I recently converted the garage attic to a dressing room and spent 3 weeks trying to work with closet companies who just couldn’t handle the arched ceiling within the room. I reached out to Priscila at Frederick Carpentry about getting a quote and she responded immediately - she asked for measurements of the room, photos of the space, and inspiration photos and gave me a quote over email which was so much easier than having a consultation within the house. I was very specific with my room measurements and the design idea i had, so i found the estimate was pretty spot on and on par with the closet companies, yet Frederick Carpentry could clearly handle the arched ceiling. Frederick Carpentry came for an on-site consultation to get final measurements after choosing I signed the contract and they were the only ones who thought to bring wood to cut on site to illustrate to me what the cabinetry built into the ceiling arch would look like. It was very comforting to know they understood what i was looking for and could show me with sample wood so i could visualize the proposed heights of the shelve and hanging rods. Another advantage Frederick Carpentry had over the closet companies was their timeline for installation was much shorter (they proposed 8 weeks when the prefabricated closet companies said it’d take 14-16 weeks). Frederick Carpentry was on time with the installation and even wrapped up a day earlier than estimated - each day of installation, they thoroughly cleaned the space they worked in as well as areas of they passed through with materials and tools. They were very caring about working in my personal space since it is was off the bedroom and working from home during installation was no issue. I enjoyed the entire process with Frederick Carpentry and I have a deep appreciation for how much work went into the custom cabinetry to make the space exactly as I envisioned. They clearly communicated with me each step of the process and when I wasn’t sure what choice to make (such as hardware), Priscila was very helpful with recommendations that all matched my ascetic. In the end, Frederick Carpentry made my dressing room dreams come true.

Frederick Carpentry did a great job installing our built-in bookshelf. They were highly professional, very responsive. We enjoyed working with them, from start to finish. Where to start....
Upon my initial request of interest, we were immediately given attention which was amazing.

We were prompted with all the right questions, ideas we wanted to transpose to the new casework, and feasibility of our ideas. Most importantly, honest opinion and insight was provided. We provided pinterest photos of what we liked as well as given ideas from Frederick Carpentry to enhance our own ideas.

Once we signed an agreement, installation dates were provided well in advance which allowed us to plan with our two small children during the installation dates. Renderings of design were provided shortly after our consultation (consultation was onsite and measurements were performed at that time) and comments were made, noted, and changed. The renderings were CAD with measurements and detailed. They provided a very realistic expectation and it was very appreciative.

The installation dates were kept and met which is very important and recognized by us. We were told that they would start at 7AM and they arrived at 6:45AM. Coming from Frederick to Severna Park, I was impressed with their promptness.

The installation was extremely clean and professional. No messes after they were done, no residual dust within our home. Not even a misc. screw or brad left on the ground. Truly like they were never there with a full crew/ team doing the installation....except we now have a beautifully installed casework.

As soon as they were finished, my wife and I started to look throughout the house for other projects we could potentially use Frederick Carpentry on again.

As a commercial contractor, I can genuinely say that Frederick Carpentry's business is top notch. Start to finish. Highly recommend and hope they continue to make others happy like us.
