We recently had our wedding at Heigh Torr and the whole experience was absolutely amazing! Not only is the venue gorgeous, but we went with the weekender package which was totally worth it and makes for a one of a kind wedding weekend for family, friends, and guests.

Scott, Lauren, and Katherine were a pleasure to work with, always professional, responded in a timely manner, and did a great job coordinating site visits and with our vendors. Definitely book with Heigh Torr for your wedding if you’re thinking about it! You won’t regret it!

I'm a wedding photographer, and I got to work at Heigh Torr Estate for a June wedding this year! It was such a stunning venue! Don't get me started on the bridal suite - truly perfection!!! My couple kept raving about how much they loved their venue and felt so lucky that they found such a perfect spot for their wedding weekend! As a wedding vendor, I loved getting the chance to photographer here!

Heigh Torr Estate was our venue for our November 2023 wedding and we had the best time!! Not only are the grounds GORGEOUS, but the many locations on the property allowed us to give our guests an incredible experience as well. We had the weekender package, so my (now) husband and I stayed there Friday-Sunday along with our wedding parties and immediate families. We cannot recommend it enough. Scott and his team were incredibly helpful and responsive during our set-up day on Friday and were quick to think of solutions for anything that we needed. We then had the best time in the Barn Friday night for our Rehearsal Dinner, such a cozy space that our guests were blown away by. On Saturday, we had our ceremony by the Derry House, cocktail hour by the pool, and reception in the clear-top tent just below the pool area. It was all fabulous and our guests are still raving about what a fun time they had and how amazing our venue was. We are immensely grateful to Scott and his team for helping to make our dream wedding a reality!!

We had a beautiful time celebrating our engagement with our friends and family at Heigh Torr Estate. The entire venue is stunning, dynamic, and an awe-inspiring dream (even in the rain!). We held our engagement photoshoot before the party and were able to utilize the many unique rooms and outdoor spaces for the shoot. The nature was breathtaking and our engagement photos will turn out AMAZING! On the property, the Derry House is charming and authentically decorated with no detail being overlooked. For the party, we enjoyed cocktail hour and passed hors d'oeuvres in the outdoor tent, then retired to the Crawford Room for a family-style dinner in front of the roaring fireplace. We ended the evening in the barn with karaoke, dessert, and more drinks.

Sleeping accommodations in the Derry House and Owl's Nest were very comfortable and it was so convenient for guests to be able to stay on property after the party. Everyone had a fabulous time and we will be talking about the event for years to come.

Scott, Molly, and the entire team were a joy to work with. If you're considering Heigh Torr Estate for your wedding or special event, you won't be disappointed! We made so many wonderful memories there. It's a very special place.

The property and amenities at Heigh Torr are nothing short of spectacular! Thanks to the wonderful team at Heigh Torr, we were able to have the wedding of our dreams while being able to enjoy the property with our family and friends throughout the weekend. The team provided us support throughout the planning process, was incredibly accommodating, and easy to work with. The property itself is beautiful and offers various locations to host wedding events that allows couples to customize the weekend to match their own unique vision. With several wineries nearby, Harper's Ferry, and all that Loudoun County has to offer, the venue is perfectly nestled in an scenic location. We are beyond thankful for being able to host our wedding at Heigh Torr and recommend them to any couple looking for a beautiful venue for their special day.

The wedding planner and her team were fantastic to work with. Communication was straightforward, and they were incredibly accommodating, making the setup and breakdown processes smooth and efficient. The venue offered a charming and intimate atmosphere that we and the guests appreciated.

One of the standout features of the venue is the ceremony area. The field behind the arch, where the chairs were arranged, provided a picturesque backdrop that quickly became one of our favorite spots at any venue. The serene and scenic setting contributed significantly to the overall beauty of the event.

Additionally, the venue has a pool, which would be perfect for summer night weddings, adding an extra element of fun and relaxation for the guests.

Overall, working at Heigh Torr Estate was a delightful experience. The bride was a joy to work with, and her happiness further enhanced the positive atmosphere. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful and accessible location for their special day.

The Heigh Torr Estate in Purcellville, VA is incredible! Absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. Scott and his team were very kind and thoughtful to our very large group. Highly recommend this venue for a Loudon County wedding, family vacation, or other special event.

