I had the pleasure of working with Suburban Video at a recent wedding, and I can't say enough good things about them! Shawn, the owner, was also the brother of the bride and officiant, and he and his team went above and beyond to capture every cherished moment. They were such a joy to work with—super friendly, approachable, and true team players, which isn’t always the case with every vendor. As a DJ, we have to work closely with the photographers and videographers and as I said, friendliness isn't always received, but that was sure not the case with Suburban Video. Their experience shone through as they always seemed to be in the right place at the right time, asking all the right questions and ensuring nothing was missed.

What really stood out to me was Shawn’s dedication. He called me a week before the wedding just to make sure their audio personnel had access to our equipment for backup audio during the ceremony and speeches. That level of care and professionalism is rare and truly appreciated. I highly recommend Suburban Video to anyone looking for a videography team that’s not only skilled but a pleasure to work with!

Shawn has been doing the video of our school's graduation at Washington National Cathedral for years. He always arrives early and is set up before we even get there. He captures the grandeur of the cathedral as well as all of the unique details of the space. Our commencement ceremony is long but Shawn makes the recording feel very personal for every family. He captures up close video of each student receiving their diploma and special moments among the students. Shawn professionally edits the video and returns it to us in a timely manner every year so we can share it with our alums and their families. I've consistently been very happy with Shawn's work and would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a videographer.

Bill Bowen and his great team at Suburban Video did an outstanding job capturing all the wonderful memories from our daughter’s wedding. He expertly produced a phenomenal Next Day Edit (1 min), Highlight Film (8 min) and a Long Film (2 hrs) of both the ceremony and reception while working within pandemic and venue restrictions. His work is exemplary, and he produced the highest quality videos and captured every important moment during a nine-hour magical wedding. Bill and his team were so easy to work with, and we appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail – they did such a fantastic job! Shawn’s editing was excellent, and the final product was perfect in every way. We are glad our photographer so highly recommended Bill and his team. We will be forever grateful for all their terrific work that will preserve for a lifetime our memories from our daughter’s beautiful wedding!

I've worked with Suburban Video for a couple years for videography and editing signature political events in Washington, D.C. and nationwide and they've provided us with excellent service every time. The Brown family had a major event in October and used Suburban Video to capture all the memories of this milestone event...and boy were they captured. The actual footage itself was outstanding - they did not miss a moment working tirelessly to capture the mood, sentiment, reaction and all the major moments. Then afterwards, working to compile and slim down the four our event into a 6 minute highlight video and two+ hours of memories, a true pleasure to work with. Great experience with multiple programs with the Suburban Video team! Professional crew take the “lift” off you onsite and produce excellent programs. Seamless A/V is always our goal - slides queued, music timing spot on, lighting transitions just right - and they deliver! Prep work lead by Bill ask all the questions you don’t want to have to think about because you’re too busy! - but that ultimately get the right equipment and crew through the door to produce a great show. Highly recommend.
