Jacob of Madison Pro Services is an excellent tile installer for both floor tile and bathroom showers, especially curb-less zero-entry showers. He’ll work with you to design a completely custom bathroom from start to finish. He discusses the details and suggests options every step of the way. He did two complete bathroom remodels for us that involved moving plumbing fixtures and even adding a linen closet. He adapts well to last minute design changes and any construction issues that arise. He can do an everything-included remodel, or let you source your own fixtures or subcontractors. Larger projects will likely take a few weeks to complete, but they’ll be done correctly. Shop around to get the best deal on quality tile and don’t settle for vanities or counter tops sold by the tile distributor.

I was dealing with a contractor that was supposed to expand my shower and make it a steam shower. I was told to buy all the materials needed and they would start. Once all the material was bought the contractor told me they could not do the job. I was then led to Madison Pro Services and from start to finish, the experience was exceptional.

I hired Madison Pro Services LLC to remove and replace the tile in my master bathroom and shower. Jacob Wiseman came and provided a detailed quote Ann explained the process. In January 2023 Jacob Wiseman renovated our master bathroom. We were so pleased with his work that we had him renovate a second bathroom for us in January 2024. What sets Jacob apart is his absolute commitment to excellence. He has expertise in many areas and constantly strives to increase his knowledge and improve his skills. Although Jacob specializes in tile, we also found him to be highly skilled in painting, drywall, and plumbing. Aside from his considerable skills, Jacob impressed us greatly in many ways. He has a great work ethic and put in many long days. When you have someone come into your home every day for several weeks to complete a complicated renovation project, it is vital that you’re able to trust that person completely. We found Jacob to be completely trustworthy and extremely easy to work with. Additionally, he was always polite and very considerate. For example, he was always careful about where he parked his truck and trailer so that neither we nor our neighbors were ever inconvenienced. During the weeks that he was in our home, Jacob went in and out of our door hundreds of times and each time he took a moment to close the door carefully and quietly. He made the effort to keep our home as clean as possible and he showed great patience with our yappy little dogs and even tried to make friends with them.
Jacob also had the wisdom to choose an exceptional apprentice. Aside from being a friendly and delightful person, Kirstin possesses a unique set of talents and she is a great asset to him.

Our shower had previously been done very poorly by another contractor. Jacob had to completely gut it and start over. He even gave us a discount because of how bad it was before. We are so happy with his work! His tile work is excellent quality, and it looks exactly how I wanted it. He helped us choose the design for the shelf along the back wall and it's perfect! We added a second shower head and the water pressure is still very good. He was very thorough and kept us in the loop during the whole process. I've already recommended his services to some of my friends.

After learning the subfloor in one bathroom was rotten my husband and I started looking for someone to do repairs/cosmetic updates to one bathroom, and a full remodel in the other bathroom. Our house was built in 1985 so it was overdue for some upgrades. I found Jacob and Madison Pro Services on the NextDoor app when he responded to my post looking for someone qualified to do the job. After meeting him, discussing what we wanted and receiving an estimate, we hired him. He and apprentice Kirsten (who has gone on to other things) started work the last week of March and finished today, a total of 6 weeks. There were surprises along the way (to be expected in a 38-year old house) and he found solutions for all of them. His work is methodical, meticulous and thorough, with laser focused attention to the smallest detail. He arrived every morning ready to work and stayed late many evenings till he was satisfied with the day's work. As many times as he and Kirsten had to go in and out of the house, they remained as quiet and unobtrusive as possible, always closing the door quietly behind them. Dust was kept to an absolute minimum with an exhaust system venting to the outside, protective coverings on the carpet, and sticky mats outside the bathrooms to keep from tracking dust/dirt to other places. When he says dust-free, he really means it! Jacob even came up with a barrier to keep my cats out of the bathrooms at night.

Over the course of 6 weeks, Jacob took my old, dark and outdated bathroom and gave me a beautiful space with a more accessible shower, additional shelving and a space that's now safer, brighter and more comfortable. When I didn't like the paint color for the walls, Jacob repainted it to another color. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you want a top-notch bathroom remodel, call Jacob. My last contractor did not properly water proof my shower and I was left wondering how much damage had been done and what level of mold my family had been exposed to. And how do you go about finding a reputable contractor when you have already had a bad experience? This is where Madison Pro Services comes in.
On the consultation, he thoroughly explained the issues he saw and why they were problematic. He then went into detail on the system that he uses to ensure a water tight shower and beautiful tile.
During the tear down and installation, he ensured my cabinets, counters, and other items in the bathroom were covered. He also covered the flooring all the way to the door in order to protect my floors. He used equipment that kept the dust from the tear down at bay, and even took photos and made videos of various steps along the way that explained what he did in that step.
When we were wrapping things up, he told me that the only maintenance that needed to be done would be re-caulking in about 5 years. He then threw out, give me a call when you notice it start to break down and I will come out and take care of it.
In a situation where it is hard to find a trustworthy and competent contractor to help with a home improvement project, I can say I am confident that Jacob Wiseman does quality work and cares about creating a long lasting work or art.

