Best Chinese takeout in the area. Their egg rolls are perfection EVERY time. Every dish is excellent, always fast & friendly. Happy to accommodate (like no carrots please ).
Never had a bad meal; often takeout & delivery.

Piping hot food. Great flavor. Located right in Hill Top Plaza so there's plenty of parking. Definitely a good spot to get food or for those looking for their all the time "chinese spot"

Really liked the shrimp egg roll and fried dumplings. Sesame chicken special combo (my go to besides general tso) was plentiful and had good flavor.

I always get a meal and many sides. Everything was fresh and delicious. This not your typical Chinese food, it has flavor, so much flavor! A slight hint of curry and ginger makes all rhe difference! It was ready when I arrived and I was quickly cashed out. I was shocked how inexpensive it was based on all the items I ordered! I highly recommend this place! In fact, I just placed another order today. You will not waste your money here, you get a big meal for a small price and it's amazingly delicious! ❤🤩

This has been my go-to Chinese takeout place for a very long time, and they have never once let me down. They have never gotten an order wrong or cooked something poorly. The food is always perfect and tasty, and the person behind the counter is super nice.

Very genuine customer service . very large size portion of seame chicken and veg fried rice . recommend general two's chicken and shrimp egg roll the bomb size.

Golden House is my go-to place for take-out when I don't feel like cooking. I have tried several other places around the area as well as a few between Albany and Saratoga Springs. I can definitively say that this is the best place for Chinese food.

The food tastes great and it is consistently good. I have never had a meal from them that tasted different or bad compared to previous times. My two favorites are Chicken Chow Mai Fun and fried dumplings. Once you have their dumplings (steamed or fried) you'll never want to try another place.

I can't speak for their dine-in option, only for pickup. They do offer delivery but I am so close that it's easier to just pick it up myself. I can place my order and then go pick it up 30-40 minutes later and it will be ready, unless it's a large order.

Overall, it is a very good place to get Chinese takeout in this area if you're not feeling up to cooking and I'd highly recommend it.

Great food and service. Their dumplings are amazing never had dumplings like these ever. The food is very fast depending on what time I order but it's worth the wait. The lomien and general tso chicken which I always get is amazing. I definitely recommend.

Consistency, consistency, consistency. Did I mention consistency? It’s so hard to find good Chinese food Upstate lately.. This place is great. Wide variety of menu options and fresh vegetables EVERY TIME. My go to is the Small (large portion) Vegetable Lo Mein, Shrimp w/Mixed Vegetables and the small Hot and Sour soup. You won’t be disappointed 👌

Love It here!! I travel a lot, and no chinese is better than Golden House. Maybe I'm biased because the ower is so adorable and sweet! I am always greeted with a smile and a "welcome back".
They get surprisingly busy too! Would suggest take out as it is rather small inside. Again great place!

The food is always consistent and flavorful and full of protein and veggies. I recommend the schewaun dumplings also!!!

I overlooked this spot so many times because they didn’t have a lot of reviews. They are the best in the Albany and schenectady area! The food tastes so much better than a lot of the other local spots that are pricier.

Wonton soup is excellent along with General Chowz Chicken made mild and not over-burnt... Chicken Lo Mein noodles were just right, House Fried Rice is full of goodies. Luved the chicken wings - which is a great $$$ deal for the money - plain but that's fine because I use my own sauces. People are really nice. Food is prepared on site, wonton's and crab rangoon's all made in the restaurant. Good Deal $$$ Great Food.

First time ordering from Golden house today, they were really great on the phone and my food came hot delicious :) Everything was very good especially like the dumplings.

Omggg delicious!!! The Amazing Chicken is more than amazing... the ginger chicken as good if not better! First time there and I will never go to another place can’t wait to try more!

Priced a few dollars higher than other Chinese lunch places, but the food tastes very fresh and the quality of the ingredients is very good. Will definitely be back.
