Montessori School Of Madison Reviews

Montessori School of Madison is an excellent school which provides meaningful education and a wonderful flourishing atmosphere to the young impressionable minds. The best part about the school are the extremely dedicated teachers. They spend tremendous amount of time and energy in imparting practical knowledge in fun ways which kids enjoy and soak in. Another real nice part is plenty of Outdoor time for the kids, which I feel so essential for their development. I had all my kids go through the entire series of classes and would recommend this school to all the young families. The best part is, of course, without a doubt the Director, Miss Ruhi. Meeting her once is enough to know why. She is an angelic figure for the children in the school.

Ms. Ruhi and Team at Montessori school of Madison are simply amazing. My toddler has been to 3 daycares/preschools in hsv and she loves it here. She is always excited to go to school in the morning and always exclaims that she’s had a great day at pick up!

I would rate the Montessori School of Madison even higher if I could. The director, Ruhi, is an astonishingly compassionate, intelligent, and dedicated leader. She is an inspiring role model not just for the children who attend her school, but for everyone who has the privilege of meeting her. Every teacher at the school has been consistently loving and dedicated to providing an atmosphere that any child can learn in. My son has learned so much in his time at the school, and I have always felt confident that he is safe and loved in their care. I recommend MSOM to all of the parents in my life, and my daughter will be attending as soon as she is old enough!

MSOM is a wonderful school with amazing, caring, dedicated teachers. Between our children, we were there for over five years. We are fortunate to have this school and these teachers in our area.

We’ve been going to MSOM for almost 3 years and I can’t say enough good things about the school. The teachers truly treat the students like their own children. The education goes above and beyond, tailored to each child.

We’ve been part of the Montessori School of Madison community for over 2 years so far and have been very impressed by the school’s commitment to providing an educational and stimulating environment for our kids. They have a huge variety of Montessori style toys/work. I’ve been really pleased with how my kids are progressing with numbers, reasoning, shapes, puzzles, letter sounds, etc, and I have no doubt that their time at Montessori is playing a big role in that.
It’s not just about academics and cognitive development - they do an exceptional job at reinforcing good social habits and behaviors, which is very important to me as a parent of a 2 year old and 4 year old who are, naturally, still learning how to best interact with other kids and with teachers and authority figures.
One of my favorite things about being at a school that utilizes the Montessori method is that, despite being different ages, my kids can be together for much of the day since the preschool ages are in the same environment.
It is clear to me that the teachers are passionate about what they do, as I see that translated into how they treat and work with my kids each day. This small school has “heart” and I am appreciative of the role it is playing in my kids’ early childhood education.
*Update 3 years later:
My kids are now 5 and almost 7 and still at Montessori, and my son just completed 1st grade. Miss Ruhi and all of the teachers have been incredible blessings in our lives - they have truly loved and poured into our children like they were their own.
In 1st grade this year, they were taught to write stories, do multiplication, and calculate perimeter and area. They learned about historical figures, and they did all kinds of science experiments, weekly yoga, reading, etc. We were always impressed with how his time was filled when at school, and how much he learned.
Academics are great, but perhaps more importantly, they foster an environment of children learning how to interact with each other with kindness - they use the “bucket dipper” concept - and I truly believe that my kids being in this sweet environment in their young developing years has benefitted them greatly, both behaviorally and educationally!

My oldest was supposed to enter K during Covid, and we chosee to homeschool for medical concerns. It was going to be a huge transition into public 1st. We opted for Montessori for the smaller class size and individualized program to smooth the transition and it has been nothing short of amazing. We will be continuing here through 3rd
