I bring Hazel and Leonidas here. Ive had a couple emergencies and everyone is really nice and accommodating. Hazel is a rescue and has trust issues. She trusts Dr. Peace and he’s always very nice and patient with my dogs I switched vet offices to here just so he can see them. He’s very honest and knowledgeable.

The staff and doctor we saw were very professional and thorough in understanding our medical history as new clients from out of state and answering any questions we had. I was able to email medical records ahead of time, which the doctor reviewed before our appointment. The facility is clean, and they also have day care services. Prices are reasonable and they have some Saturday hours.

I have been bringing my dog to this clinic since 2014 every one from front desk to the Drs are amazing. Very respectful, nice, and attentive. Specially Kim the one who works in your grooming area, she is an asset to your clinic. I drive 40 min every 6-8 weeks to bring my dog to her. My dog knows when we get to the parking area and gets so happy to see her. Thank you Kim.

Finally, there is a true cat doctor at Carpenter Animal Hospital. It's clear Dr. Barrett loves cats and appreciates their uniqueness. I highly recommend him for the care of your cats. Others at the hospital have given Theo and Cleo good care, but it's clear the Dr. Barrett understands the bond we have with our cat children.

Alexa was very thorough and helpful with intake questions. She took the time to answer some questions my daughter had for an FFA class. She relayed our questions to Dr. Peace and he answered them during the visit. Both were very kind and patient with our cat.

We’ve been going to Carpenter Animal Hospital and Pet Inn since 2018, and we couldn’t imagine trusting anyone else with our pets! They have great frenchie experience and we have never had any doubts about their ability to care for our girls. Dr. Hodges takes great care during surgery and answers our many follow-up questions with patience and kindness. Dr. Barrett has cared for our girls since day one and we have always appreciated his transparency and compassion, especially when he helped us make a difficult care decision for our dog. Dr. Thill has also cared for our girls and helped us finally beat a pesky recurring UTI with her dedication to finding the root cause. All of the providers are professional, patient, and take the time to get to know your pet, remember them throughout time, and provide quality care.

I bring my dog there for checkups and grooming. I know many people who love the daycare and boarding facilities. I saw dogs pulling their owners into the place because they love it so much, so I decided to take my current dog there occasionally so he could play with other dogs (he would play 24/7 if he could). I've used Kim the groomer for over 13 years and I just adore Dr. Peace. You can tell how much he loves his patients and he's not an alarmist. Dr Hodges treated my last dog for diabetes for 6 years after his diagnosis at age 8 and he lasted until he was 14 1/2.

My 2 yr old terrier mix, Layla, was in a lot of pain, but we were unable to figure out where. I was beside myself because i couldn't comfort or hold her. She's been my constant companion for a little over a year now. My shadow. My husband was able to get her a same day appointment. My son came with me because he was also very worried about her. I cannot thank you all enough for the amazing care she received. The amount of time spent discussing her diagnosis and our options for treatment was much appreciated. She's feeling 10x better. Back to her sweet spunky self! Now that we know about her condition, we know exactly what to do the next time she has a flare up. Thank you for all you do!

The staff at Carpenter Animal Hospital have compassion and patience, as well as respect for the owners of the fur babies. I took my 2 Dachshund’s there for 13 years. I couldn’t ask for a better provider in their profession.

Since then I’ve lost Gerber in 2023 he was (15 years old). I still have my Sippy, we’ll miss them greatly. We’ve relocated to another state.

We have been coming to Carpenter Animal Hospital for about 5 years and would not go anywhere else. We bring our dog there for all his medical and grooming needs. Everyone there is super friendly, loves pets.

Dr. Hodges spent so much time with us. He did a full examination on our dog Millie. I used to work as a veterinarian technician and honestly, I was more impressed than the veterinarian I worked for. He felt all of her joints, he looked over her entire body. He touched in everything, honestly everything. I left there feeling 100% confident in the money I spent.

I am so grateful for the care Dr. Turner has been providing my 13 year old golden retriever. For the past 6 months, he has received acupuncture for severe arthritis in his back legs. I was hoping to just slow down his decline, but I can honestly say he is walking better and faster, getting up and down with less help from me and is in better spirits!!!!! We were even able to lessen his other medications as a result. Dr. Turner always addresses my concerns and questions seriously and thoughtfully. Acupuncture is not painful and my dog's comfort is a priority. Even the techs (Ayah and Ashley) are very attentive to have Jazz's favorite room and blanket ready for him along with lots of "scritches". So glad that this expertise is offered at Carpenter.

Dr Terrell and her technician were compassionate and helpful with our senior cat. Dr Terrell was very detailed in her questions and discussion. We left Carpenter Animal Hospital feeling much better about our cat’s situation and with Peace of Mind.

The staff and doctors at Carpenter are really amazing. I’m always impressed by their warmth, friendliness and responsiveness! We usually see Dr. Peace (who we love!!). Today my pup was injured and Carpenter was able to get me in within a hour to see Dr. Turner. She was so sweet and gentle with my timid rescue pup. I appreciated her clear and thorough explanations of the issue and treatment options. She also gave me great tips on prevention, since this is the second time my dog has had this issue, and after-care tips. She did a great job of picking up quickly on how to leverage my dog’s personality to be able to provide treatment less stressfully. I appreciate knowing that tomorrow I’ll be getting a phone call to check on my dog. Thank you to Dr. Turner and all for taking such great care of my pup!!

My pup and I have been going here for 3+ years. He had a bad injury and infection from
Doggy day camp (somewhere else) and they fixed him right up. Good as new! I live all the way in Durham and come to Cary just for Carpenter Animal Hospital. The team communicate’s really well on the phone/via email and always have fast service. Plus they are really nice. Recommended 100% if you are looking for a local vet.

I love bringing Blanco here, they care for him like he’s one of their own. They are very informative, caring and nurturing! Even if you have questions they answer them without making you book an appointment. I would highly recommend CARPENTER!!!!!

This veterinarians office have been so amazing to work with. Yesterday I had to rush my cat, Hendrix, in because he was sick and I didn’t know what was wrong. He ate an entire shoestring causing him pain and discomfort. Their office was able to perform emergency surgery and took amazing care of his afterwards. He’s is now home, finally ate something small, and resting while high on his kitty pain meds. I couldn’t recommend you go to anyone else!! The staff is fantastic and their Veterinarians are so knowledgeable. Thank you to you all for taking care of my furbabies, both Hendrix and Woodstock.

CAH is the best! The owner, Dr Hodges, is obviously a very special person because this clinic is run beautifully. You can tell that everyone who works there is happy and truly cares.
Dr Terrell has been our vet for several years and words can’t express how thankful we are that she is a part of our lives. She puts her all into caring for our cats and cried alongside of us when we lost two of our babies.
The front desk is always welcoming…shout out to Annie who always greets us with a smile and does everything she can to make visits enjoyable.
Although we do not have dogs, it is always fun to watch their groomer Kim greet her regulars. Her love of animals is always present at the clinic.
Being a crazy cat mom of 6 cats means I am a regular at the clinic and I can’t recommend CAH enough! :)

Carpenter Animal Hospital and Pet Inn is amazing. My dog goes to Day Care 1 day a week and loves it. The staff is amazing and they love my dog and treat him so well. They are all so super sweet to him. I have boarded him here as well and they are wonderful. The Veterinarians are wonderful as well. Highly recommend Carpenter Animal Hospital for day care, boarding and veterinarian care!

Love Carpenter Animal Hospital. All the docs have been so great with my very needy Frenchie. Today’s visit was no exception, spent lots of time with us took great care of my dog. The technician J was so great with her and gave her lots of love.
