Iowa EyeCare

I’ve always had a great experience at Iowa EyeCare and have seen several of the doctors. My first appt was due to an emergency eye issue and they got me right in even though I wasn’t an established patient there yet. A second time I was having very bad eye pain, they got me in right away again. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Wait times have been minimal. Thanks for the great care!

Iowa Eye Care is great. They care about your eye health and it shows in their attention to my questions and needs. Everything is explained and their friendliness is above and beyond. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Francis has been my Dr for a very long time. He takes the time to explain everything to me. I’m a diabetic so he makes sure to explain to me what he is looking for in my scans. He is excellent.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. My doctor is conversational and answers any question I have.

Caring , friendly and helpful with all my needs. Great place to go. All staff answering all my questions. Found out I still had warranty on my glasses. Got a scratched lens replaced. thank you.

The service and the staff make visits to Iowa Eyecare actually something to look forward to. The entire staff is friendly and helpful and Dr. Francis is really good at explaining the results of the examination.

Easy and courteous check in process. All associates were were friendly. Dr Francis is very professional and takes time to explain your eye care.

Provided excellent options to correct the issues I have from RK surgery 30 years ago. The special contacts are exceptionally comfortable due to the careful attention to create the best fit possible.

Check in was quick, no issues. Wait time to see doctor was reasonable. I was given, what I believe, the right amount of time with the doctor. She checked my eyes to see if there was any change to my dry eyes, she checked my eyes to see if there was a need to change my current prescription . I appreciate the thoroughness of my appointment.

Dr. Francis is very knowlegable, personable, thorough, and professional.
He truly cares for his patients.
During the exam , he is very detailed and always takes time to listen carefully
and address any concerns I may have. He makes every visit fun and enjoyable.
We highly recommend Dr. Francis. He is a great asset to the Iowa Eye Care team and represents them very well.

Dr. Colander was awesome!! She's very thorough and very knowledgeable!! She really cares about her patients!! I would highly recommend her.
Jeri helped me pick out glasses and was very pleasant to work with. She took her time with me and didn't rush me picking out my new pair of glasses and was very helpful explaining the different options in my lenses.

Nice, comfortable waiting area. I highly recommend the group. My doctor is Dr. Collander, I have been seeing her for several years. She is very qualified, and professional, and listens to me! I would highly recommend her. I have also seen other doctors there and have been very satisfied with them.

After trying progressive lenses, I knew they weren't for me. Dr. Francis did a very thorough recheck appointment and we agreed a separate distance lens would work better for me - and let me tell you, these glasses have been a GAME CHANGER! I had no idea driving and watching sporting events could be so crisp and clear! And it was all because Dr. Francis LISTENED to my concerns and didn't pressure me to "just get used to" a lens that wasn't going to work for me. I appreciated making my concerns validated and coming up with a solution.

They have watched over my eyecare for years (back to Dr Noies). Timely, fast, efficient service.

Dr. Thornson and Staff did a great job at making me feel welcomed and still got me in when I went to the wrong location and had to drive across town, arriving nearly 30 minutes after my initial start time. They did a thorough job at examining me and asking the important questions. Would definitely recommend!

Everyone at Iowa Eye Care cares about you as a person and a patient, not just as an appointment. Dr Francis is knowledgeable, professional, and always takes time to ask how things are going with me and explain the results of the visit, not rushing through the appointment to get to the next patient.
