Capital Hot Tubs & Saunas

We love our HotSpring Flair hot tub and have been enjoying it for over 2 years now. It met all the criteria - space for 6, full body lounge, foot jets (family of runners), neck jets, salt water system (I hail from the Mediterranean and salt water is the way to go!). The limelight collection is even better than I imagined it would be. Sometimes we select one color and other times we just let it rotate through all the colors. Glad to have finally made this purchase back at the end of 2020 - the hot tub is so therapeutic and relaxing. I especially enjoy it on frigid nights during winter when the sky is clear and I can star gaze for as long as I want. :)

Everyone at Capital Hot Tubs has always been wonderful. Purchase, delivery, and installation all went smoothly. Anytime we have needed assistance, they are quick to respond whether it is a question about a replacement part or water quality or even when an exterior panel needed to be repaired, the staff go above and beyond. We are fortunate to live close by as well. Our filters needed to be replaced last week so I just stopped by on a whim and Evelyn was very kind and helpful (Hi and thank you again, Evelyn! I enjoyed chatting with you about hot tubs, family, and pets, too!). :)

Jamie (my wife) and I are thrilled with our 2024 Hot Springs Pulse!! Plenty of space, huge variety of jets, salt system was effortless to get up and running. Our “Spa Specialist at the Clarksburg location, Jason, was knowledgeable, credible, and made our spa shopping experience a joy!! Jason also helped us with spa set up, delivery, electric, and water chemistry…we were “hot tub’n” in no time. Thanks to Jason, Meghan, and the whole Capital Hot Tubs team…life changers for sure!!!

Capital Hot Tubs has been a pleasure to work with. From picking out the model we want all the way thru install, we could not ask for better service. Our sales person Alex was a joy to work with and every time we have called for anything we have been treated great.

We’ve had a hot tub for 35 of the last 38 years and decided to downsize to a saltwater hot tub. We shopped around and settled on Capital Hot Tubs in Clarksburg, in an effort to shop locally and because of their reputation in the community. We met Alex and he took us on a tour of the various hot tubs, explaining features and upgrades as we went along. We decided on a floor model and Alex gave us a good deal. He answered all our questions that day, and then more the following day. Alex has been accessible and professional. We look forward to the install and will update this review over time. Wow! The hot tub is wonderful. It heated up quickly, the remote is easy to operate, and the jets are perfectly located to hit all the sore muscles. Enjoying it on a cool evening is the best. It’s the perfect size for us and we look forward to using it several times a week. Thanks for the tutorial on how to operate the tub and getting us set up to enjoy it.

We are current Hot Springs Grandee owners and long-term Capital Hot Tub customers. Because of the imminent installation of our new deck, now seemed like a good time to trade in the current Grandee for a new one. Jeff in your Clarksburg office worked with us for nearly two hours this morning to show us variations of the current Grandee models (including the NXT), their features, color combinations, and various options. We decided on a new Grandee NXT with a salt water system – and in the course of our discussion, I asked about a possible military discount (I served 25 years on active duty in the US Army). Jeff informed us about a new program that Capital Hot Tubs has initiated with the Bethesda Naval Support Activity (NSA) Navy Exchange (NEX). First – what a great idea! According to the NEX Manager, Andrea, we were the first customers to purchase a Capital hot tub at the NEX (located in Bethesda off of Wisconsin Avenue just as you enter the Jones Bridge Road entrance on the left). We presented the Sales Order that Jeff provided us (that already removed the sales tax of ~$930) and took this to the Personalized Service Desk (just turn right as you enter the NEX). Though we had to work through a couple of initial speed bumps because of the newness of the program, Andrea came to the rescue and was able to successfully complete the transaction. We also applied for a Military Star Card (generally, the credit limit on these is ~$8,000 and, because the Star Card offers a 10% discount on all first day transactions (reflected in the first month's bill), this saved us another $820. Bottom line: This is a super program for active duty and military retirees, and can save eligible Capital Hot Tub military customers quite a bit of money (certainly worth the trip to Bethesda from Chantilly, VA). I wanted to thank you for setting this program up with the NEX. It provides quite a strong incentive for military customers to shop with you (especially to get a Hot Springs hot tub - what I believe are the best hot tubs on the market). I have attached a picture of your kiosk that sits in the middle of the NEX. Again, thanks to Jeff for making this a completely positive experience and we can’t wait to get into our new Hot Springs Grandee NXT.

Everything from sales to installation was top notch. I purchased a Hot Springs Grandee and it was delivered September 2022. I have used it almost daily since and it is a wonderful product. Their service after delivery is great too. We had a windy winter storm knock out our power and a component froze (it was extremely windy and 4 degrees F) and they had the part replaced quickly and under warranty.

This is our 2d Hot Springs Spa (previously purchased one of the original round units 20 yrs ago in a previous home) It was either going to be a smaller pool or a hot tub this time for our new home. The back massage feature is great. And the Salt water option is the way to go. You will sleep a lot better at night after using this spa.

