Van Lin Orchards

Loved everything about our visit to your orchards. The pumpkins were affordable and fun to pick! The apples are large and juicy! The organic apple cider was my favorite part along with the two ponies. I hope to come back year after year.

If you’ve seen a previous review of mine I commented about how I was illegally denied access with my service dog and was treated very disrespectfully by an employee there but I would like to give an update on that and change my rating of Van Lins.

I got in contact with the owner Rick, and he was very nice, understanding and apologized for what happened. He educated the employee that I dealt with that what she did wasn’t okay and he invited my service dog and I back to the orchard and we will be going next week. The issue was resolved and I’m very happy to have been able to discuss this with him and have the situation resolved.

Delicious apples, amazing prices, Rick is a great guy. Bought four bushels of seconds and are very impressed by quality! Thanks Rick!

Wonderful Apple picking. Much less crowded than orchards nearer the Twin Cities, many of which don’t let you pick your own. Packaged 1sts and 2nds also available with great quality at a reasonable price, for those not up to picking their own. The free corn maze was a fun activity for our boys. Enjoyable talking to the owner. One of our favorite orchards.

Rick ID'd an apple from my backyard that I'd lost track of and took me on a quick tour of some of his varieties that are ripe now.
