I recently purchased a Veranda 25 from Chris. Chris was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He communicated regularly and kept us updated with all the important details. Chris even provided us with financing considerably more attractive than our own Bank. All in all I cannot imagine a better company to by a boat from. I just received the boat and took it out for it's maiden voyage. It is perfect in every way. Thanks Chris you are the best.

Adding our kudos to all the other reviews --- the Frank's run an amazing family business that delivers customer service at levels you just don't see these days. From gas-dock service, to slips, storage, maintenance --- and even sea trials --- they are an absolute pleasure to work with. They know boats inside and out and provide all these services at reasonable prices. Truly like having "family in the business!" So glad our son moved his boat to Spicer Marine ---like night and day service!! Keep it up!!

About 8 years ago, I needed to have serious repairs to a used center console that I had purchased in Virginia. The boat had been re-powered with a new engine a year earlier. That fall, I took the boat to Spicer's to have it winterized, laid up for seasonal storage and detailed in the spring. Dan noticed evidence of water intrusion in the transom, probably related to the engine swap. The few small blisters on the stern could have easily been overlooked or ignored, but he had a surveyor examine the hull and it was determined that the transom needed replacement. Dan was able to make a complete professional restoration and the boat was returned in showroom condition, on-time and under budget. We had many choices for marine services back then, but Dan earned our trust and respect that year. We feel fortunate to have had Spicer's caring and competence then and every year since.

Great service! We rented a pontoon boat for a week in late July 2023. Communication was easy, friendly and timely. We were checked in and out by Mason and Julia - both were very helpful in providing information and directions. Highly recommend and we will definitely use again.

Top notch service! Had a major engine issue and Chris worked hard for us to get it done under warranty. Kept me informed with regular updates. We also had a trolling motor installed and it’s perfect at a very fair cost. We were so pleased we will make the 3 hour drive from Canada to Spicer’s for any future work or maintenance. Undoubtedly the best marina on the St Lawrence river. Incredibly responsive, customer oriented plus they even return phone calls and don’t overcharge on service. Kudos to the Frank’s. Family business helping my family 👍👍👍🌴🌴

I have been boating in CNY for many years and never found a marina that could give even decent service. Ten years ago I started boating on the St. Lawrence River and found dockage at Spicer Marine Basin. I have never found better service anywhere to compare with Spicer Marine Basin. They are the only ones who have serviced my boat since it was new. I do not trailer and they store my boat in the winter as well. Dan, Chris, Karen, and Alta treat us like family. I would strongly recommend them to anyone that boats on the St. Lawrence.

My wife and I wanted to buy a new boat and trailer near our summer home in Alexandria Bay NY. We don't know a lot about setting up a new boat and trailer together. We walked into Spicer's Marina and were treated better than family. Everything was spot on and was delivered on time. If you are looking for anything related to boating, I would definitely stop by and talk to them. Say hi to Dan, Chris ,Karen and Alta for me ! Best Marina around !!!!

Spicer Marine is excellent, as is the Frank family who owns it. They’ve taken really good care of us for more than 5yrs now.
I have a slip there, get gas there, do all my maintenance with them, store my boat in the winter there, and they even help me get my mail (since I’m on an island). They’re also Sportsman Boat reps now, so someday I look forward to buying a new boat from them too!

My hectic schedule prevented this long overdue review . At the end of last summer I had the pleasure of doing business with Chris and Dan .

I had traded in my pontoon boat for a Tritoon boat ( pontoon boat with 3 tubes . The entire transaction was flawless and enjoyable.

The boat I purchased was exactly as it was represented and everything that was on the punch list was taken care of as promised.

The service is professional and courteous.

It was a no pressure/ laid back relaxing experience doing business with these awesome folks .
The family atmosphere was refreshing and appreciated !

First time dealing with Spicer Marina and the new owners. Wow, what a fantastic experience! Emailed them about an issue with my Mercury Outboard, we worked through what it might be, they ordered the part and I was in the next day. The day if the repair, they only took 2 hours and resolved the issue at a very reasonable price. So accommodating and helpful in every way. Thanks to Chris, Alta and Karen. We will be back🙂

Had a great experience buying a used boat from Dan, Chris, and their family team. They made sure everything was well checked out before we closed, and they also helped coordinate a Bimini we had made through the canvas shop that's on their site. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for services big or small.

Our family has been a customer for many years and we have always experienced exceptional service and a willingness by Chris, Alta and the team to go the extra mile when needed.

We had just arrived at our Airbnb cottage for a week of bass fishing. As luck would have it on our first day our NitroZ7 had the dreaded 4 beep alarm. We figured our week was shot as we called around and no one would be able to help us for a week or longer. Then I called Spicer marina and they said they would help us and get us back on the water asap. Within one day we were back on the water. They were very friendly, extremely helpful and super fast service. Unfortunately we are not from this area otherwise they would have our boat business. This is a family run business with old fashion values which are very hard to find these days. I would highly recommend Spicer Marine to everyone in this area who owns a boat!!
