I decided to try it Capital Tacos (on the east end of the Target shopping center across from Wendy's)

BEST DECISION EVER!

I got the Aces High Carnitas Nachos, and oh man! They are SO GOOD!

NO MORE QDOBA FOR THIS GAL!

If you're look for delicious, affordable, and fast please give them a try!

Got the new smash burger taco with fries. I thought it was great. I definitely like the other food options as well. I’ve tried a fair number of items and haven’t been disappointed.

Not your typical taco joint. This place has an awesome menu selection and the west coast shrimp and The Mc Yum Yum tacos were delicious. Their sodas were great too

It's extremely tasty, it's served in generous proportions, it's served by friendly people, but... IT'S NOT TEX-MEX! I spent over 30 years in Texas and lived in several parts of the state; Mexican food was then, and is now, my favorite of all food genres. Tex-Mex is not just whatever you say it is - it has a definite meaning, and Capital Tacos' menu is not even close. They deserve to lose a star for false advertising, but I can't. The food is too good. My taste buds will disown me if I give anything less.

I'll vouch for the Ranchadilla and the Hen House Nachos my wife had. Both had fantastic flavor. Anybody who knows me will tell you I'm a big eater, and the Ranchadilla filled me up and then some.

I don't like being asked for a tip prior to any service being provided, and I'm glad to see others making similar comments. The only other thing we didn't like was the bright sun coming through the windows. They need some kind of blinds.

It's good. We're gonna go back. But it's not Tex-Mex. :-)

Food is good and large portions. Both times we've ate here it has been awesome.

I may be in trouble living in such close proximity to this place. I tried the birria bundle, queso bites and chips with mild salsa. It lasted more than 2 meals for me. The chips are homemade and the salsa tasted very fresh. The queso bites were delicious; crunchy on the outside and cheesy on the inside. I was glad they weren't super messy and dripping with cheese; definitely made me want to try their queso with chips as well as with their fries. The birria tacos and consomme were Amazing! It was hard to drive it home without eating on the drive, it smelled so good. The tacos were bursting with meat, melted cheese and the consomme was so flavorful. I can't wait to go back and try more items!
The entrance was a bit confusing to me and others; the main door is inside the gated patio.

Delicious food! We especially loved the shaved beef taco and fries with poblano ranch. The tacos are big by the way so they are worth the price. I don’t know why I was expecting them to be street taco sized but they aren’t. Generous portions and fair pricing.

Ordered online and took my order home, so I didn't spend much time waiting. Based on other reviews my family ordered to share. We got the queso bites, steakadilla, and MC yum yum nachos. TLDR; super flavorful and will be going back for more!

I loved the packaging - it was delightful to see eco-friendly containers. The amount of food we ordered was enough for the three of us (two adults and a tween).

The steakadilla was tasty, but the ingredients weren't evenly distributed. My slice was loaded while another was just cheese. Easily remedied at home, we just sliced it into eighths.

The MC yum yum nachos were insanely good! The fresh chips are thick and tasty, and the toppings were plentiful. The Adobo chicken would have been enough for me, but the bacon and chorizo added an extra flavor punch.

The queso balls and just that - fried balls of queso. So glad we got those!

When picking up my order I noticed on their menu that they serve margaritas. I'm planning on eating in person next time to give those a try.

My only gripe was there were no prices in-store on their menu. So if you're on a budget, check out the pricing online to plan ahead.

Legit tacos. I had the pork and chicken. The house branded sodas were a nice surprise since that's so rare nowadays. All the flavors I tried were solid and I think the root beer is my favorite.

My wife and I have been here 3 times now. It is quickly becoming our favorite taco place. The food tastes great, the portion sizes are large and the staff is friendly. The chicken fajita taco is my favorite so far. It has a unique mix of flavors that I really like.

YUM! We enjoyed lunch here during a weekend trip to Fort Collins! The service was great & the food was delicious. Full of flavor. Highly recommend the tacos & bowls!

My husband and I had the chicken fajita nachos, smash burger taco, fries and 2 drinks for $29 bucks total (not per person per other reviews) Definitely coming back to try other menu items. So delicious and very filling. Staff was very friendly.

We had food catered from here for an in-office event of about 15 people last night, and wow it was so much more than we expected! The food was delicious, the set up was great, the amount of sides and toppings you get is ridiculous! Ordering and delivery was super convenient also! Thank you! Highly highly recommend them!

Probably the best Tex-Mex place that I’ve ever had. I’ve been to the Land O’Lakes and Wesley Chapel Location and was estatic to see they had a location in Loveland, Co.! It’s absolutely delicious and fresh and one of my all time favorite food places to go to! Catawampus is my favorite, and probably the best one to start if wanting to try for the first time.

First time visiting on a Tuesday evening. The young lady taking our order was SUPER friendly. The homemade chips are wonderful (AND served warm beforehand which was a bonus). Then the tacos. Oh my, the tacos. You definitely get a big bang for the buck. I had the MC Yum Yum and the Big Kahuna. Both were ridiculous!!! I honestly ate both but was completely satisfied after the first (yes, I know, the chips might have been a little much lol). My wife had the shrimp tacos and commented “these are probably the best tacos I’ve ever had”. We eat a LOT of tacos from all over the place so that’s saying a lot in our house. The were fresh, hot, and well presented. Thank you Capital Tacos, we will be back.

My husband and I have been here a few times now and it's always delicious. Tons of choices makes it a little hard to decide but get to try something new each time. My favorite is the cheesy chicken tacos so far and their chips and queso. But everything we have had has been delicious and made fresh. The staff is always friendly and in a good mood as well. Nice quiet eat in atmosphere with no loud music blasting or kids screaming. We will definitely be back.

We tried Capital Tacos for our lunch at work, and all of us were not disappointed. It was so good we ordered it the very next day. The chips for all the nachos still stayed crispy for take out, and the birria menu is definitely going to have us coming back for more. Super tasty food at very reasonable prices. The food was ready very quickly, as well. All in all, I can't wait to continue to try their whole menu!

All 5 stars for this business for many reasons. First the owner is very personable and you can tell she truly cares! When I walked in the owner was sweeping the floor and introduced herself right away! 2nd the food is fantastic! I am a manager at Loveland Ford Dealership and we got food catered during a Saturday and it was enough food to satisfy everyone at the store which is a hard thing to accomplish! We will continue to get food catered as the overall experience was top tier! HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!
