Little Beach

Great family atmosphere. Teach children when they are young not to be offended by their own bodies. This is a natural, beautiful place. No harm whatsoever will come to them, and they will be the most free they have ever been. I promise you, they will thank you for these enlightened experiences when they are older. Nobody stares, it's just God's greatest gifts laid out before us, the majestic nature of Maui Beach.

Probably my favorite experience of the whole trip. We went on Sunday for the beach party. It was amazing. The openness of everyone was refreshing. The drum circle was amazing. Good vibes all around. Climbing the rocks was definitely easier while it was still light out but I would recommend 10/10. Would definitely go back on a Sunday.

Little Beach is now open but with many restrictions and will be monitored closely by authorities.

Update 1/11/21:
Little Beach is closed due to very large crowds partying without masks. A few ruin it for the rest of us. Shame on them.

2017: Little gem of a beach, fairly well known because of its clothing optional policy, so beautiful! The waves are serene, the water seems a deeper blue!
Park at Big Beach, where there is a local Taco truck and porta-potties, hike across the beach and over the hill to get to Little Beach. The hike is a bit difficult since recent rain has caused some damage, especially if you're carrying chairs, etc., and wearing flip flops, be careful. Put sunscreen on your buns🍔

Totally enjoyed my time at this beach! Clothes are completely optional so be warned! The sand in this place is just wonderful and plenty of it too. You do have to claim a bit to get to this side of the beach. There is some trails in the back of the beach that connect you to the other side of the park, if you have time you should walk along the trails. Often no one is back there. You can see Molokini and Lanai from here. The sunsets are beautiful and sometimes there is a drum circle when the sun goes down. Pretty rad place!

Such an amazing and secluded local beach. They have a drumming circle on Sunday nights but it seems that less people treat it like a nude beach then. We went back another night during the week and felt a bit more in place swimming nude without the large crowd and lack of nudity on Sunday night. Still it was an amazing experience both nights.

I loved Little Beach. It was my first clothing optional beach and I felt great. The place had a lot of people, but it was quiet and peaceful. The water was calm and the tide got a little stronger as the sun went down.

Sunday afternoon drum circle is amazing. Good people, great people watching, beautiful setting, and good vibes. This is a nude beach if that isn’t your thing. After the sun sets the fire show starts with fire dancers accompanying the drums. Gates close at 7:45, but you can park outside the gates if you might stay later and you save $10 on parking.

Cool beach. It was definitely a unique experience to be naked in the ocean. Everyone should try it at least once. It's like taking a bath in nature.

This is such a beautiful location, but take the signs seriously. I was pulled out slightly into the ocean and struggled to swim back in. If you are not familiar with this water I would not recommend going in more than knee deep

Went exploring for an adventure and o boy did we find one! Softest sand I've ever felt! Best place to catch body surfing waves also!

One of the best beaches we visited, not only does it have a family side but also a nude beach side, which you got to do a small hike over that big rock. But very clean place and the water was perfect. Sorry I can’t show you the nude side, but it was better then the family side. Highly recommend this beach and there was plenty of parking as well

Very lovely, small beach. Clothing optional and everyone is very respectful. Worth it for folks who want to frolic in the water but be prepared to be tossed in the waves! The currents and waves were no joke.

Easy to find using Google maps. Access is via Big Beach. You need to go thru a gate and climb up the steep rocky hill to get to this place. Warning: not for kids. Nudity is observed even with signs posting against it.

Great hidden beach! It's clothing optional, which was quite relaxing. Just people enjoying the beach in a bit of privacy from the much larger Big Beach next door. Either way, so long as you're cool with your body, it's a great beach to go to and just relax in the sun!
The climb over the cliff to get to it is a bit risky, just be cautious.

also riding the waves is super fun.
you can touch the ground in the water.
I would be here every evening if i lived there.

Best beach in Maui! Amazing sand, warm and calm waters. Life hits you differently at this magical place

Best beach in Maui IMO. The waves are great for intermediate body surfers/swimmers and the vibe of the beach is very friendly. The climb from big beach to little beach is easy for the able bodied person.

For first timers, the nudity varies by the day and by time. 85% topless/nude at the peak around noon to about 5-10% by sunset. On Sundays the topless/nude % is lower. Bring sunscreen, an umbrella, water, and an open mind. Leave your bathing suit and that judgy attitude at home/ the hotel.

Really wish I came here longer! One of my favorite beaches especially to watch the sunset!! I would come here on sundays ;)
