The Shell

So much fun for my 2 and a half year old, she even got to play on the gymnastics equipment! Well worth the 10 dollars for two hours. I only wish there were swings or a playground set.

This place is great for all ages! I bring my two-year-old and he has a blast! So much space and so many things to do! I go with my friends who have kids up to 9 years old and everybody loves it! And to make it even better the owners are interactive with the kids and are just great people! Highly recommend!

We had a blast this morning at The Shell! Friendly staff, great vibes, very clean, organized, and enough activities to keep kids entertained for HOURS!! 10/10 will be going back!!

My baby has so much fun at The Shell. There’s things to do for toddlers as well as kids a little older. Staff is very friendly and accommodating also. It’s one of our favorite places for sure!

Finding fun things to do with a toddler is hard in the winter, and even harder in a pandemic. When the timing works out, our son likes to take us to The Shell in Hiawatha. It's in an an indoor sports complex with a turf floor that's perfect for toddlers that have no concern for their own safety. There's lots of room to run (or push a giant ball around), a bunch of toys for all age levels, blow-up bounce houses, and COVID precautions in place to keep everybody safe.

My wife and I have brought our 2 year old son here twice now - we LOVED it. The Shell is a great space to allow your children to run free while allowing the "parental instincts" to relax a bit. The Shell has plenty for our son to do as well as plenty of wide-open space for him to just run as much as his heart desired. Great people running this business and this establishment. We will be back!

Large indoor play space. Great for our almost 2 year old. Guy who runs it is super nice and makes sure everyone is having fun. Wonderful place to go when it's cold or rainy out. Inflatables, cars, and assortment of toys to play with. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The Shell is a great place to take my 1 year old. One of the only places in town with things age appropriate for him to burn off energy & have fun. Jed is so friendly in interacting with the kids & creates such a welcoming environment. We will definitely be back!

I would highly recommend The Shell for a great place for your younger kiddos to run around and play. The staff interacted with the children to make their time more enjoyable. There were so many options for all skill levels. My 3 yo and 1.5 yo had a blast and we can't wait to go back soon!

The Shell is a wonderful place for young children to play and explore the world of sports! My kids love playing throughout the open space and utilizing the sports equipment that is perfect for their size! The Shell is a safe and nurturing environment for children to develop early athletic skills, or just to burn off all their extra energy. Perfect temps year round, along with clean facilities, at an affordable price. A must-try for families!

We love coming here to burn off energy! The atmosphere is very welcoming and communal. When winter hits again, I'd recommend that parents bring
themselves slippers. The floors are cold but it doesn't seem to bother the kids!

Love It ! Our two classes of preschoolers went there for a field trip. The kiddos had a blast . There was plenty of different activities for them to do and lots of room for fun and to move. Definitely will be returning.

Great indoor play space to entertain the little ones! Tons of things for them to do- bounce houses, bikes, toys, and lots of different sports to try out. They are being very careful with covid precautions as well. A much needed addition to the Cedar Rapids area for kids!

This place is amazing. Jed is super kind and love his vision for littles. It is a great place to allow your kiddos to burn off some energy and interact with other kids. Love how many things he has for the kids to play with! No other place in town like it. Love it !!!

The shell is a great place to take your kids to burn off energy! So happy there is an indoor space for kids to go, especially during the changing temperatures!
