On The Hill Cafe

We love this place but don't get there very often. They're omelettes and pancakes and eggs Benedict are out of this world. Today there was an order of eggs Benedict with their delicious home fries and I had of course a Greek omelette delicious and loaded so much so I ended up taking some of it home to eat for lunch wonderful service great place however a cash only place so please remember that

On The Hill Cafe is our favorite breakfast, brunch and lunch place. Delicious food, wonderful people, great money value, and the place is homey and comforting and run by local family. Steve and Dawn run a tight ship and connect with all of their customers.

Our favorites on the menu are the homemade hash, fried chicken sandwiches, patty melts, and all of the special pancake flavors.

We are proud to support their business and wish we could more often!

I've never been to a place where they are so friendly and attentive. They refill coffee several times. The food is always fantastic and flavorful. Great prices too. We highly recommend the omelettes and sausage links.

Went here with my grandpa a few months ago. Their chocolate chip pancakes were delicious! We really enjoyed our meal. Definitely coming back when I can. I want to try more foods.

Tried the “On the Hill Café Burger with Grilled Chicken” and a “Loaded Bowl”.

First time there today and I was greeted and treated like a regular at the counter by Savannah and Sierra ( hope I spelled names correctly). Nice vibe all around, food was very good, service outstanding, friendly and with a smile. The owner Steve even came to say hello and refill coffee. I will definitely return.

This was a lovely find if you are looking for a fantastic diner. Food was great, staff was friendly, and atmosphere was upbeat. It is a cash only establishment but the prices are more than reasonable.

Food was great, one dish that was supposed to be vegetarian tasted like bacon but I didn't bring it up.

Girlfriends Eggs Benedict were great, I just got the usual 2 Eggs bacon toast and taters. Our waitress stole our hearts though, she was absolutely hilarious and incredibly attentive. 11/10.

Very nice place, food is very good but the best thing about it is the warm welcome of the waitresses and our 2 waitresses who took care of our section were adorable lovely friendly and funny.

This has got to be the best place to eat in all of the capital region. Every single member of the staff is friendly, funny, and so so helpful.

I always get breakfast here. The portions are fantastic and the prices just can't be beat anywhere.

Everyone comes around to make sure your coffee is always topped off. Never had anything burnt or that tasted weird. This whole rush run is always on point.

I don't think I can see enough great things about this place. If you're looking for a new spot, this is it. No doubt.

This establishment has by far the best Chef Salad in the capital District, it is awesome and especially if it's prepared by the lovely lady by the name of Dawn. The service here is always good , the food here is always wonderful, never had anything we didn't like at this restaurant, be it breakfast or lunch. Once you try it, you will definitely make many return trips!
