This place is great. I didn't even know it was there until yesterday. I went in just to see what they had and left with a new place to visit regularly. The gentleman minding the store yesterday, a young man named Mack, greeted me immediately, made sure I was aware he was available and left me be to look around. Refreshing to not be either ignored or followed around and annoyed. He was professional, knowledgeable, and is the main reason I now count super value nutrition among my usual stops. In addition to the top notch staff, the store is clean and well lit and thoughtfully organized. They had several hard to find items that I often struggle to locate and even different brands and prices. This place is a hidden gem. Try it out, it won't disappoint.

Both of those stores reek of incense. I bought a 64 ounce of water from the bee Ridge store near 41. I opened it in my car and it smelled like incense. It even tasted like incense, so I called the store and told them I wanted to bring it back, and the young girl on the phone says, “well, me the Owner drink that water all the time and we’ve never had that happen to us”. That was her answer. Not, oh! I’m so sorry you had that experience. Please bring it back and we can replace it or give you a refund. She told me the owner may be at the other store on bee Ridge and cattlemen, so I went there. The owner wasn’t there and I brought the bottle in to show one of the employees,
the short man with the dark hair. I told him I just bought it at the other store, and it smelled and tasted like incense, and he said “well, what do you want me to do about it? Our bottles don’t smell”. That was his answer! I asked him to smell the bottle and he refused. Needless to say I am never shopping in that store again. I’ve been shopping at those stores over 15 years and Tom has never been rude to me, or treated me poorly but unfortunately, his employees lack decorum and respect for customers, and I cannot support his store any longer.
I will be shopping at any other health food store in Sarasota or Amazon because at Amazon there are no employees to talk back to you or be rude, and at the other Health food stores in town, I’ve never had this experience . I called the water company and they replaced my bottle with 4 64oz bottles and for the way I was treated when I tried to return that bottle. They said they would reach out to the stores to let them know. I also left a message with a girl at the bee Ridge store to let the owner know what has happened, and I have not received a call back.