We loved Heigh Torr! We decided to do a small intimate wedding weekend with our immediate family. This was the perfect summer home for our families to meet and spend a few days together. It was big enough for everyone, but also felt the right size for everyone to spend time together. One of our favorite things was the pool! We grilled some food while everyone else enjoyed hanging out in the pool! We hosted an intimate dinner the next night right by the pool, which made it feel magical! We also got amazing photos since the property has a beautiful view at sunset! We are so grateful to Scott and everyone else at Heigh Torr for making our days there so special and memorable! We can't wait to come back and celebrate anniversaries!

Our experience at Heigh Torr for Kriti and Austin’s wedding was truly fantastic, proving it to be an exceptional wedding venue. The scenic beauty of the estates front lawn provided a spectacular backdrop for the ceremony. As the sun set behind the distant mountains, the grounds offered a breathtaking and memorable view.

Before the wedding, we enjoyed a delightful rehearsal dinner in the historic Carford room. Immersed in the estate's history, the room offered a warm and pleasant setting that everyone loved.
Post-ceremony, we hosted a happy hour by the long, glassy Olympic pool, which thrilled our guests and set the tone for the outstanding reception. The reception tent, with its clear roof, allowed everyone to enjoy a magnificent view of the sky.

The day before the wedding, we held a meet-and-greet in the estates barn. The barn's casual and relaxed countryside atmosphere made everyone feel comfortable and provided a friendly environment.

Many of our guests and the bridal party stayed in the mansion and the Owl’s Nest. Their proximity made wedding preparations and photography a breeze. Heigh Torr's service was excellent, and Kathleen was incredibly helpful, ensuring everything was perfect.

Heigh Torr is just the most fascinating place to gather as a family or for an event. Driving up the long drive begins the transition to relaxation. A walk through this home is a walk through American history. Starting at one end built in the mid 1700s, then continuing through the 1800s and into the 20th century. The walk through also reveals many rooms with fireplaces in which to gather ~ or to seek some alone time ~ along with large, comfortable bedrooms. The property's substantial acreage provides endless possibilities for walks and wildlife sightings. There is also a hot tub and a beautiful large pool.

The location among other estate properties and wineries in the area is beautiful and easily accessible from Dulles International Airport (30 miles) for those of us flying in. DC is approximately an hour away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you to Scott and all who made our visit so memorable!

We celebrated our wedding at Heigh Torr Estate this April and it was an amazing time! The grounds are beautiful and breath taking. The option to stay at the estate for the weekend was a great package, our wedding party was able to stay with us and celebrate during the whole weekend. Scott and his team were amazing during the check in process and during the entire planning process leading up to our wedding. Heigh Torr was an amazing venue for our wedding!!!

A beautiful, relaxing and bucolic setting for a wedding. Very nice owners, tent available, very nice barn can be used. Two houses, gorgeous pool, sleeps 21.

My company, Signature Talent LLC, provided a DJ for a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception event at Heigh Torr Estate this past Saturday. It was our first time working there and I was extremely impressed with the venue and the staff. It's a beautiful property with many locations for guests to enjoy. Our client had their ceremony by the Derry House, cocktails by the pool, and their reception in a tent below the pool. Everyone loved it. 100% recommend!

HT was a stunning venue that we got the chance to set-up a luxury picnic at for an engagement session. Molly and her team were very welcoming! They have a beautiful main house full of history and a huge pool! Would’ve loved to set-up a picnic by that one but it was too cold haha. Definitely recommend checking this beauty out.

Wow! What a beautiful, historic home and property! So many fun and interesting things about this home. Feels like you’re in a story book. The views are amazing and plentiful. Would love to return again sometime.

Heigh Torr is the most stunning and cozy venue and estate! The team provided an amazing tour of the property for my fiancé and me, and was transparent about the estate's amenities for weddings. We had never received such honest advice from a potential venue that also allows complete flexibility with what a wedding looks like. The historic fabric is woven in with modern updates with beautiful colors and textures for any event. The rooms are cozy and comfortable (with lots of extra space) for guests. We are so excited for our July 2024 wedding at Heigh Torr!

The Heigh Torr Estate is right out of a fairytale. There is a new architectural surprise around every corner of the main house. Each deeply set window offers sweeping vistas of Loudon’s wine country. The pool and hot tub are icing on the cake! What a treat it was to meet up with old friends at this amazing place!

Was lucky enough to tour this gorgeous estate nestled in the countryside of Loudoun against a mountainous backdrop. Literally steps from a local winery and hiking trails, this wedding/event venue is picturesque. If the history, architecture and antiques in the main home aren’t enough, the old trees, pastures and landscape are dreamy! There are ghost stories and even a Hollywood connection! There is a cottage and a barn for indoor events too, making this the place that has everything you need for a wedding or event weekend!
