BURGER BARN

Best burger we've had since moving to California. The cheesecake shake is ridiculously good. The stuffed burgers are definitely the way to go. Service was perfect. Food was great. Prices were fair. We'll be back.

Great experience at Burger Barn! Beer, battered, garlic, fries were amazing! Onion rings are crispy and delicious.
Burgers were definitely satisfying, well, seasoned and not overdressed with stuff.
I will stop here again someday

Wow! They have a beyond burger for a vegan option, which was cooked to perfection with a crispy outside. The fries were delicious! Service was amazing! I really enjoyed their patio. Prices were affordable.

The perfect stop on the way to Lake Tahoe! My Vegan burger was cooked perfectly: crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The patio is fun, comfortable, and shaded from the sun. This will be a regular stop for us.

Terrific burger & fries! We stopped in route from Tahoe & enjoyed the food, inviting service & shakes are delicious. Burger Barn gets busy with the small gracious staff.

All the servers were super nice & welcoming, we went at their slow hour so we didn't have to wait too long(although the food is definitely worth the wait) nonetheless,

This place has some good burgers. The beer battered fries and crisscut fries are delicious. Price isn't bad at all. It is a tiny spot. Groups bigger than 4 will have to sit at separate tables, although they do have outside seating so you could push some tables together if you want. Highly recommend if your passing through Pollock pines or want something close to apple hill without apple hill prices.

Not the most glamorous looking place, but honestly I don't really care, the food was amazing. We had a couple of burgers and they tasted really good, also the vegetables in them were fresh. I had a bacon blue burger and it had a big chunk of blue cheese inside, unlike other places that give you a "blue cheese sauce" or similar that you can barely taste.

Great Mom and Pop burger joint. Knew the onion rings were gonna be spot on as soon as I walked in. Friendly and accommodating staff. Burger was tasty, just wish I had the time to try the stuffed burger...there's always next time.

Had a really good experience here the burgers are good. The food was great for myself and my family, the staff was polite and fun. I will recommend

GREAT hole in the wall joint that's worth the stop off of Hwy. 50! Hubby and I both loved our meals. Worth the wait if they are busy. Love the Waffle fries!

The service here was beyond excellent. You walked up to a window to order.. they practiced social distancing. Dining was available outside. Abby was our server..I would give her 10 stars. She was sweet. She brought our food out to us when it was ready. We ordered the Swiss Mushroom 🍄Double Cheeseburger and the Spicy Jalapeños and Habanero Double Cheeseburger, large fries, Fried Mushrooms 🍄 , Fried onion 🌰 rings and a large Pepsi. I would recommend The Burger Barn to everyone visiting Pollock Pines. WE were happy and stuffed.. no room for dinner. Today is Chris's Birthday.. we were planning on eating dinner later but were completely full!! Thank you Abby for your excellent service.

Yummy, 1 pound burger was good but way to big. Restaurant was cheap. Only 100$ for 6 people!! Other than this it was average.

I had the western dubble burger and the ground beef was so juicy and delicious

Very yummy. First time I've been there. Saw it online months ago, but was in town after they closed. Happened to be passing thru and remembered I wanted to give it a try. So glad I did. They are the best. The whole family was glad we didn't go to some other fast food place. The price was just right too.

Bacon Blue Burger and Onion Rings, on a beautiful sunny deck in the forest! Can life get much better than this? Now off to hike on the Cedar Park Trail, the perfect after-lunch walk. Worth the extra drive to get above the crowds and traffic jams of Apple Hill. (Still love it, but just sayin’) 😀

Tasty food. Friendly staff. Great outdoors patio. Has parking right outside too. Pet friendly and the tables are from this lovely glossy wood design. Definitely would love to go back and see the place during night with the stars and moon above. (Close to 24hrs Safeway too so you may do some shopping right after)

We ordered the western burger and a plant based burger! Both were delicious!!! Customer service is amazing! I felt like I was in a family kitchen!!! The food is cooked fresh so don't come here in a rush!!! It's worth the short wait!!!

My husband and I LOVE this place! Nothing fancy, located in a small town, but it's our food pit stop heading up to Lake Tahoe. We get order cheese burgers with fries and onion rings. The milkshakes are dreamy! And there's like 2 dozen flavors to choose from.
