Waffle House

Clayton at Waffle House 2227 was all alone and handled everything with the utmost professionalism and speed. This guy deserves a raise or one heck of a bonus for handling a restaurant full by himself. Food was amazing and quick. If Clayton is working I would suggest visiting the place.

I've only been to waffle house once before and it was 7 years ago. My wife and I went for dinner and got takeout to bring it home. Everything was AMAZING. I knew the waffles were great because that's what I had tried before. The waffle I got did not disappoint. I got biscuits and gravy. It was the very last of the gravy they had that night so it was more thick than usual but it was still good. If the gravy was fresh it would have been incredible. My wife got a chicken hash brown bowl and it was amazing how good it was. The chicken was tender and seasoned perfectly. Waffle house really surprised us with how good it all was. We were expecting average breakfast food and we were presently surprised with how good it all was.

EDIT: This is one of my favorite places to eat here now. The waffles are always amazing and the chicken is incredible in the chicken melt bowls is unbelievable.

This restaurant is very clean, inside and outside. I thought this was a brand new store. The servers were great!

We haven't eaten in the restaurant yet, but we got food to-go. It's so weird because it's not like all the food was immaculate and super flavorful, but at the same time it was all SO GOOD. It is the perfect comfort food. I got the grilled chicken melt hashbrown bowl and biscuits and gravy. The hasbrown bowl was good, the biscuits were good. I liked the flavor of the gravy, but the texture was super thick. Thicker than I would like my gravy to be, but I am wondering if it was because it may have been the last of what they had left at the time. My husband got a waffle and it was so fluffy and sweet. Everything was so good!

Came here for breakfast with the family. Our server Makayla was fantastic. She was very friendly and helpful. Our food came to our table in a timely manner. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back.

We brought a group of young people from Detroit on a College tour with our non-profit (Developing K.I.D.S.) and we stayed at a hotel near this Waffle House location. We decided to walk to Waffle House with 32 young people at 11 o’clock p.m. after the shock wore off of being overwhelmed, Angela and her crew took care of us, and the food was good! It up ended being a great night. Some of us danced and had a great time. Please visit this location in Madison, Al.

Lets be real the food is great is the place clean rarely but the food is great and the staff and customers make for a fantastic meal either by being down right pleasant or reminding me of watching reality tv

We eat at Waffle house everything my oldest son comes to town to visit, because they don’t have them where he lives. The service at most waffle houses is great and the staff are always friendly. Tonight they went above and beyond. There were 16 people in our party. There was only one waitress and one cook (I wish I had gotten their names). They were remarkable. Food was prepared in a timely manner and tasted wonderful. The waitress stayed on top of drinks and getting all the food out with a smile on her face. The waitress was thankful that they were busy….because all the tables were full of customers and when we left another large group walked in. She remarked that God was blessing her today with all the customers.

I have to praise the middle-aged black female clerk for her really good service. The food was good. Except for the hash browns, which were a bit cold, everything else was good. She accidentally spilled the hot water and burned my feet. I was irritated two or three times during the ice application. Am I okay? very considerate
A child accidentally spilled salt all over the floor. When I was cleaning up, she asked me not to clean it up and she just swept it, which was very heartwarming.

The cook with the dreads on 3rd shift is the best. He didn't have much help(only him & one other person), but he made everybody that walked through the door feel welcome. The Steak, Eggs with cheese, my Toast, and Hashbrowns he fixed me was off the Chain... the server looked a little lost but over all my food was Great I ate everything

First time going to a Waffle House and I loved it. Waitress went above and beyond for my family.

The waffle house staff is excellent, as always at this location. The friendliness of the waitress was outstanding. She offered whipped cream for my coffee, which was something that she did not have to do. Her attention to detail was phenomenal!

Been coming here for years and always come on the Monday evening shift. We've been through multiple waitresses and all have been good. The cook those evenings has never changed except due to rare illness or vacation and he's the best of any waffle house by a long shot

Quann was a great help from what I saw he cleaned the store, took all the orders and served the food. Why does waffle house only have one person working saturday night?

Genuinely cannot say how thankful I am for the people that work at this Waffle House. I got to see a small snippet of what they sometimes go through and my god how awful. Some of these “customers” but I struggle to consider them people because of how rude they can be to another human. You’re not better than them just because they’re a server or a cook at a restaurant that doesn’t make you more valuable as a person just because they’re a server or a cook.

I believe his name is Micheal, seems like a good guy, I genuinely appreciate what he and both of the other people he was working with this morning were trying to do despite the workload and torment they receive seemingly more often than they should.

I loved the All Star Breakfast. It was cooked to perfection. My server, Nichole Howard, was right on point with excellent customer service. I will be returning soon.
