A good place to put in your boat, as most ramps are. A dock is included. There is also beach access (no lifeguard) with a nice view of the Mississippi.

Nice place to visit upon crossing the Mississippi River coming from Wisconsin. My sister enjoyed touching the Mississippi River water. Thank You!

Where the road meets the river, excellent for launching a boat, or viewing the river

It's a nice boat ramp but you have to pay to park there. Most people just park on the main road and walk down to the water.

Terrible boat ramp. There is plenty of parking near the boat ramp, but it is permit only. Not sure what they are trying to accomplish by this, seems like a case of NIMBY if there ever was one. You have to park very far away and walk down a steep hill. The ramp itself is sand and very steep as well and it's in the main channel so the current is quite strong. Go elsewhere it's not worth it.
