Very clean and friendly, judgement free place to work out! Lots of equipment so you don’t have to spend time waiting for anything. I have kids in the summer speed and agility camp with Sam and has been an excellent boost to their athleticism. Sam works so well with the kids and gives great positive encouragement for them to get the most out of their sessions. Every staff member there always greets you with a smile and are always approachable for any questions.

Great gym and awesome equipment! Every time I come in I feel so welcomed! Kalliyah at the front desk always has a smile on her face ready to greet members. Only gym I recommend in the area!

I moved from Des Moines and was looking for a gym in Cedar Rapids-so glad I found the MAC Extreme and Allison Lorey, personal trainer.
Allison is highly skilled, helpful, and professional. She designed a workout program specific to my needs. I can now use the facilities and equipment in ways that improve my health and well-being. Thank you, Allison!

I love this gym, it’s has a daycare for when parents want to workout, suanas, steam rooms, massage chairs, pickle ball/basketball court, womens only workout room, and so much more. They are on top of machine maintenance. Highly recommend

The staff are nice, the facility is clean, I personally really like that there’s a women’s work out center. There’s just a lot of variety. And I’ve had a lot of memberships. I also currently have two gyms, and I think the MAC holds its own and has enough to offer that is unique to stand out and make it worth it to have that membership.

Karlie is a great opener. She opens the gym on time. She is always helpful when people need her. Karlie is nice to everyone she interacts with!

Joined the Mac after a few years of not working out. I’ve gone every day since signing back up. Best decision I’ve made in a while. I’m already down 10 pounds and am loving working out again.

I just started going to The M.A.C Xtreme and there is nothing like it. It has the nicest equipment and the staff always greats me so well. Would definitely recommend.

The MAC is like heaven!! A lot of angels here doing the lords work! Everyone is full of energy and love! I always feel welcomed! And they allow me to be myself!! Come join!!

Love this gym! There is a variety of classes to choose from with fun energetic instructors! The personal training staff are approachable and knowledgeable. Customer service desk is very welcoming. Kids club offers my kids a safe, clean and fun environment to play in. I love recovering from my work out in the sauna and hydrobeds!

I just joined and have been impressed with ease of the sign up process. There was no pressure, and I was given a tour of the areas most important to me. Entry into and exiting the facility is easy using a barcode assigned at sign up. That is great as you don't have to wait in line. I like the indoor pool for their water aerobics classes, and their hot tub and sauna. This is a top line facility, offering a whole line-up of group classes if one chooses. I find the building clean, up to date, offering a "women's only" workout room for those that prefer a more private space.

Can't miss a day, motivating atmosphere, friendly employees!!!. I love the steam room, once you are out of that room, you can feel the difference in mood, energy and more focused. The equipments are new and everywhere - no standing arround and waiting. Great job MAC management team and the owner. That is the reason why I have been with MAC for 18years, I encourage everybody to join and you will see how your life will change.

I love that they have child care! My kids love going to the gym as much as I do! They have so many workout options as well - fun group classes, a women’s only area, and full sized basketball court. The sauna and steam rooms are great too!

I’ve been a member and instructor at The MAC for many years. Well run gym with so many options to help with fitness goals. I truly enjoy the members. They are encouraging and welcoming to new members.
