My first visit to Dr. Heffernan (Dr. H) today was handled in an excellent way from start to finish. She is very professional, polite, and thoughtful. Dr. H is a caring and knowledgeable physician with strong interpersonal skills. She listened to me carefully, answered all my questions, and gave clear instructions. An outstanding dermatologist! Her medical assistant and the front-desk lady were quite polite and helpful too. Thank you all.

I noticed a suspicious spot on my nose. I went to see Dr. Heffernan on the same day!
She did 2 biopsies. I would recommend her to anyone. She was very professional and yet, she took the time to answer all my questions. The staff at Forefront Dermatologists in Cary were wonderful too!

Dr H was great friendly and knowledgeable she explained everything and put my fears to rest . Also there was a very short wait time.

Dr. Heffernan removed basal cell carcinoma that was located right next to my tattoo. I told her I didn’t care if there was a scar in the tattoo. She completely removed the cancer, the radiology report indicated the margins were clear. The scar is unnoticeable and my tattoo wasn’t impacted.

First appt. with Dr. H. She's friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. It was a great first visit!
