I used to think hiring a realtor was a waste of money, but working with Ashley made me realize how wrong I was. She helped us sell one house and build another. Throughout the entire process she was reminding us of things we should do and think about. Many things we hadn't even considered. This alone saved us some headache by taking care of it early. She was quick to answer questions and very proactive. We highly recommend Ashley Blackwell if you are looking for a very caring realtor. She was great!

They are very nice apartments Mr balch is definitely a man of his word. Whatever needs fixing he doesn't prolong the wait it gets done immediately . A very quiet neighborhood .

Beware of properties owned by Weihua Yang.

Rented a house managed by Opie Balch Realty for two years. In that time, we always paid rent in full, on time, and kept the property well taken care of. For the most part our interactions were not unpleasant, though they were hard to get in touch with for repairs and frequently declined to talk to my wife at all.

At one point, a car hit our mailbox, and instead of replacing the broken mailbox, the owner decided he just wanted the old one set back up. Water leaked into it every time it rained because it no longer shut properly.

Unfortunately, at the height of the COVID pandemic and during my wife's 7th month of pregnancy, the owner of the house, Weihua Yang, decided to sell the property and evict us in the process, giving us the minimal required legal amount of notice. Because he knew displacing us during this time was heartless, he offered to give us $500 to help pay for moving expenses. Opie Balch Realty praised him for this gesture. (Spoiler alert, he changed his mind after we vacated the property.)

It was at this point that getting in contact with Opie Balch Realty was no longer difficult, as they began calling every other day about realtors wanting to show the property, or with questions about the dimensions or features of the house. We had realtors show up unannounced one weekend while we had family visiting. They were apparently led to believe the house was already vacant. We were made to feel like we were simply an obstacle they had to work around to sell the home.

I would advise against renting through Opie Balch Realty, and beware buying homes owned by Weihua Yang.

Very unprofessional. I called and left a message, I then received a text message with the information of the property. After going back and forth I told them I wanted to put an application in for the property, I texted the request two more times but I never heard from them again. Hours later the property was no longer listed. So instead of telling me it was no longer available they chose to just ignore me.
