Our 30 year old Trane AC & furnace were nearing the end of life and had limped along for the past couple of years. We decided it was time to replace them, and after receiving quotes from several companies, Yard stood out. Not only from the quality products offered, but also their customer service. George was fantastic to work with. He answered all our questions and really crunched the numbers to get us the best units for the best price. This included Federal, Ameren, & CWLP rebates/credits which saved quite a bit. The units arrived in less than a week and the installation crew did a great job. They wore shoe coverings, left the work area spotless after completion, and thoroughly explained new thermostat/humidifier settings. George also kept in contact through the whole process from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend Yard Heating and Cooling!

We contacted Yard Heating & cooling for a quote to replace our aging & failing HVAC system. They were very quick to respond and setup consultation for next day. George Yard, the owner himself, provided 3 options within a few hours of his site visit. He explained each option and its benefits. He had most of the equipment in stock and was able to get the rest of the parts to install within 24 hours. Jason and Michael arrived to do the install. They were very professional and did an exceptional job with install and training. I can see why they have so many 5 star reviews.

I recently purchased a new HVAC system from Matthew Yard and George Yard. I wasn't planning on purchasing a new system but I found myself in a situation that it was necessary. My story starts out myself having an HVAC issue that I couldn't do myself. Yard Heating and Cooling came out and evaluated my old system. It was repairable but the cost would of been so high that a newer system install would be more cost effective in the long run. Matthew Yard gave me a quote and George Yard was kind enough to come out and talk to me in person about my options. The great thing about working with George and Matthew is they straight shorters and are willing to listen to myself and understand what would be best for my scenario. I decided to go with a Trane XV18 Heat Pump 4 Ton unit with propane furnace backup. Matthew and his team worked out a timeline that they were available. Within a week, they were out and installed the new unit. This is my first heat pump and I am excited to try it out! I am pretty nerdy when it comes to tech so I am sort of geeking out with the new hi-tech thermostat that was installed. Mother nature bring on your worst! My HVAC system is ready for you.

Great experience working with Yard Heating & Cooling. They were very prompt, sending a technician (Jeremy) within an hour of my call. Jeremy was able to diagnose the issue very quickly and walked me through the step to get our air conditioner back up and running and how to avoid having the same issue happen again. Highly recommend.

It has only been four days since the installation of my garage min-split system, so I can only comment on the consultation and installation.

George was very thorough on the consult. He came out and measured my garage area, looked at the outdoor placement options and the breaker box. He gave me a quote within a day or two. I immediately trusted him (rare for me).

I waited several weeks before ordering as I had matters to clean up (the garage itself and financially).

When I ordered and gave the ok, his team was out 2 days later to install. It only took them 3.5 hour or so, and was done very professionally with no mess to clean up.

As I type this in my garage, it is 71 degrees in here and 42 outdoors! I seem to be done buying and hauling propane tanks in frigid weather. Very Satisfied!

Highly recommend Yard Heating and Cooling! We had a complete HVAC replacement. From the moment George came out to give us a quote and explain our different options, to the excellent installation by Jason and Mike everything was first rate.
We did our research and had three different HVAC contractors come out and give us quotes. One from Lennox, one from Carrier, and Yard for Trane. The Trane system was by far the superior product and pricing was comparable. Throw in the fact that Yard offers a very reasonable yearly maintenance package and it was an easy decision.

I called at 7:40 in the morning for service on my A/C unit. They arrive within the hour. Jeremy was able to diagnose my issue very quickly and what it would cost to repair the unit which was very reasonable. Jeremy took the time to not only fix the issue but also check the complete operation of the unit and give tips on how to do some preventative measures to keep it operating properly. Jeremy did an excellent job with the repair and the information given. I will definitely be using, and recommending this business to everyone!!

Jeremy Clements did a fantastic job diagnosing and repairing my AC unit! He show up less than 3 hours after I requested a technician come to my house. After arriving at my house and In less than an hour, Jeremy had my AC working again. Great service! Thank you Jeremy!!!

Very good customer service. AC was not working and temperature outside was 96 degrees. I called late afternoon, and they were willing to come out for emergency service. I chose to wait until the next day. The service rep called to tell me he was running behind.

When he arrived, he diagnosed the issue and made necessary repair. The total time was less than 24 hours.

Jeremy worked on my air conditioner today Aug 9th.
He was prompt with appt time, very courteous, and took time to explain in detail the issue. He also explained clearly proper maintenance and reasoning for seasonal care of outside unit.

We are very pleased with Yard Heating & Cooling. Our most recent interaction was a message sent from our wireless thermostat that our heat pump was not working correctly. Jeremy was our technician. We did not notice any issue, but Jeremy found a sensor and card were not performing correctly. Our problem was fixed. The parts were under warranty and all we paid for was a technician visit. This service provided from Yard maintains our furnace, heat pump, and air conditioner are working at their best. The service is superior. We are glad we use Yard. Jeremy was professional and courteous. Thank you!

The crew that came to our house was amazing!! They answered all our questions and took all precautions not to make a mess! They were very knowledgeable and quick! We are very happy with our services and new a/c and heat system!

The service we received from Jeremy was excellent. He was on time, friendly, knowledgeable and even educated us on a few things. We had an issue with a baseboard heater. He determined there were burnt wires in the wall behind the control device. We are lucky we didn't have a house fire. He replaced those, and got the heater working again. We would highly recommend Yard, and definitely will use them in the future.

John is a very nice, personable young man, and did an great job when servicing my air conditioner and furnace. He found a couple things that was going to need replaced in the near future, and I had him go ahead and do them while he was here. The reason I quit using the company I previously had service my heating and cooling was because of the service mans attitude. He seemed to be in a very big hurry, and me just losing my husband I had a few questions I needed answers to. This was all so new to me. For this reason I started asking around and was told about your company. They told me what all you do each spring and fall included with your service. Well let me tell you, John was busy the whole time he was here, he showed me the parts that needed replaced and explained why. That meant a lot to me. We got the Mitsubishi split Air conditioner and Heater. They are so quiet.The Guys was on time. They was very Courteous. They showed us how to clean the filters and use the remotes .
