ABC of North Alabama

The North Alabama Chapter of ABC is leading the initiative of workforce development for our industries, working closely with schools on trade campaigns and continued professional development for our Emerging Leaders. Our members are truly the premier professionals of the commercial industry, and actively contribute to the experiences and education opportunities that ABC provides. Most importantly, they serve as our legislative voice, and I am grateful for everything they do for me and my business.

This is an Excellent organization that is committed to making the Construction Industry better. It has been great for our company to be involved in making positive changes.

They are truly dedicated to work force development

I was hired to be a carpenter foreman for abc in fairfield alabama at us steel, I was continually left in the dark with no communication. My superintendent would leave without saying a word expecting me to cover two defferent meetings without any knowledge of his plan's staying gone week's at a time. He finally brought in a so called gf that didn't like me very well we we're always at odds because he thought he could bully myself and men. I took all of this for about 6 month's and finally got tired of the bullcrap and the illigals cussing me. The day I left the superintendent wasn't there of course. One of the men jumped all in my face and wouldn't leave me alone the gf cussed me so finally i had enough and left. I called and text the superintendent to tell him the situation but he would not answer I still haven't heard from him.... Take it from me iff your not illegal or can't be pushed around you don't want to work for the group I was with, I was treated unfair and poorly. My record speaks for itself your loss abc.....

This was an honest organization started by good people but it has since been taken over bye large contractors that are self-serving and push legislation that benefit only them. The legislation they push enables corruption