I just purchased a beautiful hot tub that has not been delivered yet. BUT I didn't want to wait to rave about this company and all the staff. During my initial visit, Alex Kohler explained everything I needed to know about my hot tub and answered a gazillion questions with patience! I was a hot tub owner 30 years ago so a lot has changed! I love that Capital Hot Tubs can handle everything that I need for delivery to my townhouse patio and I plan on using their recommended electrician. Probably most impressive is what just happened. I applied for the credit card to get the 36 month 0% interest financing but the credit line approved was not enough to cover the cost of the tub. Alex asked for my permission to contact the credit card company to advocate for a higher credit limit. Literally within 30 min or so, he sent me an email that I was approved to cover the entire tub. Granted, the quick turnaround was due to the credit card company, but WOW. I cannot wait to get my hot tub. I feel great about my purchase from such a terrific company, and I truly do not anticipate any problem that they will not resolve. Quickly and appropriately. Thanks so much!!

We purchased a new hot tub virtually during the beginning of the pandemic. The salesman was friendly but not overly pushy, which we appreciated. The delivery was on time and accommodating to our schedule - the hot tub was beautiful and in perfect shape. We did have some initial issues getting the chlorine generator to work, but the service department sent out two reps very quickly and got it working perfectly. We have loved spending evenings in the new tub!

My husband & I had a great experience buying our hot tub from Capital Hot Tubs! Alex was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable & helped us make the best choices. There was no pressure & we felt like we could take our time deciding. The set up in the store is very welcoming. You can bring your bathing suit & try out the hot tubs. Alex came and fixed the problem with my hot tub in a very professional and timely manner. He was able to also explain to me possibly what might have went wrong, and some preventative measures to keep my tub running smoothly. Very grateful to have met him and the company should keep this tech on! He was great to work with (I have certainly had bad experiences with techs). Five stars for Alex and Capital Hot Tubs .

The process of buying our new hot tub has been smooth and easy.
From the first inquiry to the approved financing, to viewing the showroom models and learning about the different options available, Alex and John were both informative and very knowledgeable about the spas they sell. We selected the Grandee and we are very excited as we anticipate the arrival of our new hot tub.

Our experience with Capital Hot Tubs and Saunas was amazing from first inquiry to final installation. Alex helped us find exactly the right model and then the scheduling department did a fantastic job of organizing including delivery to our cabin and coordinating with a crane operator to get it up on our tall deck. Larry was a great help with the installation They even helped straighten things out when the electrician had some questions. The hot tub is beautiful and everyone loves it. And I feel very confident that if there’s any problem down the road they will be there to help out. I am so happy that I chose them!

We purchased a hot tub from Capital Hot Tubs in March 2018. I will update this review after install. The Sales Associate, Alex, was very personable and knowledgeable. The company primarily specializes in 1 brand, hot springs. I brought my five children into the store to test the tubs out back. This proved to be absolutely essential as we ended up buying a different model than I had chosen on paper. Everyone was very kind. Alex gave me favorable pricing.

Outstanding customer service. First, they fixed my hot tub, which is over 30 years old. Moreover, they helped me weigh the pros and cons of getting a new hot tub, with absolutely no pressure. Second, communication with the office to set up a repair appointment was excellent: clear and knowledgable about my service history, while trying to accommodate my needs on timing. Finally, Jay, the technician, not only fixed my tub, but was very clear in explaining the problem, also making it easy for me to contact him with any follow-up questions. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

I bought a hot tub in March 2021 and it was delivered in August 2021 due to the supply chain backlog. The first few months were a bit daunting, learning how to fill, drain and care for the water but thanks to Alex Muchiri, I always feel confident that I have support and sound advice just a phone call or text away. It's easy to buy a hot tub, but harder to learn to maintain it. Alex is an expert. He is a very patient man because I make long lists of questions and he patiently listens to each question and then calmly explains the answers. I have always had a positive experience when Alex comes to the house for a service call or talks to me by phone or text. As I have learned, the important thing with a hot tub is to be supported by a team of experts. Excellent service is key to being happy with a new purchase. I highly recommend Alex if you need a service call!

We had a really great experience with our hot tub purchase today at the Clarksburg location. Alex was very clear and easy to work with. He took a lot of time to show us around, and made everything very family friendly. We brought our 3 year old to the show room, and Alex and the other salesman were very accommodating and friendly. Our son had a fantastic time trying out both the empty hot tubs in the showroom and the working tubs in the back. They were very nice to let us try out each of the hot tubs to see which fit us best, and were very clear about the pros and cons for each. The price was reasonable and they worked with us to give us a good deal that was competitive with other dealers we've checked out. There was no hard sell, although they did give our son a squeaky toy that really helped clinch the deal.
