Hill Learning Center has been the best academic decision I could make for my dyslexia/adhd child. Their program is phenomenal. They meet your student where they’re at. All of the staff go above and beyond to make the students feel welcome and ready to learn. The teachers are the best!
We love this school!

Hill is absolutely wonderful and helped my daughter make amazing progress in reading, writing and math during the summer. They made the experience fun, and most importantly, they instilled a level of confidence in our child that we had not seen for quite some time. The teachers are wonderful, caring, dedicated, and great communicators. I can't say enough wonderful things about our Hill Summer experience.

My daughter has benefitted greatly from her summer experiences at Hill (she has done both tutoring and summer school). Hill is a great bridge between academic school years to support her learning journey. Their program is enjoyable and still gives my daughter free time to relax and explore other interests.

My son just completed his 4th summer at Hill Learning Center. The individualized instruction in a 4-to-1 setting ensures that students get exactly what they need to gain new skills and be successful. The entire staff is amazing....committed, experienced, compassionate and invested in the children.

Very happy with our experience at Hill Center. The smaller class sizes were great, in our case, and very beneficial to the learning process. And, in our experience, the teachers have been fantastic. If any of us were fortunate during our time in school, we had an impactful teacher we may remember fondly for the rest of our lives. I believe our student has had that experience at HIll Center!

Our daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD in second grade. We were fortunate enough to have her dual enrolled at Hill and her home elementary school for her third-grade year. She was struggling with reading and math and was performing below her potential. The improvement was noticeable within the first month of her enrollment and progressed throughout the year. She ended the school year with a 5 (Superior Command) on her English EOG and a 4 (Solid Command) on her Math EOG at her home public school. I have zero doubt that the improvement was due to the staff and the Orton-Gillingham curriculum taught at Hill, as well as her hard work. The head of school, her teachers, and the entire staff exceeded our expectations. I can honestly say that every interaction with Hill was positive. The student-teacher ratio is 4 to 1, but there’s more to it. The teachers are amazing educators and love what they do. The staff goes above and beyond to help students. My daughter is now enrolled for fourth grade at Hill for 2024-25. In hindsight, this has been the best investment we could have made in her future and has made her a more capable and confident person.

I cannot share enough superlatives about Hill Learning Center (HLC).

We became aware of our son's learning difference (dyslexia) in 2nd grade and were encouraged by his teacher to explore HLC for 3rd grade. This was the single best decision we have ever made in support of our son's education.

Initially, we were hesitant and skeptical, as I'm sure many parents are when beginning their path to understanding learning differences. Reasonably, we did not want our son to feel different, attend a different school, or be treated differently. However, once we educated ourselves on the learning methodology of HLC, we quickly realized it was exactly what our son needed to excel. He thrived in the small classroom setting and with the individualized attention...and the teachers are like none other. They deeply care about and are invested in their students, not to mention they are skilled educators with the ability to teach students with learning differences. I'm continually amazed by the quality of the education at HLC.

Our son is now a rising 7th grader and his time at HLC is coming to an end. He is fully prepared to transition back to his base school full-time and has all the tools needed to be successful. If I could share one thought with the community at large, it would be to consider HLC for your child(ren) with learning differences. You won't be disappointed.

Teachers in middle school are great. In Highschool most the teachers gossip about the students such as who did poorly and even personal things such as who’s dad has cancer. Most of the students are nice but the social aspect isn’t great.

I knew a kid that acted out sometimes. He got in trouble a lot. It was little things like getting out of his seat or tapping the table/ kicking his feet, ect. But I watched this male teacher absolutely humiliate by screaming at him in the middle of class in the auditorium. He also grabbed this small kid by his shirt and pulled him out of class. Absolutely felt sick to my stomach and I cried. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE.

We applied. Twice. Our son is high functioning autistic. ADHD. They rejected him twice. They said they couldn't handle him. He had too much energy. They said the Hill Center wasn't the right place for him. I said you say you're a place that helps kids with autism and ADHD. Are you not that place? They said they couldn't help my son. What they want are easy kids. I visited the place three times. Never heard a peep coming out of any of the rooms. They don't want trouble. They don't want hard.
