UnityPoint Clinic Urgent Care - Marion

Best urgent care experience I’ve ever had. Dr. T Winters and all the nurses did great! I recommend scheduling to come in ahead of time. I barely had to wait.

I cut myself with a bread knife and needed a couple stitches. My nurse was sweet and easy to talk to. The doctor I saw was knowledgeable and extremely thorough with the whole process. I had to bring my 2 year old with me and the entire nurse staff kept him occupied; played with him, colored with him, and watched Bluey! All while I was in pain, getting stitches and unable to get up. Everyone was so kind and the experience was phenomenal.

Took my 87 yr old mother to this clinic for the first time yesterday and she received the best care from everybody we came into contact with. The receptionist, nurse AND doctor patiently listened to my mom, answered every question, and treated her with compassion, dignity, and respect. She was so thrilled by the way she was treated that she told us today that she wants to go back to this clinic for all her medical care from now on, because "every single person who works there is genuinely friendly and cares about their patients." How refreshing!

Update: I wish I could give this urgent care another 5 star review. I had to bring my child here because our pediatrician was full and he had a very high fever. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful from start to finish. Carissa ( I apologize if spelling is incorrect for her name here), our radiology tech (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name), and Dr. Winters in particular were so great. Carissa made my son feel comfortable, our radiology tech was so patient with my son and so kind, and Dr. Winters made sure he was tested for a less common potential cause of my son’s symptoms and now we have a diagnosis!
I can’t say enough about the kind knowledgeable medical care you receive here. Thank you so much for what you do.

I had a very positive experience with medical care here. Everyone I interacted with, the receptionist, nurse, and doctor, were kind and empathetic.
I don’t have a family doctor right now and they gave me a list of doctors accepting patients.
I came to see them as a second opinion after receiving subpar care from a different urgent care and Unity Point’s team performed diagnostics and helped me within 30-40 minutes.
They actually listened to me and provided treatment. I’m going to establish care with a family doctor but if I or my family have an urgent medical need we will be going to Unity Point.

Dr Hodge and his nurse assistants helped assist me in draining a cyst on my face. He and his helpers were very supportive, sympathetic and empathetic. They also were very attentive to my needs. I'm very thankful. Thank you Dr Hodge! -Summer

I was very pleased with my experience today at Unity Point Urgent Care in Marion. Maggie was very professional and pleasant while checking me in. The wait time was very short. A student MA took me back and did my vitals and was very thorough and friendly. Dr. Marlett was very kind and addressed my issue very quickly. Erin did my lab work right in the room which was nice not having to go over to the lab. She did it without really any discomfort so was very pleased! Such a great team at Unity Point Marion Urgent Care!! Definitely my go to!!

Everyone from the front desk to the nurses and Dr Winter were kind, listening and accommodating. The nurse had to remove huge ear wax build up and was professional, persistent and caring. It took quite a bit to loosen the ear wax but she continued to warm the water and check her progress. Dr Winters is so intelligent and personable. Fabulous experience.

Dr. Winters is great. Dr. Hodge is amazing with my one year old daughter! And she doesn't like anyone but her main doctor typically. Don't like Dr. Marlett, she seems to have an attitude and no idea what she's doing every time.

EDIT: I'm not sure if she was having bad days or not but I just saw Dr. Marlett again (we had not been there in quite some time) but she seems to have changed a bit and was very caring this time around! Thank you!

Dr. Winters was great with my nine year old. He didn’t talk down to her at all, instead he used age appropriate language. He also asked her all of the questions on how she was feeling, what symptoms she had, and when it started. I appreciated him treating her like a person instead of directing all questions and comments to me. We went during a quiet time, and were in and out in half an hour.

I was the first patient on a Sunday morning. The staff was all very friendly. Dr Hodge was kind, professional and I felt he truely listened to my symptoms and concerns. I appreciate the care this facility provided!

My son had a sore throat. We tried to get in another Urgent Care but they were full. Headed to Marion and it was a very easy check in process. We were in and out! Had to wait longer for the prescription to be filled at the pharmacy!

Dr. Winters and staff are extremely friendly and professional. Dr. Winters was very kind to me when I went in to Quick Care and I am a naturalist, so he not only was knowledgeable as a Dr., but he was knowledgeable in natural alternatives, which he took the time to put in my summary sheet. I was impressed by this because anytime I have ever asked a Dr. about natural alternatives, they scoff or are uneducated. Dr. Winters is an awesome Dr. and the experience I had here I would say was one of the best I have had concerning Dr.'s visits.

Dr Winters was once my PCP before transitioning over to Urgent Care. I've always had excellent appointments with him. When I'm concerned or need time to respond, he is patient and kind in her interactions and responses back with your concerns. I highly recommend him and this location!

I've had to use this urgent care clinic a few times recently & I must say that it was actually a pleasant experience! I had used this location a couple other times in the past & I felt super rushed by the doctor & just like a number. I'm not quite sure what happened in the last year or so but I have really noticed a big change there!
From the fact that you can schedule a time to go in, to all of the other departments they have right there on site, this really is a great place to go when in need of an urgent care setting!

Efficient and friendly, first time in awhile dealing with UnityPoint/StLukes, pretty impressive. I love that the urgent care has a scheduling option so I'm not sitting in a room full of sick people waiting to be seen. Staff and Dr were professional, Dr. was knowledgeable and shared smart info. Visiting a Dr is low on list of fun but this wasn't so bad.

Had an appointment today, made the appointment when I was on my way there, got there got checked in right away, no waiting. Doctor was very thorough, read my whole chart before coming into the room, asked questions about my history, and genuinely cared about making the correct diagnosis. Highly recommend.

It was very unfortunate I had to get seen for my Right Knee injury. But being seen here made it much more pleasant! Very clean, efficient, Courteous, friendly staff here! Doctor was awesome! If I have to get medical care, I will make it happen here! Thanks 👍 😊 MAK

Amazing. I had flu symptoms and used their web site at 7am Sunday to schedule an appointment at 9am. I was out of the clinic by 920, and had my results via their app, email, and phone call by 945. Staff was friendly and professional. One of the clerks was sanitizing lobby space when I arrived.

Loved the convenience of a quick appt on my scheduled. Having knee pain. Got right in and they were able to take an x-ray on site. Nurses, x-ray tech and urgent care doctor were all great.
