If you need mushrooms, these are your guys! They were so sweet and let us tour the farm. Currently they have 4 variety of mushrooms, but they also sell veggies and lamb feasts here! We’ll definitely be back in the future to try the lamb feast!

It’s a special place. Probably the only tent shelter in the neighborhood. It can serves around 20 adult people per day. So you have to book as a group in advance for almost three months I guess. The place is gorgeous, and the owners here are friendly and warm-hearted. It definitely worths the longtime wait.

This organic mushroom farm is right next-door to Sugarloaf Mountain and the winery. I highly recommend that you stop bye for fresh organic mushrooms, and vegetables. You can smell how fragrant the vegetables are. You can’t get this at a grocery store these days for these prices. They are a locally owned farm and even supply restaurants in the DMV area. They also have a space / tent to host parties up to 15 and have a set menu if you decide to host an event there.

I will be back for sure!

We were driving by this farm on our way to a hike and decided to stop on the way back.

It was a great spur of the moment idea!

Very inconspicuous but once you are greeted and taken into the area. The gentleman is very kind and shows you their newly established mushroom farm. He is very informative and answers any questions you may have. They have a great fresh selection!

You can also purchase logs to try your hand at growing mushrooms. This is a must stop location!

Farm lives up to its name. We came across Happy Farm on our way to Sugarloaf. Seeing the mushroom farm sign and being avid mushroom eaters, we had to stop by. A pleasant surprise to see various types of mushrooms (shiitake, oyster, lions mane) all grown inside the farm. Prices are fair and they also sell by the log. The staff were all kind and friendly. We ate the mushrooms the same day and day after, and they were deeeeelicious. Can’t wait to go back!!

I usually drive past this place when I go to Sugarloaf Mountain. Only recently, I decided to stop by because I was curious. It was definitely worth the stop because I got some shiitake and oyster mushrooms! They're decently priced too. Great place to get some locally grown mushrooms! I also enjoyed the short tour the owner gave us.

It’s a great family-friends gathering time. Owner is very helpful and friendly. All the dishes are organic and family owned farm raised. You could stay there whole day, enjoy the escaping time. Highly recommend for hosting a private event.

Often hear about this farm. A friend told me it is giving away free Chinese chive/leek roots for people to plant at home garden. I drove nearly 20 miles there this evening and got a whole bag of it! Fully enough for our little family patch of land! And the farmer has kindly told me how to plant the roots correctly back at home while helping me sorting out and cutting clean the roots. Thanks Happy Farm!

We found this farm on the drive home from visiting Great Falls. It was such an unexpected and fun stop! They have 4 different types of mushrooms and we got to step inside and see the growing process in action. I was thrilled to see they had Lions Mane mushrooms- I always seek these out when foraging and have not found any in years. I was so glad we could buy it and I could share the taste with my husband!

Good place to get food, we spent a morning and afternoon eating cooked lamb and picking fresh mushroom. They even stood up a bounce house for us. Don't believe the PETA garbage from years ago, they don't even raise their own animals anymore (other than a few house pets)

Amazing little place we were happy to pass ok the way to Sugarloaf Mountain. A cool, educational look at how mushrooms are farmed domestically.
Beautiful mushrooms for reasonable prices sold by a friendly man. We will we back!
