This place… is truly a gem. The owner and the staff are too. I was awestruck with the food! Honestly as good as (if not better) than five star hotel brunches. Want to come here weekly but unfortunately I don’t live too close by.

Went there with some friends all on motorcycles. When we walked in we were all taken back and in awe as to how cool and nice it was. Love the steampunk theme. The food was awesome and the staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. We all decided to make this a regular stop in our travels. Great food from breakfast to lunch not s bad dish. On Wednesday's they have a dinner and music. Jim and Susie have done a great job on inside to the patio. Highly recommend.

We be love this place. The Gibson’s are some of the nicest, welcoming folks you’ll ever meet. They treat us like family. They are a family run business. Occasionally they have evening events with a live band and dinner where you can enjoy food music and food in the beautiful and tranquil atmosphere of the mountains.

A great place to stop at on the way up to Tahoe! Very nice people who work there, they have live music, brunch and lunch!

This place is a great asset to the community. Seems like there some teething issues keeping up with the demand but overall we were happy. Good coffee, good options and tasty food. A rock solid choice for food.

Awesome place! Good food, with a fun menu. The service was great and so friendly. We hope to go back soon. Such a nice stop along hwy 88. Dogs will be happy here, too. The interior is really special - interesting stuff on the walls. Definitely a ten!

Great customer service! Can't wait to try out other food on their menu. We really enjoyed their Breakfast Burrito and Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich.

Great addition to the area. We’re really happy to have discovered it! We bring friends and family here for brunch whenever they’re visiting. Staff is really friendly and food is great. They’re also dog friendly if the patio is open :)

Stopped to get coffee on the way back from several days of camping in the Sierras. It's a charming family-run establishment and everyone was very friendly. The steam punk design theme was unexpected and fun! They had just opened for business the day before, so everyone was full of excitement. Looking forward to stopping by next time I'm in the area!

I have stopped in and ate at Gibsons Roadhouse quite a few times and the food is always great as well as the service, very friendly atmosphere.

Food is great! Have been back several times now when we have out of town guests.

Amazing place! This place says it’s just a coffee shop but it’s far more than that! The lunch was fantastic. The outdoor/indoor area has great ambiance. Perfect for families, bikers, or anyone seeking a casual outing. There is a quaint garden that the owner plans to use her local ingredients in the food. Clean bathrooms and such friendly staff. Cornhole, kids tables, and toys, are just a few other things available. Also, they are building an outdoor music venue with a dance floor which looks like it will be ready real soon. The lunch was so tasty and the owner is planning to get some BBQ going real soon. They also have plenty of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages available and they definitely got the coffee. Would highly recommend stopping in when you are heading up or down highway 88. Also, secret menu item is the loco moco.

Ate twice at Gibson’s Roadhouse Cafe and both times I had amazing food, amazing service, & unforgettable memories.

The first time I went I had the ‘Upcountry Bowl’. It includes light and savory gravy, fluffy and moist biscuits, sausage and/or bacon, and wonderfully seasoned country potatoes made from scratch not a frozen bag. The second time I had ‘Make your own breakfast’. The bacon was perfectly cooked and I can’t get enough of those potatoes!!!

The service is sweet, homey, take your time to enjoy the roses in the awesome outdoor area filled with a beautiful garden, Mr./Mrs. Potato head parts and blocks for playing, and a real life Burning Man bus! They have an indoor eating experience decorated in steampunk extravaganza, too!

I brought kids both times and the staff is super family friendly and accommodating!! The toddlers got to run around and play tag, see the garden, and burn off their energy while we waited for our food.

I adore and appreciate places that are run by family, for families to enjoy yummy comfort food!

Bravo Gibson’s Roadhouse!!!

A fabulous addition to Highway 88 in Upcountry Amador County. I had the BLT with avocado, home made potato salad and a great chocolate milk shake. Delicious. Can’t wait to sample everything on their menu including interesting breakfasts served all day. The decor is like a retro museum. Family owned and run.

This place is amazing, service is so friendly and the food and coffee is terrific.

A very quaint establishment nestled amongst the trees in Amador County.

The service and food is excellent, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

One can choose to eat indoors or outdoors, and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

Stopped by on the road to Yosemite and had the best breakfast burrito, pancakes and avocado toast.