Amazing company!
We needed to redo the primary bathroom, since the jetted tub cracked, and the shower insert was looking pretty sad. We called Jacob and he came out within 3 days to give us an estimate. He explained at that time that he was very busy and gave us an estimated date of when he could start. When they built our house 23 years ago, I don’t think anyone who worked on it owned a square or a level. Once Jacob removed the old shower insert, we could tell that the alcove was not square, and the walls were not plumb. Jacob told us that he would fix that, and boy did he ever! It is now perfectly square and plumb. Jacob is very meticulous in his work and good at explaining options and showing how the different options would look. Jacob is not only great at tile work, but he is also a master at finishing drywall. We asked him to remove the popcorn from the ceiling, and when he got done, it looked 10 times better than the other bathrooms that we had paid a “drywall” guy to do. Another great part of this job was Jacob’s care of the rest of our home while he was working. He covered the floors through the house so he would not scratch or dirty them as he walked through, and he swept and cleaned constantly. His dust extraction system is superb! When he finished, there was minimal dust outside of the bathroom which is amazing for all of the drywall finishing he did. I cannot recommend Madison Pro Services enough. We will be hiring him again when we are ready to do the guest bathroom. Top notch!

Jacob Wisemann came out and listened to our ideas, gave us very valuable suggestions on our design and material selections. We recently hired Madison ProServices to retile the shower in our master bathroom. From Jacob’s first visit to his last, we were impressed by his knowledge and suggestions. His recommendation sent us to a local source where an account manager helped us chose and coordinate the tile, grout, and finishings for our shower.

Jacob is a craftsman in the strictest meaning of the title. He takes great pride in his work and strives to make everything perfect. He began the job by covering and protecting all the surfaces from floor to countertops, taking special care with any areas his equipment might touch. To minimize dust in the work space and by extension your house, he uses an exhaust fan throughout the process.

He is meticulous in prepping the area to be tiled, ensuring all the surfaces are plumb and square before installing the tiles. As he works, he makes sure all tile and grout lines are straight, parallel, and match perfectly at the corners.

Our experience with past contractors didn’t prepare us for Jacob, who communicated with us throughout the project. He wanted us to know about the products he was using and why he used them. He also made sure we understood what he planned to do and approved.

Jacob was very professional and completed the job on time, even during some rain. I had a couple of deficiencies that needed to be corrected and Jacob did just that. He did some stucco work on the chimney and sealed it, cleaned all the windows from old caulking and re-caulked them, covered up some masonry work around the outside of the house, replaced some fascia boards, fixed our wooden fence, and even installed an anti-tip bracket on our range.
We were very satisfied with the quality of work, time that it took to complete the job, and the price was very reasonable. We would definitely recommend Jacob and will be using his services again in the future.

Jacob Wiseman of Madison Pro Services LLC is a breath of fresh air in the Alabama theater of home repair. I cannot recommend his company enough. From the start, he answered my phone call right away. He came earlier than expected for the free estimate. He provided that same day estimate via text within 24 hours. He was EXTREMELY responsive to text messages and same day calls. HE ANSWERS THESE CALLS HIMSELF. He doesn't have a salesman answering for him. He handles everything himself. Such a plus in my book knowing what I needed was being told to the person doing the job, not a salesman.
The job I hired him for? I put my leg through my attic through my utility room ceiling. He came the same day I called, gave me an estimate, and showed up within 48 hours to do the repair. The detailed estimate was reasonable and fair, he actually specified using screws vs. nails (which is a plus in my book), he arrived before his start time, he provided constant communication throughout the whole process, and went above and beyond in trying to do paint matches through several stores.
The end result? You would be hard pressed to see where that repair was done. He did a FANTASTIC job, was patient through our questions, kept his cool and worked out what wasn't going his way as things happen in construction. Top notch, quality work.
