Lyric Coffee House

The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing coffee in the morning. The lyric mocha is very good. Their breakfast sandwich is delicious. One of the best bagels I've had. The history of the building is fascinating! We've sat in the balcony area each time, and we love it! We'll definitely be back!

I love this place. An old theater that was creatively turned into a coffee cozy coffee house off the lake and historical Clayton. Delicious coffee variety to pair with whatever you decide to eat.

Excellent food and drink here. I have ordered a English muffin with cheese, egg and sausage. Yummy and juicy. The environment is perfect. It provides a outdoor dining area that allows dogs or pets to stay. Lyric is a place that suits for seating for a whole afternoon.

Lyric offers great coffee, much better than you might expect in such a small town. My favorite is the Lyric mocha (iced), but they have all kinds. They also offer a limited selection of baked goods if you need a bite. The shop is beautiful and is a nice place to spend a little time sipping your cuppa.

Every time I visit Clayton, a stop to the Lyric is a must! Complete with a full coffee menu along with other treats, this coffee house is the perfect way to start a day of sightseeing and shopping! I like to sit on the top level to look down and people watch, but the atmosphere of the whole shop is cozy and positive. As far as food, I got a delicious cherry/cheese danish and a chai latte! Service was quick and kind!

Hands down my favorite coffee shop when I'm in the islands. It's a must go at least once when I'm there and have also brought friends there when they came up. It's such a cute atmosphere and so friendly and just a gem of a coffee place. I love the smaller coffee shops and everyone must go to this place.

Cute little cafe in an old theater building. I had their signature drink (I think it was called “Lyric mocha” and found it very enjoyable. The seating is comfortable and they offer wifi. It was quite busy on a Monday morning in the off season. They sell some baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. My only disappointment was the lack of gluten free options on the food menu, but it’s difficult to fault them for that.

Went to a cake decorating class here. It was amazing and fun. The staff here are friendly and the drink menu is plentiful. Cute place, definitely plan on revisiting.

Excellent atmosphere. This is such a cute little place in Downton Clayton. I got the chai latte with vanilla and a cheesecake bite and both were soooo delicious. We had our book club meeting here (three people) and we were super cozy by the fireplace. The woman behind the counter was so friendly and the prices were way better than Dunkin or Starbucks. I highly recommend.

Great coffee house!

We stopped in for a quick latte and were very impressed with the vibe, service, and even the value.

It struck us as a high end coffee house, but the pricing was very reasonable. They had a nice selection of baked goods that looked amazing even though we didn’t try anything other than coffee.

The clerk was super nice and friendly and we really thought it was great. Would for sure go back if ever in the area again.

Excellent coffee and baked good. I had the New Orleans and a Peach cake, both where absolutely excellent. One of the best cold brews I have had. The peach cake was fantastic. Great, fast, and friendly service. Definitely one of our top spot to get a bite while in the area.

Very nice place atmosphere was great, but it was really busy because some of the other places were not open but would go there. Again, thank you for the bagel.

Any time we're in Clayton, we stop in. We love the drinks, and the food. :)

We stopped by here and all is can say is wow! I ordered the grindstone island latte and it was perfectly hot and tasted so delicious. The cafe is so cozy and inviting. We don’t come here often but next time we do, we’ll be sure to stop by again!

Cozy, warm and welcoming! The staff is friendly and the aroma of the building is my favorite part of the experience here.

A great spot to relax with a drink and dessert. I'm not a huge coffee fan, so I was pleasantly surprised at the wide range of beverages. The first visit, the line was very long, the next day very quick. There were tables available both times, though, and there is a second floor with tables which were totally free both times. A nice spot to sit and write or relax with a book. :)
