Road Toad Towing

I was stuck in the mountains by Lake Tahoe waiting for a tow in the dark when Steve came and saved my day! This is a family owned business and Stave made me and my girlfriend very comfortable and safe in the tow all the way to Davis. Excellent driver and fast and efficient. Got us home in a non stop trip. Thank you so much to Steve and his family for excellent service and tow.

Steven was amazing! I was still waiting over 2 hrs for the original tow company. I called them to see if they could help. Steven was there within 20 mins. He dug my car out of the snow and got me back on the road in 5 mins! I'm so grateful ❤ thanks again, Steven!

Car got stuck in a patch of ice on my way to my Airbnb in Pollock Pines. Steve happened to drive by and give me a hand. He got my car unstuck and made sure I got somewhere safe. Steve's an outstanding guy. Could not recommend him or his business enough.

My car started rattling uncontrollably and started swerving. I had to stop and with the help of my mom(I was frazzled) found Road Toad. Steve was excellent and down to earth. He even figured out what was going on with my car. He got me to safety and followed up before he left. Thank you Steve for your patience and grace.

Amazing service, Steve was so helpful and did the above and beyond most! Super nice and the right guy for any job you'd need help with. Got my motorcycle towed by Steve, he got to me quick and got me home quick. He made sure my bike didn’t get any damage during transport. He was just a good guy, I can recommend this tow company to anyone.

OMG!!! I highly recommend this company! Steve is a saint! His wife also was amazing to get everything arranged. AAA Roadside Service was a no show twice!....leaving our car stranded alongside the road for a week because they wete over loaded with calls! Forget AAA! Call Road Toad Towing! They are good, honest people who truly care!

The other day, I was up in pollick pines for work, I drive a tractor trailer, delivering goods to local restaurants and schools, it began to snow heavy as I was delivering to pinewood elementary, when I left, the streets where covered in snow. My truck got stuck, couldn’t move , tires spinning, as I call my dispatch team, Steve, the owner of toad towing pulls up, and ask if I was stuck, i explained, I was , and that I was on the phone with dispatch, he said , I will get you out, I was kinda shook, couldn’t believe the offer,
I from the city, so it’s rare to have that kinda offer, he hooked me to his truck, mind you I am in a tractor with a 28 foot trailer, partially still loaded, he gave it all he had, and eventually was able to get me out, still can’t believe the kindness of Steve, stand up guy, if your in the pollick pines area, this the guys.

Super fast service! When AAA told me that it would take 2 hours to help me, they told me 5 minutes and were there in more like 3! Got me on the road so fast with my Ice only minimally melted haha. Would use again!
