry, forgot to take a picture, too busy chowing down. First time here and all I can say was that was a 10/10. Food was so delicious and staff were so nice and welcoming. I had a baby with us and they were so kind and provided and wiped down car seat. I also noticed the staff is constantly wiping things down and maintaining a clean atmosphere. I loved that!!

Excellent customer service. Food was great. My wife and I got the Vesuvio and caprese salad. We went at the perfect time they let us sample February's chicken parm sandwich!! Best Chicken parm I've ever had. Chicken cutlet perfectly thin with the perfect amount of breading. Excited to have a new pizza spot!

1000/10 recommend very good food and all the staff was really nice and owners are amazing and such hard working this was our first time here and we will be back!

First impressions: the place is modern, and extremely clean - this includes the unisex bathroom. My wife and I dined in. We were instantly greeted by a young blonde who smiled from ear to ear. She constantly checked on us to ensure we did not need anything. She was attributed with interpersonal skills that are a rare commodity in today’s American society. The food was FANTASTIC. This was our first time here and will not certainly be our last. Can’t wait for more.

My boyfriend & I came here to celebrate his birthday (he loves pizza) and we were SO pleased with our food! We ordered the cheese bread to share, he ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza and I ordered the Margherita Pizza - everything was phenomenal and full of flavor & authenticity.
