Walkersville Eye Care has been my go to for any eye related issue for the last 30+ years. The staff is friendly and treats you like family. Even 'dumb' questions are answered with patience. Staff operates like a well oiled machine --- I've never had to wait more than a few minutes from the appointment time to start the check up process. Definitely a positive change from the chain style optometrists.

Took both my children for their first eye exams. Doctor was great did full exams and worked very well with my children. He was funny too and made us all laugh. My mother and I both love and prefer this office as well. So when I found out that my children needed to see an eye doctor I chose this one even though there was a month or so wait time to be seen. It was worth the wait. Picking out glasses for both kids was fun and easy too. All the staff was wonderful.

I entered the business with my elderly mother and she was greeted by Tammy who checked her in with a smile and friendly greeting. Only a moment later Dr Allgaier escorted her back to the exam room where he patiently reviewed her new glasses and reevaluated her vision. He has a warm way about him that made her feel very comfortable and confident in his ability. I would highly recommend this business to anyone seeking an outstanding level of eye care.

Everyone in this office is very friendly and professional. The office is clean and bright. They make sure they explain every eye test and do the best to make sure you are comfortable. They don't push a hard sale, they let you walk around and find what you like also making nice suggestions. Dr. Patel is great! My 2nd time getting eye glasses here and hope to not go elsewhere!!

My wife and I have been going to Walkersville Eye Care for nearly 30 years! The staff there is always very polite and professional, and Dr. Allgaier is the absolute best! He is not only extremely thorough and Professional, he is also one of the most pleasant men I have ever known. His caring and compassion is extraordinary and so rare at any doctor’s office these days. Although there are numerous Eye Care clinics closer to where we live, the trip to Walkersville Eye Care is always worth it - Very reasonable fees, excellent service, and compassionate, skilled practitioners!

Great place. I used to go to Walkersville Eye Care from since I can remember until 2002 and always liked the care I received. I got LASIK in 2002 so I didn't need to return until 2024 because I needed an eye exam to renew my license. The care I received was still great if not better than before

Walkersville eyecare is a hidden gem. This was my first time here .The people were amazing from check-in to check out. Dr Allgaier explain everything in depth and even took the time to update the MVA for my license renewal. The personalized Service picking up my frames was very helpful. I will definitely be coming here again.
