SouthStar Urgent Care

Brought my daughter here for a severe asthma attack and the NP Courtney was amazing!! You could tell she genuinely cared and made sure my daughter was comfortable we left! I highly recommend!

All of the staff treated me with 10 out of 10 service. From the nice lady at front desk, to the nice ladies who did my vitals, my exam, and administered the medication. Although, I was in pain, the whole staff that was in contact with me made my visit pleasant, calming, and made me feel cared for. I love how they listened with concern while I explained my pain and also asked me questions to figure things out about what was going on. They even explained things step by step when it came to taking care of me. Even administering the shots were seamless and painless!
The beautiful waiting area was clean, smelled good, and made me feel less like waiting to be seen in a doctor's office. I appreciate all of y'all at the Scott location & I would no doubt recommend this location.

I went to my PCP, several times and Lourdes ER, twice for my symptoms.
Immediately they tested me and we began treating me for a bad stomach infection. I'm doing followup appts this clinic. I am so grateful for Courtney, Toby and the entire staff.

After my primary Dr's (Nathan Landry) office would not return my call for over a day, I went to SouthStar first thing in the morning. They got me checked in quickly. Saw me right away. Made a diagnosis. Gave me a treatment plan and I'm already feeling better. It's good to know SouthStar is there when my primary Dr. drops the ball.

I am so grateful for the care my daughter recently received at SouthStar. The front desk receptionist/nurse named Kandice, Dr. Collins, and even the radiology technologist were absolutely exceptional. My daughter went in with a laceration on her ankle that needed stitches. The care, patience and compassion shown by these two were incredible. I will recommend SouthStar again and again!

I received excellent care at the SouthStar Urgent Care on Westgate Road in the city of Scott, LA. The doctor was kind and experienced. The nurse was also very kind and attentive

I went to SouthStar Urgent Care to be tested for COVID. When I arrived I was greeted by the receptionist and given a small questionnaire. It did not take long for me to go in the back to be treated . Every one I met staff wise were great.

Nurses and staff are very understanding and do everything they can to help. Very short wait time; less than 10 minutes! I was made to feel comfortable and believe they truly care about their patients. Would definitely recommend this Urgent Care to everyone! Thank you!

I had a very good experience with SouthStar’s Urgent Care. The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Their explanations were very helpful and straightforward. If an urgent care visit is ever pleasing, I would say this visit was. I strongly recommend this Urgent Care for you needs.

The facility was extremely clean. The staff polite and very knowledgeable. Loved the NP she was pleasant, professional and understanding. I will say my overall experience was excellent. They exceeded all my expectations. I will return to only this location!!

Another Amazing experience!! Went in with an ankle I thought was broken.. Turned out after X-rays it wasn’t.. But I was also suffering with osteoarthritis in my knee I never mentioned , in fear my ankle treatment would suffer. Well he gave me a medication that within 30 minutes my flare up was almost completely GONE!!! For both my knee and ankle!! I let a new job go because this pain was so unbearable!! Super pissed with my rheumatology doctor!!! Finally someone cares about pain free living without steroids! Way to Go!!!!

The staff was really nice and helpful. I got quick service. They took good care of me with my broken bone.

They were so fast, kind, and very caring when it came down to my almost 2 year old that ended up testing positive for strep and ear infection. They even brought her some apple juice. They went over and beyond and you can tell the staff that worked Memorial Day was the best staff to be there.

Mrs Holly & Mrs. Kim showed a lot of empathy toward my discomfort. They tended to me as though I was family! Thank you ladies for simply taking care of me in such a passionate way!! You rock!!

I was visiting a friend in Lafayette and something came up that I needed medical help. Went to southStar Urgent Care on Westgate in Scott, LA. Very nice people. The nurse, Michael was so nice and helpful and the PA, Toby was great! Explained everything to me, helped my problem and I was on my way. So thankful to them for the nice and professional care.

Everyone there are so professional but down to earth. They care about their patients and explains everything in plain language and listens to your complaint. Thank you for taking the time to not rush me out!

Walked in with low grade fever and terrible congestion! Was seen very quickly… swabbed for everything! Diagnosed and given treatment … already on my way to recovery! Staff was efficient and knowledgeable… had me back on my feet in no time!

I absolutely LOVE this place!! Everyone was so nice and understanding! Thank goodness I went in bc I found out I had Covid! I would have NEVER thought that and would prob be over doing it right now instead of resting! I totally recommend this place!

This location was great. Everyone was very nice from assistant at front desk to the FNP and assistant. Thanks FNP Toby Potier and Michael Foret for your kindness and concern. FNP Toby Potier listened to my concerns thoroughly and explained treatment plan. Hopefully I begin to feel better soon. The location was very clean and the wait was not long at all.
